Great food for the price. We got three different wraps and they all hac unique flavors and interesting ingredients. The fries were made to order and came piping hot with my choice of sauce. The people were fine. There is plenty of seating, but a lot of tables were still dirty. It was very solid.

I had a really nice little lunch here! There aren't that many wrap places left, especially for vegetarians, so I appreciate that this one is around! The service was standout, with one of the employees checking on me and letting me know I could refill my iced tea. Super clean and calm inside, plus nice outdoor seating. I got the Caesar salad wrap with kale and swapped chicken for tofu. It was pretty good, and I appreciate their flexibility with the vegetarian options.

This is a cute little spot in the Pruneyard that I have been to a couple of times now. Went in today and the service was fast, friendly, and included a discount for wearing green on St. Patrick's Day ! I had the tikka masala bowl, which was flavorful (but lacked even a hint of spice). The concept is a good one, if you think of the flavors as being inspired by their namesake, rather than expecting too much authenticity. Once you do this, it's easier to appreciate the fresh, healthy, delicious bowls and 'wrapps' they offer. Please forgive the terrible picture, the bowl was much more appetizing than it looks after mixing everything together and eating most of it!

It had been a longtime since I'd been to World Wrapps and I'd never been to the one in the Pruneyard before, so it was a nice date night stop with the hubby after perusing Sports Basement for a while. The food menu has changed drastically since the last time I'd been to the one World Wrapps we'd had for forever in Santa Clara by the AMC Mercado theater. We shared the Tikka fries and I got the poke wrap, which was essentially a sushirrito. Everything was delicious. The poke was tasty, the rice in it was soft, and the tikka fries were covered in delicious tikka sauce. All in all, tasty and great, friendly service.

Do not sleep on this fast casual spot for a hearty, healthy, and delicious meal. Firstly, the service here is second to none. They are TRIPPING over themselves to get you whatever you need and to make sure your food is what you wanted. The vegetarian and vegan options are extensive, especially because you are able to mix and match with the various bowls and wraps. Love the Beyond meat option!

Can't believe tho place exists! I used to go to a world wraps in Burlingame a loooong time go, and was shocked to see this at the pruneyard. Such a great menu of options, you can customize your protein, chicken, steak, salmon, and meatless options! Tons of opportunity to customize your meal We got the salmon wrap and patatas bravas! So yummy!

Absolutely delicious Caesar wrap and so filling! Grabbed take out quickly in between meetings when visiting the area and was pleasantly surprised. Food was fast and their menu is extensive. Would love to visit again and try something else!

Ordered: Watermelon aguafresca -a bit watered down. Chicken shawerma bowl -great meat portion and tasted fresh. I rarely finish my salad but I did this time because it was really tasty. Good service, attentive young lady was a cashier, and server was a kind man, brought the food and asked if I needed anything else. Vibe was ok, kinda like Aqui's but quieter. Parking was ok, gets busy around 4pm on weekdays

I enjoyed the chicken shawarma bowl as it came drenched in their sauce. The bowl felt fresh and was just the right portion. Price was not too bad either. Service was good and the ambiance was clean and modern. They had interesting selections including Mexican, Japanese, and Mediterranean options. They also have a kid's menu. There are no restrooms here and only a water dispenser was available. Parking is in the Pruneyard and this restaurant faces the street side.

I had a strong craving for a Caesar chicken wrap and this was my closet option. I've never been to a world wrapp so I gave it a try. Their Caesar wrap is actually pretty good. Big croutons for texture, chicken is thigh meat I think so very tender and pretty flavorful, and the lettuce was fresh. Only critique would be to add more dressing but that's just my preference. My partner got their Thai chicken wrap and it was pretty good as well. The peanut dressing isn't too over powering and all the veggies were fresh. Good ratios between the rice and everything else. I would likely come back for another caesar wrap but add an extra side of dressing.

I would have given this 5 stars if not fir the fact that my husband got food poisoning after eating here. Yeah I still gave it 4 stars:). Don't want to start the new year on a low note! I ordered the tofu chimichurri wrap which was delicious though it needed a bit more sauce. The person who came to check if we liked the food offered one and I chose the garlic aioli. Made it better. Husband got the beyond quesadilla. It was absolutely delicious in taste but I dont know whether it was the mushrooms in it or the beyond meat was not cooked properly which made him sick. Value wise it's amazing as portion sizes are decent to big.

