I've tried almost all of the restaurants in the Pruneyard and this is one of the last places I haven't tried. The menu isn't too much and describe what each item has. The freshly made beverages are by the register. There were dessert samples offered to me (ube rice krispy, brownie and chocolate chip cookie). There are two registers, no kiosks and they have a designed area for mobile orders on the other side of the register. The staff walked over to me to hand my order. By far the friendliest staff I've ever encountered. The wooden interior is a different aesthetic. The tables were clean, entire area was clean. I got the Thai chicken wrap and their fries. I got the garlic shake and garlic aioli. Both items came out to $20 and some cents. It's a hefty wrap. I just wish the wrapper was different, as some of the wrap got stuck to the wrapper. The crunchy vegetables, savory peanut butter sauce and well cooked rice, it's a delicious wrap. The fries were thick and there were more provided than their display photos. It had a crispy outside and fluffy interior. The garlic aioli had a strong garlic flavor. Out of the dessert samples, the chocolate chip was the best. Ube rice krispy needed more ube flavor and the brownie was too sweet and soft. It needed texture like chocolate chunks or nuts. Cookie had large chocolate chips, with a chewy interior and crispy exterior. I'll try their drinks next time. read more

Went here after our original lunch plan didn't pan out. Menu is easy to navigate and they have pictures on the menu which are helpful. I asked the employee what their best item was and I was directed to the Adobo Burrito. I was wanting something more unique but since she said it was the best, I had to try it. It was very bland and I wish I had ordered a salad instead. I asked staff if they had any salsa or sauce for the burrito and she pointed me in the direction of bottled hot sauce. Ummm, no thank you. My SIL's salad looked delicious and I was pretty bummed. The only redemption for me was the fact that they have Ube horchata. It's my favorite and really hard to find. I also found out this place is a chain so not likely to return. I'll stick to mom and pop restaurants and small biz. read more

Service here is not fast; it's pretty slow. I walked in, and no one was ahead of me at 11:00 a.m. There may have been a large order that had been phoned in, but I can't say. What I can chime in on is that the behind-the-counter staff were very chatty with each other. I ordered the Samurai Salmon and should have been in and out within ten minutes max; my order took twice as long. I suggest that you order ahead for the best service experience. The Samurai Salmon is served with a good portion of Salmon, a ton of Sushi rice, half an avocado, cumber, Rainbow slaw, Sprouts, scallions, and sesame seeds. It is served with a wasabi vinaigrette. The wasabi vinaigrette had no spice or kick and fell flat for me. On a positive note, the portion size was large enough for two meals. read more

