I just moved to the area & needed to find a good eyebrow place. I read the reviews here & thought I'd give it a shot.. so I went in for eyebrow threading & an eyelash lift/perm. Even though I got there before other customers I spent about 20 minutes waiting to get my eyelash lift & during my session the lady was running back & forth between me & other customers coming in, which was a little irritating. After about 35-40 minutes of me getting my eyelash lift I got up to look in the mirror & there was literally no change in my lashes. Granted I do have straight eyelashes but I have had several lifts before & they came out great. On top of that my eyebrows did not come out how I'm used to them. There were still a lot of stray hairs left. The lady was nice, but I'm sorry to say I will not be going back.

I wanted to try this place a second time, since the first time I went I was unsure if I liked it or not. But this second time ruined it for me. I showed up around 2:30 and no customers. The lady that was doing brows didn't even greet me so I said hello? And she was towards the back and yells give me 5 minutes I'm eating lunch. So I said ok..should I wait? And she said yes. So I waited. She continued to eat and talk on the phone. She was also eating with her fingers while enjoying her call. I waited and waited and the longer I waited the more I was thinking she better wash her hands. But the more I thought about it the more I got grossed out. So after 10-12 minutes of waiting I got up and started to walk out. She then came running hang on I'm finishing now. I said don't worry about it take your time. I'm leaving. Honestly I got tired of waiting and grossed out from her eating with her fingers and possibly thinking she wouldn't wash her hands. I will not be returning here anymore. There is another place Aaianas which I will 1,000% recommend over this place. read more

First time going here and there was a small wait. I tried to go to AAINA's but the wait there was 10+ people. So I ended up visiting this salon instead. I really liked how she left my eyebrows. I have been threading my eyebrows for years and it's the only form I use. She cleaned them up and shaped them. I really liked how she went back and made sure she got every hair possible. It's affordable, fast, and good service. I would definitely recommend if you live around the are. read more

Shabina Does an excellent job. She actually takes her time to evaluate your eyebrows before and after to make sure they are perfect and the same. She gives your eyebrows that extra clean and crisp look . She works Thursday - Saturday ask for her You won't be disappointed don't forget to tip her as well she's worth it! Simmy's is great! They do quiet a few services but I go in for eyebrow threading- every single employee is so polite, professional and consistent. Very happy they're around the corner from me, I've never had anything other than great customer service by their lovely employees. Thankful to get a service where they genuinely care about their customers which is rare to find nowadays in service industry. Anyway, they are VERY affordable. Wishing they had a loyalty program for no other reason than they just deserve great clientele. read more

I always tweezed my own eyebrowrs, and I thought I was doing a fairly decent job until I came here. After the first visit I realized how uneven I was tweezing my eyebrows. They completely fixed them and now that I've been here a few times, my eyebrows have filled in and are a lot more symmetrical. I never thought my eyebrows could look so nice! read more

I rode with my wife to get her eyebrows threaded. They talked me into getting my neckline threaded and it was excruciatingly enjoyable. Simmy was an absolute delight. Just a pure sweet soul. My wife's eyebrows turned out "fleeky" as the children say. I highly recommend this place to all you salty bitches out there with them crooked ass brows. Simmy is legit AF. Simmy is seriously the best at eyebrow threading. I feel so comfortable going in there and knowing I am going to leave with some gorgeous brows. I dont even have to tell her what I like. I was so happy to find out that Simmy opened a second location CLOSER TO MY HOUSE! I've been driving 45 minutes out of my way every 2-3 weeks for the past 3 years because I refuse to allow anyone else to touch mine or my daughter's eyebrows. When I lived across town I drove an hour to her other location to have my eyebrows done now I have moved to Spring and she opened up right down the road! I won't let anyone else do my eyebrows. It's affordable and she does a great job. Waxing causes collagen to break around your eyes which is one of the first places women show their age, I've been doing threading for over a decade. I believe clients should feel cared for during their service, especially at this price point.

I found this new place to get my hair done. I've been looking for a new stylist and I'm almost positive I found a great match for me. I'm very picky at who I allow in my hair and Samantha was very prompt and patient with me. I didn't have a wait I got in the chair at the time of my appointment and was finished in a timely manner with amazing quality. I was having a bad day and she greeted me with a smile as well as made my day better by holding a conversation and taking my mind off of other things. What made me fall in love with this place even more is that she cared enough to not allow me to damage my hair and educated me on taking care of it at home. I came in a few days ago my experience was amazing. Not only did Samantha slay my hair color but she was also on time and very professional. My scheduled appointment was MY appointment it wasn't shared with three other people. She had me in and out. Being African American I was scared that she wouldn't have the proper knowledge to tend to my hair but I was completely wrong. It was the best service that I have ever received. My hair has tons of movement and volume the cut is perfect she listened and understood exactly what was asked of her not to mention how healthy my hair looks and feels. New location that has opened closer to my mother's house, very clean, calm and welcoming place. The woman who is usually always there is so sweet, takes her time on every single customer, and just never falls short to amaze me in her work! I totally recommend this place I've stopped at their spring location and SIMMY has been my place ever since! I will not waste $12-14 going to the mall for my eyebrows for the job to be done incorrectly, rude customer service and lousy service. I love Simmy's she does an amazing job every single time I go. I don't even tell them what to do, and it always comes out well. My best friend usually just asks for them not to be too thin because she has had them too thin before, but they worked with her and her eyebrows looked great too. The lady who did my eyebrows was really attentive and took her time to make sure it was done to my liking. No complaints at all. This is the second time I have gone to Simmy's to get my eyebrows threaded and she is the BEST! My eyebrows are out of control bushy, but she is able to tame them and make me feel sexy with the shape that she does.