Great fresh food - loved the bowls. I got the bulgogi steak with vegan meat. They customized it for me by skipping rice and adding more salad leaves instead. The aioli and dressing was yummy! Tamago was bit sweet for my liking but overall a great bowl. Love the outdoor seating!

You can definitely split plates here as the portions are big. We ordered the falafels, baba ganoush, chicken souvlaki plate and the gyro plate. We will be adding this one to our rotation!

1st time here. A friend invited me to join her, and said it was where many of her co-workers ate…read more The short version is: my meal was very sub-par, and way over-priced. The details: I normally don't eat a lot of meat, so I chose the Falafel Salad. It came with extremely little lettuce, plus a few olives (which I don't eat), onions (which I also eat sparingly), tomatoes, cucumbers, and the falafel balls. Oh! And there was feta cheese, but those were such miniscule pieces, and so few, that I wouldn't have remembered it was supposed to be part of the salad, if I didn't just pull up a photo online with their ordering system. What you see in the photo online is not what you get. The photo actually looks like a salad. Since it was called a salad, I expected there to be more lettuce, than the few pieces on the plate. I mainly was cutting up the cucumber & tomato pieces to go with the falafels. I don't even recall any dressing. There were also some pita slices with what I assumed was hummus. Whatever the dip was, it did not taste good to me at all. So I left all of the pita bread, as well, since it was dry without anything on it. Maybe what I assumed was hummus was a dressing. Hard to know, but it was not tasty. For the $27 I paid at a walk up counter, I would have expected much better food! I have bought frozen falafels at Lunardis (around $7) and made a salad for them at home, and enjoyed it very much, which is why I ordered it. I have purchased Spanakopita at the store many times, (about $5 for around 12 of them at the store) and made them at home, which is why I didn't order that. The falafel salad was not an enjoyable meal for me at Yiassoo's. I'd also seen some reviews from a few years back that said they paid around $10 or $11 for their meal. That is more in-line price-wise with what you get, based upon my meal. With most of the meals around $20 for lunch, I feel they were very over-priced. I also asked my friend if she'd like to split a Baklava. They had a pistachio one & chocolate one. My friend wanted to try the chocolate one, so I bought that. I didn't think I was too into baklava, but thought it might be nice to try at this highly rated Greek restaurant. The main flavor that came through was the honey & nuts. The chocolate was just a tiny, narrow drizzle on top. I didn't hate it, but I would never order it again. My friend took one bite, and said she mainly tasted the honey, and would take it home for her husband. It may be very good baklava, but it was not to our tastes. My friend ordered the Gyro salad. It had a large pile of shaved meat, and she seemed to enjoy it. She ordered it To-Go, as she knew she'd be taking some of it home. She seemed to have more lettuce under her pile of meat than my meal got. Maybe because it was in a To-Go box, which might be larger than the plate? Or maybe the person making my salad just wasn't paying attention to how to make a decent meal. I was hoping I was trying a restaurant that I could go back to for something different. Based upon my experience, I would not go back, if I had a choice. I gave it 3 stars, because maybe other dishes, or people looking to just eat meat or falafel balls and not much else would enjoy it. I only have the 1 meal to review, but it does not encourage me to try it again. Overpriced & not a fulfilling meal.

The inside is nicely decorated with pictures of famous places in Greece. It's not huge inside but cozy with several tables for inside seating as well as a patio outside for outdoor seating. You can scan the QR code at your table or order at the front counter. We ordered from the front counter. We ordered the highly recommended Mousaka, the 3 piece plate with a side of green Greek salad. We chose the chicken skewer, pork skewer, and bifteki for our 3 meat choices as well as an order of Spanikopita. Our food was delivered to our table promptly. I grew up eating my Mom's Mousaka and I've eaten it in Athens, Naxos and Santorini. Let me tell you, their Mousaka was excellent. The eggplant, potato, meat filling and béchamel on the top were perfect. It's definitely a must try. The three skewers of meat were so flavorful and juicy. Both my husband and I loved it!! The pita bread it came with so warm and soft. The Spanikopita was fresh and hot. Delicious flaky phyllo dough with a savory spinach interior. The salads that came with each dish were also wonderful. Their feta on the top was so good and I loved the Kalamata olives. Customer service here was great. The young lady that helped us when we ordered was very friendly and helpful. It started getting busy inside while we were eating and I can see why. This is delicious homemade Greek food made from the heart. We will be coming here more often, now that we know about this place. There are many other things we are looking forward to trying.

