We came in today (July 4th) and ordered the number 12,13, and 33. The food was tasty and came out decently quick. We would return!

Chicken thigh and Kashk badejeman
Tammy Y.

Delicious Persian food. A little pricey but I think the food quality is worth it and the portions are generous so my family of 4 only usually orders 3 dishes and has leftovers. Our favorites are the Kashk badejeman (grilled pureed eggplant), the chicken kebabs, and the ground beef Kebab. If you get the plates with rice, the rice is delicious as it comes with saffron rice and is seasoned very well (not sure if they add butter or what but its so yummy). They give a generous serving of complimentary lavash (thin flat bread) that comes with butter that is perfect to eat everything with.

Kabob plate

Fool me once , shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. The waiting time for the food is incredible long, for standard dishes - koobideh and white rice.. you're looking at 30 mins-1 hour minimum no matter how empty the restaurant is. Staff literally ignores you... no matter if you make eye contact, or flag them down. We sat down a party of 3 at a table or 4 and the host literally removed my place mat , plate, and utensils from right in front of me... instead of grabbing the setup from the empty seat.. wtf? Appetizer of yogurt took 30 mins to be handed to us. Ridiculous. Sticking with taste of Persia, or Negeen.

Koobideh with albaloo polo; shish kabob; Ash Reshte
Leyla H.

We had a very juicy koobideh here. The shish kabob was also delicious but smaller than expected. Ash reshteh was more like a bean soup and less like what you'd expect from ash. The service was just a bit slow for the three or four tables they were serving then. We enjoyed the overall ambiance and liked the friendly staff. We will certainly go back.

had a wonderful time at Yas Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, with vibrant flavors and top-notch quality. The prices were very fair for the fantastic dining experience we had. Friendly but poor service. Waited about 8 minutes before anyone seated me then waited while the only staff helped b the person behind me. About 15 minutes before I was brought a menu and over 20 water was brought. I walked outside to retrieve my own water bottle. food was meh. I remember coming here over 5 years ago and the food was great. filet was tender but dry and over cooked, but maybe that's their new recipe. the food looks good but there taste is meh. I sadly would not recommend when there are so many other options in the area.

I am new to the area and stumbled on this gem. I feel like they opened their home kitchen to the public! Excellent Food! Highly Recommended.

The wait time was insanely long for no one in the restaurant. We waited over an hour for 1 entree.

I came into the restaurant asking how long my order would take, she said 10 minutes. Although there were chairs and tables under an eave, I chose to go to the car. Faviola brought the food to me and it was sprinkling outside! She even came back and gave us extra utensils when she realized there were two of us. All the while smiling:) I ordered via yelp because we were starving and easily this restaurant has their menu in organized and visually appealing. Their descriptions and the variety of selections and customizations on point. My husband said he wasn't hungry but then saw the food and we scarfed it all down. He gave it 8.5 and said would come back. I ordered pickled vegetables which I thought was going to be onions but I think it's actually cabbage. Not my preference so I will take that home to the parents. Did order yogurt dip- husband was a fan. The chicken thigh and filet were so tender. I had put a note on the order for medium rare. I wouldn't call that medium rare but it was tender nonetheless. I'm sad I had to pay extra for a half of a Roma tomato, salad and lavash- the lavash I saw it in the add-ons menu so I assumed it wasn't in there. Ended up with so much lavash. No need to buy extra. The entire thing came up to $63-ish. The food was 4/5 but service was 5/5! I know this economy has everyone struggling. This was probably the most I have spent on Mediterranean food. I would have expected $45-$50. We just came back from Turkey so this would have costed us $15-$20 USD. Portions for rice and meat were good though! All in all- would come back!

I understand people may be ok with that, but not for me. They said they can cook it but will be 35 to 40 minutes and we said that is perfectly fine and understood. But 20 minutes in, the Chef came in gracefully to share that he can't cook it, and he will bring it now, and if we slice it and don't like it, he can then cook the slices. Me and my son thought that we should be able to eat it, even if it was a bit on the rare side, and we did. It wasn't the perfect situation for us, which is the 3 stars, but it wasn't bad. Moral of the story, if you like your tomahawk cooked in one piece, this is not the place for you. For me if it is slices, then it is no longer tomahawk but rather sliced steaks and that's not why I am here. Will we go there again? Most probably, but 100% not for tomahawk.

All of it was so delicious but my favorite one has to be the Beef Koobideh. It was juicy and fatty, perfect pairing with the acidity of the tomato and onions. The Chicken Breast kebab was also surprisingly juicy considering the leanness of the meat. This dish also came with a Persian yogurt sauce which my mom really loved. There is a large parking lot in front that is shared with other businesses in that shopping center. We were warmly greeted when we walked in and were shown to a lovely table. It's got a very classy vibe inside with beautiful artificial floral trees and artwork on the walls. The menu has a nice variety of food. We decided to try the Kashke Bademjan, for our appetizer. This is an eggplant puree with caramelized onions, tahini sauce and mint. It is served warm with fresh pita bread. For our mains we ordered a Greek salad to share, the filet mignon kabob plate and the filet mignon & chicken combination plate. Our appetizer came out first. The Kashke Bademjan arrived warm with piping hot pita bread. There was also a small tray of hummus on the platter. The Kashke Bademjan had such a wonderful flavor. It was warm and comforting. I highly recommend trying this. The hummus was nice. The bread was fresh and hot...so delicious with both dips. Our salad and entrees came out next. The food was served on these circular large metal platters. I couldn't believe how big the portions were and how beautifully the dishes were presented. The Greek salad was also huge. The filet mignon kabobs were delicious, moist and so flavorful. I chose the whir me for the chicken and it was perfectly moist and bursting with flavor. Both my husband and I enjoyed it. Each plate came with basmati saffron rice with a grilled tomato and salad. The rice was fluffy, moist and flavorful. Very fresh and hot. The salad was a nice touch and the grilled tomato was so juicy. There was so much food that we didn't even touch the Greek salad. We ended up with a lot of leftovers, which we didn't mind. I could tell this was a family run business. So much love and detail was put in to each item we ordered. We had excellent customer service. Towards the end of our meal, the owner (the matriarch of the family) came by to ask how are food was. She was so sweet and hospitable. I really loved that. I noticed she went to every single table and checked on everyone. We will definitely be returning, especially for the Kashke Bademjan. I also look forward to trying their other Persian specialties.

The restaurant itself is huge, they have a big shaded outdoor area that can host events, an indoor event area, big dining area, bar and multiple big flat screen tvs to watch the World Cup. After ordering, they gave us some nice warm bread, I think it's called sabzi khordan. It came with some butter, thai basil and raw onions. The bread had a firm outside but fluffy inside, very good. For the main dishes, the shahsavar ghormeh sabzi with meat is a dish we saw recommended on multiple platforms (i.e yelp, reddit, google) to try. It is a dish made with beef, herbs, kidney beans, sundried limes, parsley, green onion, leek, fenugreek, salt and pepper. This is not a familiar flavor to us, but it was still enjoyable. The beef was tender, kidney beans were not overcooked, had a slight tart taste but went well with the rice they had. The rice was regular basmati rice and saffron rice mixed together. The portion size was big. The shiraz lamb shank with baghali polo is a lamb shank served with dill and saffron rice. The lamb was nice and tender, cooked well. The juices from the lamb shank soaked into the rice which was very nice. The portion size was also big. Since we were at a persian restaurant, we usually also get a skewer of some sort to try. We got one isfahan koobideh kabob which is a ground beef skewer. It was fine. Overall, the food here is quite good with generous portions, will be back again to try other dishes.
