I happened on Dulles Coach Services when they were advertising the DC-New York trip and was relieved to have found a car service that could actually take us to NY on our schedule (and was actually less expensive than taking the train if you're paying for two tickets). Joe was immediately responsive when I first contacted him, and answered all my questions promptly. He was communicative throughout the time I was considering booking the service and offered to do a round-trip on a weekday, since we were only going to be there for a couple of hours at most. He confirmed the night before and texted me when he arrived at our place. He arrived promptly on the day of our trip, and the car was very clean with a sleek, spotless interior. There were a couple of bottles of water and it was clear that the car was kept clean, a relief as my wife is very prone to illness. He kept the car nicely air-conditioned the whole trip, and was very personable. The trip was smooth and even, and we got to New York early even though we hit traffic once we got to Manhattan. The car is very quiet and Joe is a very safe and smooth driver. Joe dropped us off and told us to call or text him when we were done, and he would pick us up. We were done earlier than expected, but Joe left straightaway to pick us up. The ride home was also smooth and quicker than I expected. Overall, the trip went much better than I thought a drive to NY could be. We are definitely going to use them again any time we need to go to NY, and I imagine the service would be just as excellent for shorter trips, like airport drop-offs and pick-ups and anything else. The trip to NY in Joe's sedan is much, much better than any train trip or plane ride to NY I've ever taken, much more comfortable and much cleaner. I scheduled car service with this company more than a month in advance. The night before my ride…read morewas scheduled, I called the company to confirm the ride. No one picked up so I left a message. Someone returned my call within a half hour however I was informed that the car service I had scheduled the next day (I was to be picked up at 6:00am for a 9:00am flight) was canceled. The man on the phone with a British accent informed me that his drivers could not get out of the snow. Mind you, the day before it had snowed and the roads were pretty clear. With less than 6 hours to my scheduled ride, I had to scramble to secure another means of transportation to Dulles Airport from Washington, DC. I was unsuccessful and missed my flight. I would NEVER do business with this company again. They are unprofessional and did not even have the courtesy to give me a call or send me an email informing me that my ride was canceled. I understand that inclement weather was involved but that was a whole 24 hours earlier and the weather was clear enough so that my international flight was not canceled. Unfortunately I didn't make it on the flight. I didn't get as much as an apology.