World Wrapps occupies a fairly good niche to have as an option: healthy fast casual food with pretty solid bang for your buck. While it's not going to be winning awards, I certainly plan on coming back when I'm in the mood for something not too heavy/unhealthy yet still fresh and flavorful. Service was fairly brief in interactions, but staff were quite kind in demeanor and took initiative to be helpful. As their name implies, much of their menu are varieties of wraps with a protein choice, which each can be converted into a bowl for $1. If the bowl I got is any indication, it's a hefty amount of food minus the outer shell/wrapping. Having their steak/salmon bowl for a seasonal special was a positively massive serving! ==Ube Horchata - 5/5 Pretty solid rendition of horchata that isn't disgustingly sweet and with a nice creamy profile blended with the earthy Ube. I was quite a fan of this one for the good balance alone, but I'm also a sucker for Ube flavored goodies. The Ube rice crispies I saw will have to wait for next time... ==Bulgogi beef - 4/5 This 'nori wrap' is essentially a large seaweed sheet wrapped around the contents of a rice bowl. Generally good construction with fresh ingredients laid out length-wise so you get a good mixed bite throughout the meal. Only major shortfall is the fact the seaweed itself gets really wet/greasy so it gets soggy rather fast (a crisp texture this does not have), so I'm not too sold on the idea...but still a tasty wrap flavorwise if you keep it well wrapped up in the paper. ==Kale & Sweet potato - 5/5 Pretty much tastes like fall in a bowl. Bright and colorful, with creamy bites of nutty goodness and fresh produce that shines through. I don't usually have tuscan kale raw but it works well in this dish. The steak/salmon combination was like a poor-man's surf and turf...but honestly it's worth it for the value alone (not many places you can get that much sliced steak and salmon fillet at the price). A business has every right to change the prices it needs to charge to survive in our economy. What I object to is the deception of additional hidden fees. When I order food, I do the math in my head. Then I wonder where I goofed, especially when ordering from a kiosk. It calls into question in my mind where all the other corners are being cut. Food quality? Staff wages? I would rather pay $14.95 up front for a burrito than pay $9.99 plus a 4% service charge - even though that total is only $10.39. Hope this helps your future pricing strategy. As I was looking through the menu, I was approached by one employee who checked in if I needed help. The cashier was courteous and my to-go order was ready in 10 min., as promised. The chicken tikka masala bowl was everything I wanted. Lots of fresh veggies, a little spicy but not uncomfortably so, and tons of flavor. I really appreciate how many healthy options there are and I love that most of the foods can be turned vegan or vegetarian. It's great if you want a filling yet light meal and it's great for families with different dietary restrictions and preferences. This one is located in the Campbell Pruneyard Mall - which is the also the closest one to home. Came by during lunch time and there was no line when we got in but after we ordered, the line built up quick! I ordered the bulgogi beef wrap and my bf got the Mexican griddled bowl. I like how your item has the option to be either a burrito wrap or a bowl. My bulgogi wrap was so good! I loved all the toppings inside - it complemented as a whole very well. I used to frequent World Wrapps, in Santa Clara, over 20 years ago, and I loved that place. My job took me out of Santa Clara, and I live far enough away that I stopped going there. When I saw the World Wrapps in The Pruneyard I was excited to finally be near one of their stores again. They took over the old LuLu's Mexican Restaurant that was right at the corner, near Buca di Beppo and OCK. It's not a very big restaurant but it does the job. The fact that it's in The Pruneyard is a plus and minus to me. I hate the parking there but, when I have the time, it's about a 15 minute (or less) walk, which is nice. The food is still extremely fresh, like it was over 20 years ago at their Santa Clara location. I had the Samurai Salmon bowl. The salmon was perfectly cooked, flakey, and tasted good. No fishy smell or taste, thankfully! The carrots and cabbage were nice and crunchy, and their sushi rice was sticky, but a little on the salty side. The salty thing didn't bother me, because I am more of a fan of savory things. I ordered extra avocado and I was happy to receive perfectly ripe avocado slices that were healthy and green looking, not brown. The reason for me marking off one star is partially due to the fact that there is A LOT of sweet flavors going on here. The ingredients list a wasabi aioli and a wasabi vinaigrette, so I was definitely expecting something more savory. I feel like that much sugar kills a lot of the healthy benefits to the meal. Also, there was zero hint of wasabi. I don't know, maybe they put the wrong sauce on my bowl and confused it for one of the other salmon dishes? Even now I can't shake this overly sweet aftertaste in my mouth. I didn't mark them off more than one star because the aversion to overly sweet stuff is a personal preference. Most people seem to LOVE sugary stuff. But I took off half a star because I think this much sweetness takes away from the balance of the meal. The other half of a star that I took off is for the new Pad Thai Shrimp Wroll appetizer I tried. It was almost all rice. All the non-rice ingredients were squished to one side of the roll, so you either had a really good, flavorful bite or a bite of just plain, sticky, salty rice and poppy seed soy wrap. There isn't a ton of room to fit a lot of ingredients in this little wrap, but even still, it was lacking on shrimp. It was extremely flavorful though...when you got a bite with the non-rice fillings. I just would have liked to see the ingredients dispersed a little more evenly and maybe a little more chopped up shrimp in there. They have super fresh ingredients and decent sizes for the pricing. I read some reviews saying it seems small for the price, but with how things are lately, I felt they are pretty comparable to other places. I am not sure I will being returning, but if I go back I will be doing some modifications to the meals. Just because it wasn't a hit for me doesn't mean the majority of people won't like it. If I take other peoples preferences into consideration I feel this place is a solid 4 star restaurant for the majority. I think a lot of people will like it. read more

