(3.5 STARS) I used to love to get Poké House. Although I think they are slightly more expensive than I remember, as my medium bowl came out to $21 ish without at premium toppings. A bit steep.. Overall the food was portioned excellently. I will say I would prefer if they gave more than 1 wasabi pack. They used to scoop the wasabi like ice cream here! :/ I normally get the spicy tuna, but something about it was off to me. It felt more sour than it usually does, so I'll skip next time. Is it the best poké I've had in my life? No, not really. But will I return? Yes, the convenience is what makes me come back. read more

I went for their promotion where if you download the app, you get a free medium bowl. Marisol helped us out and she was so sweet. They were swamped with online orders on top of a long line of people in the store but the service was still great. I ended up getting all shrimp for my protein. Even though almost everyone in line claimed free bowls, they gave the normal servings for protein scoops. Will be coming back for their service! read more

Used to be a regular here, but this place is very unhygienic and quality is decreasing. February was the last time I actually ordered. The rice was the most disgusting rice I have ever had in my life. It looked and tasted like it was days old rice. I tried giving them another chance so I walked in this time. I saw the girl behind the counter with name starting with M scratch the bottom of her scalp aggressively with gloves and proceed to prepare food. I walked right out of there. The employees don't follow basic safe food handling procedures. read more

No utensils. Poke House is affiliated with Door Dash so I ordered a Poke Bowl for delivery. Respectfully, how am I supposed to eat a delivered Poke Bowl with no utensils. I actually added "Please include chop sticks" in the special comments section of my online order. I walked to 7 Eleven to get a fork, and the food tasted nice. Did I have an extra 20 minutes to walk to that. Not really. Please try harder. read more

Usually our go to for poke since it's close and that we can do an online order for pickup. They have a ton of toppings and the fish always taste fresh. I like that they offer a free scoop of krab salad in each bowl. Lots of different sauces so you can always try something new. The parking lot is small though and seems to always be packed so that's one thing to be mindful of. One time they did forget to sauce one of my bowls but that's been the only hiccup that we've experienced with this place. read more

I had a disappointing experience today. The employee who took my order "Lara" was rude and didn't seem welcoming. What stood out the most was how she handled the food. She was throwing the serving utensils into the ingredient containers after each scoop including the spicy tuna, cucumbers, and even the sauce ladles. It came across as careless and unprofessional especially when preparing someone's food. I understand places have their own serving procedures but the way the food was handled and the overall attitude made for a poor customer experience. read more

Decided to try out Poke House via doordash pick up order. Two of us ordered: -one large poke ball -one small poke bowl -one miso soup Starters...miso soup was not in our order. I thought it was a bit odd that it was left out since they weren't busy. Or if they ran out, they could have said something. Had to spend some more time with Doordash to get a refund for it. All the fish and toppings tasted about the same. Not the freshest fish for sure. We had stomach aches later that night and rolling over into the morning. Overall, on the bland side. We decided to check out this location for lunch since we had good experiences with the palo alto location. At first bat the tuna looked questionable, and im glad we were able to get a sample because it was definitely stringy... that's the con with tuna though its rare for it to be fresh anywhere in the bay area. Anyway I went with salmon and enjoyed my bowl, I liked the numerous topping choices especially the fruit (mango and pineapple) and wasabi. Giving a 3 stars because my partner's bowl was a little bland even though he got the pre seasoned salmon... I think we enjoyed the palo alto location better read more

I came into this store for the first time around a week ago. I've never had poke before and was unsure how everything worked. I got greeted by Kevin and he explained how everything worked and had a great personality and attitude while serving me. Dasia helped me next with the sauces and checked me out and also was very well spoken and had great recommendations. Pretty bummed with my order this time around. I used to come here often pre-pandemic... so it's odd to see how the quality has gone down hill. I ordered a BYO bowl with Scottish Salmon, Brown Rice, Almonds. Crab Salad, and various veggies.... Everything tasted perfectly fine. The mangos were sweet, cucumbers were fresh, and the fish quality was good! Then I got to the brown rice... it was HARD!! Literally unedible. I ended up picking out everything out of the rice. Poke House is my favorite and have been to a handful of locations. On a very hot day, poke hit the spot and this location packed in the ingredients. Fairly large seating inside and lots of folks coming in especially for pickup orders. The parking lot here is quite tight so come at an off peak time to nab some parking. read more

