Tired this on a whim as I'm tired of the overpriced salads at Sweetgreens and also the expensive sandwiches at Mendocino Farms. This place was surprisingly a delight. The wraps were really tasty. Not 100% sure why they call it a flatbread as it's basically a tortilla, but a very yummy tortilla which they make and press in house. I got the chicken shawarma supreme wrap and it has their new cut thick fries inside which was so yummy. There was a good amount of filling in the chicken wrap. My friend got the furikake salmon nori wrap. This was good, but definitely preferred the other. What I did like about it is that it wasn't over filled with rice but it was noticeably smaller than the shawarma. I also tried a sample of their ube horchata which was delicious. Today was the first time I ordered from World Wrapps. I'm happy to say that it's definitely a repeat restaurant. I ordered the Saigon Salmon Salad bowl and it was quite tasty. The dressing settles on the bottom so it helps to mix the salad prior to eating. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I placed an order online and when I went to pick it up, the cashier worker was very welcoming and friendly. I arrived early so order was not ready yet. I told him I'll be back. When I came back, He hand delivered my order to me. You don't get personal attention and service with online orders these days. We will order from here again. So I went here twice in two days, the first day on a Saturday and had the Hawaiian poke bowl. It wasn't very good, it was too spicy and the fish didn't taste very fresh. The next day on Sunday, I received a voucher for a free food item, so I gave it another try and this time we got The Barcelona Paella. It was amazing! Oh my goodness, this place never fails us! My husband always wants to try a new plate here, but will end up eating off my salmon bowl with rice! We are obsessed with this restaurant, my only complaint is how expensive it is. But it's sooooooo freaking tasty that we are constantly coming back. We ended up just getting a couple bowls and sharing them and both were great. Compared to pacific catch on the other side of the Pruneyard, these were quite a bit cheaper and at least equal in quality. They also have quite a bit more options here. Went to World Wrapps for lunch. It was a bit difficult to find because the location puts it right next to Be Steak A, but it is really closer to Orchard City Kitchen and Asian Box. World wrapps seems like an Asian inspired restaurant as they have sushirittos, poke bowls, and other asian flavored items. I ordered the furikake salmon wrap. It looks like the restaurant is pretty new as there were boxes lying around and they were setting some stuff up. The food didn't take long, less than 5 minutes which is great for someone on a time crunch. However, my disappointment is the size of the actual nori wrap. This nori wrap is similar to a baton that they use in track and field but just a bit thicker. It is a bit deceiving considering that the wrapper on the outside takes a lot of the space and makes the wrap seem bigger than it actually was. After tax, the wrap ended up being $15 and some change. The wrap itself wasn't anything to go crazy about, but I am not complaining about the flavors. The price just doesn't justify this as I could go to a poke bowl type spot and fill myself up for about the same price. If I were to go here again, I would definitely order something different, maybe the bowls. Employees are nice which is great. read more
