I really wanted to enjoy this experience, but unfortunately it was very disappointing. The air conditioning on the bus was not working, making it extremely hot inside. We had to use our own personal fans just to stay somewhat comfortable. When I brought the issue to the owner's attention and simply asked if the A/C could be fixed, he responded by threatening to end our trip and leave us stranded. That response was completely unprofessional and made an already frustrating situation even worse. To make matters worse, the driver also arrived late, which nearly caused us to miss our event. Overall, this experience fell far below what I expected, and I would not recommend this service based on how these issues were handled. I made a reservation for a party bus for 35 people for my daughter's school graduation. Not only was the bus 40 minutes late completely messing up my schedule and itinerary but they sent me a bus that absolutely did not fit the 35 people. Lots of the kids didn't have a seat and had to ride standing up. I texted Robert and sent him video and photo of the crowded bus and he completely ignored me, this was Saturday still haven't heard back. Cannot recommend. Showed up 30 minutes late and took the kids to the Lincoln Memorial in DC. When the kids went to get back on the bus, the bus doors were broken and wouldn't open to let them get back on. Took half an hour to bust them open with the help of some other bus operators. They ran out of time to visit any other monuments, so the rest of their pre-prom plans were ruined. Once they got to prom, they couldn't get off the, by now, VERY HOT bus because the doors were stuck shut and the AC wasn't working.The kids had to climb out the emergency exit window in their formal wear. I wish I were kidding. Only saving grace was that we were refunded entirely and that the owner, Robert, was nice to work with. However, I don't think this was the first time this has happened and he plays around on here pretending that people never used his company when they give bad reviews. That's dishonest. Beware. Do not rent the 20 person party bus. He should probably decommission it. I will happily remove this review if the owner lets me know he's taking some actions to avoid his bus showing up late and breaking down again, as it seems to do. Traffic is avoidable if you use Waze and plan properly. When the driver was late the owner kept telling me that he had left an hour earlier. Do NOT us this company! Robert was misleading, rude and offered the worst customer service. I called on a Saturday to book a 35-person bus, and he confirmed it was available. Told him on Monday that I wanted to confirm the booking and he said he was sending over the contract. On Tuesday, I called back because I never received the contract and he said it was no longer available. I was trying to see if there was another option, but he REFUSED to allow me to get a word in, spoke over me repeatedly and kept telling me to calm down. I was more upset that he was not allowing me get a word in to see what options there may be. He finally told me that I needed him more than he needed my business and hung up on me. My friends and I hired this company months in advance to take us to a concert this past weekend. First of all- the bus we reserved was not the bus that arrived to pick us up. Also, we reserved and paid for the bus to drive us to the concert and stay the entirety of the concert and then be there to take us home. We were informed a couple days in advance that it was just dropping us off and not actually staying which altered our plans tremendously. Then to top it off- our ride home was actually scary due to the erratic driving, the driver was tailing people, slamming on the breaks, and was generally unaware that we were being slung around in the back of the bus. read more

I rented the 20 person bus (which I didn't see on their website) for my birthday. The bus was spacious and clean. Robert was easy to work with and offered a great price compared to other companies. Bus showed up at pick up and the driver had to mop down the interior with a towel. As the afternoon went on the bus continued leaking from the emergency exit dousing several guests when the vehicle made turns. This was extremely evident when the driver missed the second stop not once but twice despite being provided the address and the location being marked with a rather large sign. The sound system did not work at pick up and the driver did not know how to set it up. It took half the trip to figure out what to do with it. When I approached the owner after the fact I was told that I and my guests were liars and he had video proof there was no leak. Would not recommend doing business with them. read more

