I enjoy this WorldMark location, the amenities are great - from the billiards and table tennis, to the pool and multiple hot tubs. I also really appreciate the cleanliness of the rooms, the prompt service whenever anything is needed, and the nearby golf course is a nice compliment to the whole thing. The only reason this place does not get a five star review is due to the paywalled internet access. This location has poor cell phone coverage, and the wireless internet here is $49 for internet on three devices. We roll in as a family of four, two adults and two kids, with cell phones, tablets, and laptops. Even if we only did our cell phones to ensure we can call and text it would be ~$100 for ten days of internet - that's straight up crazy work! Other than this rather important issue, the place is great by every other metric, but unless you either plan to "unplug" while in your room, or don't mind dropping ~$100+ for the luxury of basic speed internet access in 2025, this item is an important one to keep in mind.

Sooo, my husband and I desperately needed a vacation and since we're owners with WorldMark, he booked our stay at WorldMark Windsor. I arrived at the timeshare early because I wanted to surprise him with a sweet message. I was assisted by Lisa and told her about my "great idea" of using rose petals to say I U Lee. Lisa, Rosa and Steven agreed to play along and pretend to only meet me for the first time when my husband and I arrived later together. When we arrived, Dillon assisted us because Lisa and Steven were with other owners and Rosa was on break. All went well, but you have to watch the video. All the staff at Windsor were amazing! I think this location is my favorite so far. The suite was clean, beautiful and decorated very nicely. The grounds were clean and we enjoyed the jacuzzi for hours. We'll absolutely be back in the future! I highly recommend you visit soon!

In room fireplace. Works quite well, looks nice too.

The best WorldMark property we've stayed in so far. Great room, nice people, well situated, their fireplace actually worked correctly too. The grounds were quite nice with many things to do while staying here. Everything seemed well kept. Too bad the place was in Windsor, not a very good area this time of year. Its either foggy or its raining, or trying to do both at the same time. Too cold to even use the BBQ on the patio which was a first for us. I live to grill, my motto: Mongo say, meat, fire, good! We'd definitely stay here again if their was a reason to come this way some day. This last visit to the bay area is most likely the last visit. Its in a constant state of gridlock whenever we were out and about. Frisco has been ravaged by time, its fabled charm is mostly living in the rear view mirror. The infrastructure seems completely unable to support the population density; sad really.

Great location in the Sonoma County WorldMark Windsor is the closest resort from our home. We've stayed at this quiet resort a few times. It is our home away from home while visiting many places in the Sonoma County. Windsor is surrounded by plenty of wineries and, of course, the beautiful Russian River Valley. The resort is clean and accommodations have always been what is expected from WorldMark. The staff are friendly but the part we hate the most is when they start offering these "60-min owner updates." It's never 60 minutes and it's always more than an update. They always try to get you with a $75 Amex card, Wyndham Reward Credits, or some kind of pass for wine tasting for attending. Ugh! Anyway, just 10 minutes away we drove to Downtown Healdsburg to enjoy boutique shops and wineries. Bodega Bay is 31 miles from the resort... we've enjoyed the scenic drive to Bodega Bay with views of the mighty Pacific Ocean along the California coast, we've also stopped by some of the beaches along the way. During our last stay here we enjoyed a drive at the Highway 128 California Wine Country... a scenic stretch of 144 miles. We didn't get as far as the Mendocino Coast but we crossed through Sonoma County, Napa Valley and west of Yolo County. WorldMark Windsor is a great location for a quiet getaway not very far from Wine Country. Review #0175 updated

