When we came out the driver was very cordial and also helpful in getting everything that we needed for the entire day loaded into the sprinter that we rented. The sprinter was very clean and up-to-date. Once we were all loaded into the sprinter the driver got us to the arena very safely and early. During the day we went to several stops before returning home later that night. The entire day was absolutely perfect thanks to DC path and our driver. The driver called and communicated all day long during different drop offs and activities that the family had throughout the day. The Google and your reviews really don't do DC path Justice as they definitely deserve a 10-star rating for providing great customer service, effective communication, excellent vehicle options, and pricing. The same can be said if you are going home from the airport. Our driver started getting bitchy and his attitude got worse. He was rude to several passengers and ended up getting lost. One passager wished us the best of luck as she got out of the vichele. She did not tip the guy. A middle finger is what he got. When we finally got to our second home, we did not tip the guy either. When the drive acts like an ass and tell you to "shut the front foor." a royal ass wipping came mind. My short temper remained in tacked, but oh it would have been nice to watch him fly through the air and come down hard upon a bear. The bear would get mad and Jack would get off...okay I am losing sight of what I was talking about. From the initial on-line contact to get a price quote there was a response from Jacob by email within thirty minutes requesting more detail about pick up/drop off locations, time and number of passengers. The communication was excellent (from beginning to end) and the responsiveness was very impressive. Our superb driver Charles arrived about an hour early (which was great as many of the 14 adults using the Sprinter Van transportation had already arrived). The driver was caring, responsive, generous and had the Sprinter Van A/C cranked up and the van spotless inside and out. The driver's kindness and driving skills was remarkable in all of the passenger's opinion. He went out of his way to accommodate us. Our HS children used another transportation service (booked prior to the adults deciding to use transportation as well). There service was horrible. He was thirty minutes late for pick up, the Party Bus had no air conditioning (it was 90 some degrees for the one hour ride), had no working speakers, driver smelled of marijuana, drove erratically and did little to in regards to service. When we heard about this we terminated their service after the 1 hour of the 6 hours booked for the evening. Our driver Charles of Shalom Transportation, upon our request, took immediate action by contacting Jacob who was polite and generous and provided us with an impromptu remedy by providing our children with alternative transportation on the spot and the report from our HS children was that the service and transportation vehicle was excellent. David, Shalom's dispatcher, immediately stepped in to action (thank you) and provided immediate communication by text and our adjusted bill by email. From the beginning, the driver was late which put the family in panic mode. They had lots of luggage that needed to be loaded and the driver showed up 8 minutes late, which caused unneeded stress. Calls to customer service to check on the car were immediately put on hold and then disconnected. Rather than putting the family at ease, the dispatcher was rude, sarcastic, and dismissive and ruined the ride for the family. I later spoke with the manager & owner, thinking they would make it right, but instead, they made excuses and dismissed the complaints & concerns as "things that happen". The fact that this company puts themselves first before their customers and makes excuses for their own actions, speaks volumes about their lack of customer service & satisfaction.