Worst service ever. If I could give 0 stars, I would. On our prom night, I asked them to pick us up at 6:00 due to our dinner reservation at 6:30. They called me and said they were stuck in traffic and would not be able to pick us up until 6:30. I said oh okay that's fine and pushed our reservation to 7:00. Once it was 7, I called and they said they're close. We found out he was going to the old address i gave him. Even though I called 2 weeks before the event and he told me to email him the new address which i did. The only thing I am at fault here is not asking for a confirmation. He did tell me to email him and I did. Even if they were going to the right address, they would still be an hour+ late because the old address is only 10 minutes away from the new one. So, I had to push the reservation to 7:30 (Shoutout to Buca di beppo for being so understanding and allowing us to push back our reservation over and over again) Other parents started calling and yelling at the driver. He picked us up at 7:30. We got to the dinner and I asked for him to pick us up at 8:45 because the prom doors close at 9:30 and from the restaurant to prom is 30min ride. We had to eat in a hurry. Maybe if he picked us up on time we wouldnt have to rush. He texted me saying no 9:00 and I texted him about the circumstances as to why we can't show up late to prom. He kept negotiating time which was very unprofessional. He should be waiting outside every destination because we paid for his time so everything could be flexible but no he kept leaving us. At 9, we called him because he was still not there, he told us he was a minute away because he just went to an exit. How could he possibly a minute away when he just took an exit??? We got to prom at 10, we had to talk to the administrators and explain the situation, thank god they allowed us in. The only time he picked us up on time was after prom. They promised us 6hours of the bus and we only had it for about 4. If you're gonna pay a lot, this was definitely not worth it. Our group was so unsatisfied, we decided not to tip. The next morning I saw them charge my card $200 without my permission. They had to tip themselves. I called them and yelled at them and only refunded me my $200. I would also like to add that it was raining, meaning we had to wait outside in the cold for each destination. When we would call the driver he wouldn't answer sometimes. In one of our calls he told us to stop calling bc it ruins his navigation. He offered a 60% off next time. There is no next time. Definitely not worth $1166. I rented a party bus to take 30 kids to prom. On the evening of prom a party bus for 20 and a limo for 10 showed up in front of my house. The kids paid $40 per person to all go on a party bus together. It was really awkward determining who would get to ride on the bus and who had to go in the limo. In addition 15% gratuity was added without my consent and not included in the quote, so the $40 per kid wasn't even enough. This was a dishonest transaction all around. read more

Full situation (if you care to read): We ordered a party bus from this company for a dinner and post event. The party bus arrives to pick us up, takes us to dinner, no problem here. We leave the restaurant to come back to our bus and the company had sent a completely different bus. We ordered a PARTY bus, they had sent a CHARTER bus to come pick us up. We had more people than there were seats. We had paid for a completely different service. We speak to their "representative" named Tina, who was EXTREMELY rude. Her actions included yelling over the phone at me and using foul language to name a few. In the end she tells us we do not have a choice on the bus. So we were forced to take the sub-par bus to our event. We stop by somewhere to our event and please do not get me started. The driver was absolutely terrible. He got "stuck" in some small enterance area for about 20mins. We had to get off the bus to help the driver get out of the area. Completely under-qualified for his position. I can confidently say I think my pet dog could have avoided getting stuck and could've removed us from the situation in a timely manner. Even now, about four days later, are getting horrible customer service from the company. I believe we should not have to pay the full price that we did for the party bus and should be compensated since we were not provided with what we were promised under contract. update: Please see one of their comments on this post. He gave me a deal I couldn't beat, and met me promptly to check out the party bus. The party bus was well maintained and nice. All was well, until the night of the event. Sometimes you get what you pay for. It was my daughter's 21st birthday, and we planned a scavenger hunt in DC for her and her friends. The driver was prompt, but he began the evening on the wrong foot. The issues: 1. He asks if my daughter and her friends are rowdy kids who will smoke weed. WHAT?! I explained that I understand the concern, but no, and we will talk to everyone. He asks again. I explain my response again, and explain it is a better way to state the rules, w/o assuming since we are black, the guests will be belligerent and smoke weed. This man kept going back in forth with me, then my brother had to step in. Then he argues with him. It was to the point I had to call the owner. The owner calls and speaks with the driver. I say to the driver, Let's start over. I want this to be a good evening for my daughter." He says no. He told me he didn't want to talk to me because I called his boss. I am flabbergasted! You are being rude sir, your boss already spoke to you, I am a paying customer!! 2. He didn't want to pick us up and drop us off door -to- door. This man said it was traffic. It is also cold and drizzling. By the way, I am paying. I had to text his boss again. The owner had to talk with him again. 3. He tells my daughter (Birthday girl, guest, nothing to do with this) that I was mean to him and called his boss. I was pissed he even brought that to her. Overall, my brother and I bit our tongues to ensure my daughter had a great 21st birthday- which thank God she did-even though we were paying customers and the driver was wrong, wrong, wrong. If it wasn't for my daughter, I would have cancelled the whole thing. It is time for Omar (the driver) to retire, or learn how to communicate with various types of people, and learn to be professional and courteous. If he wasn't the driver. I used Party Bus R Us for my wedding, unfortunately. We had originally agreed to rent a party bus and even went out to see it before the wedding. That bus broke down the day before my wedding, so the owner subcontracted another company to provide a limo. On the day of the wedding, a different limo (Escalade) than was agreed upon (Hummer) showed up with a smaller seating capacity than what was promised. Part of my wedding party had to follow behind the limo in a separate car, which really ruined the four-hour tour of DC we had planned. When I asked for a refund, the owner refused to give even a portion of the money back even though he acknowledged that the limo was smaller than promised, claiming that it was the fault of the company he subcontracted through. He also tried to blame us, claiming that we should've refused the smaller limo as if that is an option on the day of your wedding. Very unpleasant experience. Would not recommend. read more