WorldMark Windsor was the nicest place I saw available in the Santa Rosa area. It's in Windsor which is about 30 minutes away from Santa Rosa. We came here for a few nights and won't ever stay at a hotel again. Time share condos are honestly the best vacation place to stay. We booked a two bedroom/two bathroom apartment. There was a toaster, large fridge, stove, utensils, grill, plates, bowls, mixing bowls, spices, washing machine/dryer, etc. All I needed dish washing tablets and cooking oil. We went to Whole Foods before going there during several days of rain and we had amazing home-cooked meals the entire stay (scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, salads, etc.) One thing that stood out to me was how clean everything was. Everything looked new. I added a vase of flowers and felt at home immediately! Some things to note, the walls and ceilings are thin and you can hear footsteps and slamming of doors. The bedrooms have blinds but no drapes so outdoor street lights shine into the rooms. The heating system didn't work in the bedrooms and only in the living room so I was very cold the first night. Both bedrooms had a bathroom with tubs/showers. As a result of not having heating inside the bedrooms, I slept on pull out bed and that solved all my problems. I was warm and the room was heated to 76 degrees and since the living room also had drapes, it was dark enough to sleep. Service was good overall. We were welcomed warmly. My partner needed an extra two hours in the morning for a business meeting and Ken accommodated him! Will definitely love to return in the future! We enjoyed the Schultz museum and gift shop in the nearby Santa Rosa and the Santa Rosa/Windsor restaurants were great! P.S. I took a star off because my partner left a new 30 dollar Yeti tumbler in the dishwasher (see pic of kitchen and turquoise Yeti tumbler) and even though we called the day we left the premises, no one ever found the beloved Yeti tumbler! We made several follow up calls to no avail. You would think that housekeeping would bring it into Lost and Found because we were told to confirm our address at the beginning of our stay in case we left anything behind so that they would mail us back our belongings if necessary. Sad but someone stole the Yeti tumbler (either housekeeping or a new renter) but there's no good reason why their inventory wasn't tallied after we left and the Yeti tumbler returned to us.

The man can truly cook. We've tried a variety of his dishes, and each one shows such intention, from the flavor profiles to the textures; and everything is always beautifully presented. It never misses. His congee is absolutely to die for, and those thinly sliced pork pieces with crisped skin and tender, juicy meat are a standout every single time. Check out that pic of burger he made for us for burger week! You can really taste the quality, especially knowing he uses fresh vegetables straight from the garden on the property. That is farm-to-table at its finest. On one of our visits, we stayed in a suite above the restaurant, which made the whole experience even more special. It was so nice to head upstairs after dinner and fully relax in our own space. Our room was stocked with thoughtful treats upon arrival, and we had access to the most beautiful private gym. The pool area is stunning, and we loved riding the bikes they provide to explore the property. I would absolutely stay here again. Everywhere you go, there's curated art to enjoy, which adds such a unique and elevated touch. They also host special events throughout the year. We especially love their summer movie nights, lounging on the lawn with fresh popcorn, wine, and Red Vines is such a vibe. All in all, our experience started with the restaurant and kept us coming back for more. It's made even more special by the team, who consistently make us feel so welcomed every time we visit. Thank you for always spoiling us, Chef. We are so grateful for you. Your talent and skill truly shine, and The Madrona is lucky to have you. See you again soon!

