The look of my lashes is always fine/ acceptable to me, although no one really listens to what you want. I work at night so typically this is my first errand/appointment of the day. WOW lash always calls me 2-3 times and tries to move my appointment to earlier or later (usually I am still asleep). It's super annoying to be harassed when you have an appointment. I was very excited to get my lashes done here with all the great reviews. I initially called to make an appointment for 11am and then was asked to text my name and appointment time. I then received a text at 9:33 pm asking if I could come later, I said 11:30 was fine. I then get a text at 9 am the day of my appointment asking if I could come at 10. Been going to WOW for a couple of months now and I'm very happy with my lashes. I tend to be very sensitive to lash adhesive and to the under eye gel pads, but Vicki has it covered. I've been trying to get my lashes done by Vicki since I was referred to her by a friend who actually warned me. She said Vicki does good lashes, at a decent price but she's horrible at responding to texts and communicating. I decided to take my chances because Vicki actually replied to me in a timely manner. She even agreed to meeting me at her 2nd location which is in the Heights and so much closer to me then Champions. The day before my appointment I text Vicki to confirm and hope she remembers since it's at her other shop. No reply. I called her phone, no answer. I text again and she replies with "Yes". The next day I show up to the Heights location only to see an empty parking lot. I knock on the door no answer! I called again! No answer! I am pretty pissed off because I cancelled a dentist appointment to make this appointment. (Priorities right?) I then call her main location looking for her and a man picks up, probably her husband and says he will try to locate her. At this point I'm not going to wait, so I leave. When I get home I finally get replies for her saying she mixed up her days which is bullshit because I literally text her the day before. She tries to offer me a free fill but at this point I don't want any services from any of her locations free or not. I don't even know how she runs 2 locations. So the 2 stars is for service, not for how well she actually does lashes. I would have given her a 1 but gave a 2 because she might actually do a good job, but then again I wouldn't know since she stood me up. read more

So today I went and got a full by Vicky! I am not originally from Houston or Texas at all and she made me feel like it was home. Her salon gives a warm welcome and it is a great atmosphere. Her friendly staff greeted me as I entered the door and asked if I would like to clean my lashes while I wait! After that Vicky greeted me and we began, she was very polite and had a great smile. As we started lashing one of the staff members asked if I was cold and would like a blanket, which was VERY kind and generous of her. Through out the whole process Vicky made sure I was ok and nothing was irritating me. After done lashing they looked amazing! Now the only reason why I'm making SUCH a big deal is because I'm VERY PICKY ABOUT MY LASHES... I have been traveling the states with the LOVE NEVER DIES: First National tour and I've been to 20+ different lash techs THROUGH out the states. I did get to choose my look and the lash type. It was a get in get out type of feeling. The standard per the lash tech is 1st timers get a natural lash install. I said cool and went with it. The process was ok. It burned a little bit and it hurt a couple times but it didn't deter me. I was looking for lashes and I got them. My lashes are short, curly and thin.