Despite being the only ones in line just before 2 pm everything was SUPER messy. This was 1/3 stations and the other ones were much worse. Had lunch here yesterday and it was very filling. They are located in a small strip mall with a small parking lot. We got the last available parking spot. We ordered two medium size poke bowls. Customer service was good. Both bowls were packed full and they were very generous with the proteins. I loved all the options available, especially the my mango and pineapple options. My only complaint was that the spices tuna was crazy salty like it was soaked in soy sauce. We also ordered a drink. We were incorrectly charged for our drink. We talked to the employee about the incorrect charge and they fixed it with no problem. They are very kind employees. The inside was very clean with plenty of seating. Dasia and An were incredibly rude from the moment I walked in. The customer service was cold, unwelcoming, and it genuinely felt like they didn't want to be there or help anyone. On top of that, the portions they served were surprisingly small compared to what you'd expect, making the experience feel even more disappointing. The entire atmosphere in the store was uncomfortable--the employees made it obvious they hated their jobs, and that negativity carried over to the customers. Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt like I was inconveniencing them just by ordering. I understand everyone has bad days, but professionalism and basic courtesy go a long way. My go-to poke place in the South Bay. Build your own bowl with Salmon and imitation crab and throw in a bunch of extras like cucumber, hijiki seaweed, cabbage and edamame, add sriracha aioli and top it off with crispy onions, nori strips and furikake and you have one bomb of a poke bowl Parking can be a b!£@# in the tiny parking lot. read more

I've been craving Poké House ever since my trip to Monterey. Now that I finally got the chance to visit again, I went to the Winchester location. Unfortunately, the service was terrible, and the attitude of the worker was genuinely awkward and gut-wrenching. It was one of the most uncomfortable experiences I've had in a long time. Ordered from Too Good To Go, because I really hate food waste and thought we'd get a good deal on two chicken bowls. Just like a previous reviewer, (didn't see their review until after I picked up unfortunately) we feel very short changed and misled. $5 each (labeled at a $15 value) for a block of sushi rice and a little bit of chicken. We had to go to Safeway across the street and spend MORE money to actually make these things edible. Staff was friendly, but overall this experience put a bad taste in our mouths (pun intended). I've been here many times but tonight did not go so well. Nothing like being impaled by a fish bone in the back of your gums. You can literally see the blood. My husband also chomped on a huge bone, but luckily the bone didn't attack him. Whoever "de-boned" the salmon tonight needs to either be properly trained or not do it. A fish bone is one swallow away from an ER trip. Please do better, I don't feel like looking for a new poke spot! read more

My girlfriend ordered online for pick up for 2 small poke bowls around noon time on a Thursday. After picking it up and getting home, I realized that the bowl was made wrong. I had ordered my bowl with the crab salad and it was on the receipt but the bowl did not have it. Not only was it missing the free side of crab salad, the portion size was really small. This was in comparison to the other bowl we had ordered. I believe it was filled less than a third full. This was really upsetting... horrible read more

Really enjoyed my salmon bowl here. Everything tasted fresh and the portions are sure to satisfy. I love their house special chili sauce as well. It had a nice kick to it if you like spice. Staff were friendly and made some key recommendations of what they would add to their bowls. For myself, I would go with salad or rice next time instead of the zucchini noodles which was not my thing. I had the pasta with truffles and pesto and I loved it so much I ordered it again. I will order something by else next time! I was apparently influential and everyone at my table ordered the same lol My friends also ordered the pear and bursts salad and we shared the bruschetta both of which we really enjoyed. Not super stunning but the flavors were there. I ordered the steak which was a daily special, beautifully seasoned and charred to perfection, the steak cut fries with the weird green mint parsley concoction? Not so much. Not pictured was the Cacio e Pepe. Overly sauced like it was Alfredo. The cheese wheel part was fun but all gimmicks. Ultimately I'd love to give places another try because it's usually an off day sometimes but there was definitely just more attentive and care for other parties that just made me not want to come back.