I've paid a lot less for hotels that have included way better birthday amenities. 3. The room is nice but nothing exceptional. 4. Smores hour is cute but the smores are definitely stale. 5. I dropped something behind the tub and it was clear things had not been cleaned back there. Everything else was very clean, and that is important to me. 6. The restaurant is overrated. Go to other spots for the vibe and food. The pros: 1. I absolutely love the connections that this hotel has to wineries and wine tasting. We would come back just for this as staying at farmhouse gets you exceptional service at the partner wineries. This is what makes it special! 2. The wine happy hour hosts were also great. Walking to our room in the hallway they had a table set up with lemon water and a pumpkin (we checked in October 12th) with apples in it that said take one. Our room was 322, away from the stairwell, ice machine and stairwell. It was the perfect location. The room was quiet, we couldn't hear our neighbors. The room was large. It had a desk and chair to lounge in. The TV had plenty of channels. Several HBO channels and Disney. We watched The God Father. The room also has a Kerig machine and 2 tea bags, different from the bigalo that they have downstairs, this was generic tea. There is also a fridge. They don't have a laundry bag in the closet. You have to go to the front desk for a laundry bag. The shower has Dove products (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash) in dispensers. They give you a mini bar of dove for the sink. They have 2 rolls of toilet paper on display. The complimentary breakfast was a hit. They had chafing dishes with cheese omelets and your choice of turkey or pork sausage patties. We pared this with a cinnamon roll. They also had a variety of juices, chocolate and plain milk, a pancake machine, bagels and breads. Then was something for everyone. I'd stay here again. It's near Rushing River Brewery and next door to a bowling alley that also has mini golf in the evenings. Windsor isn't in the heart of everything. He ended up booking Vinarosa Resort & Spa because he felt it looked more immersed in nature. Let me just say... the universe absolutely knew what it was doing. From the moment we arrived, I was in love. Everyone was incredibly kind, starting with Edgar at check-in. He made us feel so welcome and at ease. While we were standing there, I looked at my husband and said, "Do you think we can stay another night?" I already didn't want to leave. We stayed in room 121, which had a beautiful balcony overlooking the property. You could hear birds chirping constantly. We immediately poured a glass of wine and sat outside soaking it all in. It truly felt like being in a foreign country, tucked into a peaceful vineyard paradise. I had assumed it would feel like winter and didn't pack a bathing suit. That quickly changed. I visited the spa boutique and bought a Bromelia bathing suit that is now my favorite. It's made in California with ethically sourced materials and fit perfectly. While there, I met Chelle, the spa director, who was warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. She told me about spa openings for the next day, which led to one of the most incredible experiences of the trip. The next day, I spent the entire day at the pool. Completely alone. It felt surreal and magical to have that peaceful space all to myself. Later that afternoon, I went to the spa and enjoyed the amenities and snacks before having one of the most fabulous massages I've ever experienced. It was deeply relaxing and restorative. And afterward, they brought out a lemon lavender drink that can only be described as a magic elixir. It was light, refreshing, and somehow made me feel enlightened. It was the perfect finishing touch to an already transformative experience. The room itself was fully remodeled and beautifully designed. The floor lights in the bathroom automatically turn on when you walk in. The cozy vibe, the fountain outside, the mirrors in the shower -- every detail felt intentional and elevated. The bed was extremely comfortable. Each morning, I grabbed coffee and the barista, Collin, was so sweet and thoughtful. She even offered to fill my water bottle before I headed to the gym. And here's the funny part. I originally chose the other hotel because of the gym. But this gym ended up being exactly what I needed -- aesthetic, clean, and crisp. I got two great workouts in and felt completely supported in my routine. Overall, I could easily spend two weeks here without hesitation. From the very beginning of the meal, there was a clear sense of precision, elegance, and intention. The opening presentation was stunning, filled with an assortment of beautifully composed small bites featuring oyster, mushroom, sea bream, and a variety of other seasonal ingredients. Each bite felt delicate yet purposeful, showcasing both technical refinement and remarkable balance. One of the most memorable dishes of the evening was the bluefin tuna moriawase paired with strawberries. Normally, fruit in savory dishes tends to feel distracting or overly sweet to me, but the execution here was exceptional. The chefs managed to create a harmony between sweetness, tartness, acidity, and umami that elevated the tuna rather than overshadowing it. It was a dish that felt thoughtful, restrained, and incredibly well composed. The consistency throughout the progression of the menu was equally impressive. Course after course arrived with meticulous presentation and a strong sense of identity. Every dish felt polished and intentional, balancing visual artistry with flavors that were equally compelling. There was never a moment where the meal lost momentum, and the pacing allowed each course to feel distinct while still contributing to a cohesive experience. That said, there was one course that completely missed the mark for our group. The milk and honey dessert, which resembled a sponge cake topped with a whipped goat cheese foam, was overwhelmingly pungent and difficult to approach as a dessert course. The intensity of the goat cheese dominated every other component, to the point where it felt less like a composed dessert and more like being punched by a goat farm. Looking around the dining room, it seemed we were not alone in our reaction. Interestingly, when we mentioned that this was the only dish we did not enjoy, we were told, "if at least 1 out of 10 guests enjoy it, we consider it a win." It was certainly an unexpected response, especially given how polished and thoughtful the rest of the experience had been. Even with that misstep, the overall meal was exceptional. SingleThread succeeds in delivering a dining experience that feels elegant, immersive, and deeply personal. Between the artistry of the presentations, the balance of flavors, and the technical execution across the menu, it remains one of the most impressive three Michelin star experiences in California.

Spots like Partake, Cafe Lucia and La Crema are literally footsteps away in the same complex. A whole host of other wonderful spots are within a 5 min walk. Since checking in a few days ago, we have had the chance to really get a taste of the downtown area. Among the walking-distance must tries we've discovered: -Bravas Bar de Tapas -Shed -Moustache Baked Goods (crazy good cupcakes) -Flying Goat Coffee -Downtown Bakery & Creamery -Cafe Lucia -Wurst (awesome hot dogs/burgers) -Williamson Wines (free tasting paired with nice cheese bites) -Chalkboard -Partake -La Crema WInes -Cartograph Wines With a couple more days to go, we can't wait to sample even more of the local flavor. All in all, Healdsburg is an amazing place to eat, drink and just relax with good company. Two Thirty-Five effortlessly facilitates all of this. We definitely will plan to stay here again (& again)!