Unfortunately, the chicken and beef were lacking in flavor and were pretty dry. The portions were generous, though the gyro beef was sliced pretty thin. The veggies were actually fresh, which was a plus. The hummus was on the lighter side flavor-wise, while the Baha Ghanouj had a solid roasted aftertaste. The Achilles spread was... interesting. It was very fatty with a garlic aftertaste. It just wasn't my thang. The waffle fries were cool. They were fried well and had a good crunch, but nothing special. We've found Manakish Oven to be a solid Mediterranean food place with good portions for the price. Over the times that we've visited, we've tried their manakish, shawarma bowls, shawarma wraps, and baklava. - Manakish - We've tried their lahm bajin and their tri tip shawarma manakish. Their lahm bajin manakish is a classic/more traditional manakish. Their ingredient list may seem simple, but it's full of good flavors and they do not skimp on the toppings. Their tri tip shawarma manakish is something we'd recommend if you're not feeling to adventurous and want to stick with more basic/modern flavors. They also don't skimp on the toppings with this one. Expect the manakish to be thin like NY thin crust pizza, but maybe more soft/doughy. Portion-wise, one manakish can probably be 1-2 people, unless you're super hungry. - Shawarma bowls - We've tried their tri tip shawarma bowls. Each bowl is loaded with a good portion of rice, meat, salad, and pickles. There's definitely enough meat to pair with each spoonful of rice. The bowls are again, very flavorful and not too oily, which I appreciate. - Shawarma wraps - We've tried their tri tip shawarma wraps. Each wrap is filled with similar ingredients in the tri tip shawarma bowl and manakish, except it's in a wrapped form. The wrap is still loaded with good flavor with every bite. We've always had ours paired with a side of fries. Their fries taste fresh and doesn't have a hint of being frozen/previously frozen. - Baklava - We've tried their pistachio and walnut baklava. Even though the baklava is sitting in the dessert fridge, each piece tasted fresh. The phyllo dough was still fluffy with many layers even tough it was full of honey (yum!). They have a lot of seating indoors and some seating outdoors. If you're waiting for your to-go orders, they have water available. They also have a restroom for customers. All the times that we've picked up food, the restaurant has been kept very clean and neat. They have a small parking lot, and we've usually been able to snag a spot (except one time). Other parking options are street parking on the same side of the store or opposite the store (in the residential area or near the Salvation Army Thrift Store).

The food and service here never disappoint. I've been a frequent customer since 2009, and was…read morehooked at first bite with their beef kebab sandwich. Every dish is seasoned perfectly and not overly salted. I've tried just about everything on the menu and the meat is always tender. Vegetables here are top quality as well, which compliments the dishes nicely. And the green yogurt sauce is spicy! In a good way. I usually order an extra with the biryani plates, because *some* is just never enough. Their mango lassi is super mango-ey. I don't know what kind of mangoes go into this drink, but it has the most sweet, tart, and ripe fruitiness (emphasis on fruitiness), and the yogurt in it adds good balance. Perfect drink. There is a good variety of items to choose from, so I don't get bored eating here. You can tell everything is cooked fresh on a daily basis as well. Don't sleep on the desserts either. After trying baklava at many restaurants around San Jose, I regard Gulzaar Halaal's as my personal favorite. Crispy layers, firm yet chewy bottom, and never stale. Perfect balance of sweet, nutty and spiced. My favorite dessert though has to be Kanafeh. Soft-ish, melty sweet cheese (with rose water, I think?). Ask for it warmed. I've always felt relaxed when eating in the restaurant. Tables are frequently cleaned. The owner is very attentive, making sure customers are happy with everything. Their interactions with people are always very respectful and kind. Last but not least, the bathroom is clean, neat and tidy.