Everything we ordered was delicious, but ofc the standout item was definitely the soy-marinated raw crab. I've never had soy crab that tasted sooo fresh (and not fishy either!). It paired perfectly with the side of rice, which helped balance out the saltiness of the dish. Despite the long wait to get in (maybe 20-30 minutes for us), our food came out almost immediately after ordering, which was much appreciated. We also tried other items like their bossam and bibim naengmyeon, which were both nice and refreshing. Service was great! We all walked away feeling super satisfied with the meal. I'd definitely encourage coming closer to their opening time if you're not as interested in waiting in a long line.

Yes! This place is great! I've been coming here for a few years now. It's basically a poke Chipotle (ie make your own poke) place. They have a few varieties of protein, lots of vegetables, and lots of sauces that can be mixed and matched. It's great! The fish is supposedly fresh except on Sundays (which is a day I came on, boo), and the vegetables tasted fresh as well. It was great! It's definitely worth the price for the quantity served. You get 3 scoops of fish (although the scoops are small), but you can pile as much vegetables as you want on top. I got half rice half salad as my base, which was great. It was somewhat odd eating warm salad though. I would recommend this place, and I'll definitely keep coming back! Come on off-peak hours though, otherwise you might need to wait and have trouble parking (it shares a parking lot with a bunch of other places in the plaza, and the parking lot is always packed during peak hours). read more

I am writing this review after my wife has had a terrible experience at this place. When she asked few times to add items to her order, the serve told her "to zip her mouth" and left without completing the order. She she said that she will complain, the server said that he doesn't care. I hope that the owner of this business will check the surveillance video at around 8:450pm on Sunday to have a good picture how his employee treat customers with young children. I will wait for a day to get a response before moving on to the next step as I know this business inside out with its vulnerability and I hope I don't have to go down that route as this situation is just requires a reprimand of the employee and apologies to the customer, who came late night to buy food for the family. They also forgot to put sauces and forks in the bag. read more

Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant dining experience at the restaurant today. The quality of the food was quite disappointing. The lettuce was old and slimy, and the tuna was dry and hard. They failed to include the side sauces I had specifically requested. Regrettably, we suffered from instant stomach discomfort after consuming the meal. Perhaps this was a result of opting for delivery instead of dining in. I would advise potential patrons to visit the establishment in person to observe the ingredients being used in their dishes. read more

Tried Poke House recently and overall had a solid experience. The ingredients were fresh and the flavors came together nicely, and definitely satisfying if you're craving a poke bowl. That said, it's on the pricier side, and I found myself wishing the portions were a bit more generous for the price. Still, the quality was there, and the variety of toppings and sauces made for a well-balanced bowl. Not bad at all. I'd come back for a quick, clean meal, just maybe hoping for a little more next time! read more

We went to buy food. The service was great, but when we were paying, a employee got in without a mask. My friend and I were very angry because everybody is taking care of each other, using mask to get in to the restaurant, and this guy didn't even have a mask. If he doesn't use his mask working, he doesn't use it anywhere. My friend spoke to the person in charge, he told him that he was going to talk to him. read more

Used to be so much better, but serving sizes are smaller now and they took seared ahi off the menu which was my favorite. I never used to be able to completely eat a small, but today's barely satisfied. As for other ingredients, lots to choose from and all tasty. Sauces are good too. I usually get the medium poke bowl, the large is to much for one person, and I get the avocado with it which makes it taste that much better. I really like the crab salad and seaweed salad that come with it, it a must have for every order, I highly recommend it. My Favorite is the salmon, and shrimp. read more