Tired this on a whim as I'm tired of the overpriced salads at Sweetgreens and also the expensive sandwiches at Mendocino Farms. This place was surprisingly a delight. The wraps were really tasty. Not 100% sure why they call it a flatbread as it's basically a tortilla, but a very yummy tortilla which they make and press in house. I got the chicken shawarma supreme wrap and it has their new cut thick fries inside which was so yummy. There was a good amount of filling in the chicken wrap. My friend got the furikake salmon nori wrap. This was good, but definitely preferred the other. What I did like about it is that it wasn't over filled with rice but it was noticeably smaller than the shawarma. I also tried a sample of their ube horchata which was delicious. Also had a server come around and ask how our food was. Definitely would come back again. read more

Yum! My first time trying World Wrapps and the food was so good here. They have so many options, it was a little overwhelming (but in a good way). Since it was hot, we opted for mostly seafood options that are served cold. I was so impressed with the Hawaiian poké wrap. It was the size of a burrito and had really refreshing ingredients inside. My favorite was the Vietnamese shrimp salad. It reminded of a deconstructed shrimp spring roll and I would gladly eat this all the time. We also tried the Argentina chimichurri steak bowl. That was so hearty and I would order that again if I'm super hungry. A decent amount of indoor and outdoor seating. It's a great addition to the Pruneyard. read more

Another disappointment :( I believe this place opened earlier this year and took over Lulu's. I was excited for a new healthy addition to the area and was hoping this was good food but it's not :( I been here 2x and both times were disappointing and waste of money. The items on the menu are not cheap. The first time we ordered a roll/wrap or whatever you want to call it; it's pretty much a burrito. I don't even remember what it was exactly but that it was a roll and it was impossible to eat :( the paper wrapping was stuck to the wrap and inedible. It was literally tearing the wrap and everything was falling out. But +1 star b/c we said "for here" so we just asked if they can remake and it came out sort of better. The 2nd time we ordered for here here again. Ordered a salmon bowl and another wrap. The wrap was ok this time but it lacked flavor. Ugh the bowl was another huge disappointment. I had rice as my base and the rice was old/not fresh. Every bite I had a chunk of hard rice that was inedible :( I didn't even get to enjoy my meal cause I kept spitting out the hard pieces of rice. Anyway, that's just my review. Maybe I'll give it a 3rd try next year but I'm not sure. Everything on the menu sounds amazing and the photos look good but nothing has impressed me so far :( I'll still give it 2 stars. 1 star for them remaking our roll and 1 star for the quick service. read more

I'm not too sure when this restaurant popped up, but I know in the spring time it was a brightly colored/yellow Mexican restaurant. Lol I guess it closed shortly after that?! Nevertheless, I'm glad to see there's another great place I can eat out with all my crazy food allergies!!! This company does not use soy sauce, they use Tamari sauce! So there's no MSG/monosodium glutamate! So hard to find in a lot of Asian and Latin/Mexican restaurants during takeout because it's the easiest way to season their items, yet I'm deathly allergic to monosodium glutamate! We got two bowls, the Vietnamese shrimp bowl and the Samurai Salmon Bowl. Both were delicious and tasty, but I favored my boyfriend Vietnamese shrimp bowl. Lol I asked for the peanuts on the side, but I neglected to check the bag before I walked out the door. Lol all the peanuts were mixed in, my food is more of a preference than an allergy in regards to it, so I just ate around them. Lol The samurai bowl was delicious as well and the salmon was perfectly tender, yet the Wasobe aïoli sauce tasted more like horseradish to me than real wasabi. It was a bit too spicy for me, but it still tasted delicious and I ate the majority of it! Lol I will definitely be back at this restaurant for more takeout!! read more
