She put together a seamless multi-city itinerary for five travelers, arranging three rooms in each city along with private drivers, transportation, guides, and tours. Every detail was thoughtfully handled, and the hotels were all well-appointed and comfortable. What stood out most was the excellent coordination between drivers and guides, which made the entire trip feel effortless. All our drivers were friendly, knowledgeable, punctual, and safe, which gave us great peace of mind throughout the journey. The Connoisseur app was also incredibly helpful, providing preparation information before the trip and clear daily itinerary details with specific timing. I highly recommend Katie Buckley of Connoisseur Travel to anyone looking for a well-organized, high-quality travel experience in Italy.

My experience began with a very pleasant phone conversation about my hopes to plan a Washington DC trip for my grandmother with Connoisseur Travel's assistance. It was followed by no communication, help, or results with airfare, hotel recommendations/bookings , or tours over a 2-week period. I contacted Connoisseur directly to notify them of the lack of service and professionalism I had experienced. They responded with apologies, detailed questions and statements about how they planned to rectify the situation, and ideas about my Washington DC trip. With reservations, I decided to give the new associate a second chance because she seemed genuinely apologetic and knowledgeable. 2 weeks later my trip had not moved forward with Connoisseur's help. I ended up booking and reserving everything on my own and the prices had gone up because of all the time that had passed. I foolishly did not reach out to any other travel companies and trusted this company to help me and they failed. I am posting this review because I hope it helps others that might find themselves in my situation.

Because it is daunting to plan a trip half-way around the world when there is only limited travel information available, I decided to use experts who have actually lived in South Africa AND know what it is like to be a tourist there. Everything fell into place from the airport pickup clear though my airport drop-off. In the process, I experienced the trip of a lifetime that far exceeded my expectations which included terrific guided tours of major visitor destinations, scrumptious accommodations, horseback riding through wine country, and a safari experience that knocked my socks off. Plus they made me realize that luxury was not beyond my pocketbook! Using Wild Life Safaris was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

I started off by telling her of our desire to go to Australia but with a stopover in either New Zealand or Europe. That's right Europe, because that's how most people get to Australia. Jennifer sent us some itineraries to review and then I wrote back saying what about Fiji, Shanghai and an around the world option which she researched. After a week of the back and forth of her sending me itineraries while I changed destinations and times, some based on her suggestions but a lot based on changes I thought were necessary the trip is booked. It was cheaper than what I found on my own. She also threw in information based on feedback from prior customers who'd gone to New Zealand that I wouldn't have thought of. Like what Auckland is like, that they drive on the opposite side of the street, etc. I would highly recommend her, she was friendly, efficient and it wasn't any more expensive then if I'd done it on my own, yet I didn't have to waste endless hours trying to put the trip together.

Learning about the enslaved craftsmen who helped build parts of the Capitol, including many of the stone columns and intricate details, adds an important perspective to the experience. Be prepared to go through security, and make sure you leave items like pocketknives or pepper spray behind... I learned that lesson the hard way! I highly recommend reserving your tickets ahead of time so you can avoid extra trips through security and make the most of your visit. It's amazing, but there is a right and wrong way to do this tour. Let me help you out: Go on to the website and get a tour lined up beforehand. You can show up without tickets, but you could end up waiting an hour or more. With the reservation, you breeze into your tour without the anxiety of waiting in a line to find out when you can go on the tour. I've done the line, and it's hit or miss. Get the res. The tour is FREE. This is an amazing service to the public and it's one of the truly fantastic things about DC. They could easily charge but they don't. The tour is excellent. It starts with a short video in a lovely auditorium where you get the full scope. I've seen this video now a dozen times and it's inspiring. Then you get broken up into 1 of 5 groups and assigned a docent who communicates over your own personal radio-headset. You don't see the actual chambers of congress on the tour, but this is something you can do on your own and sit in the gallery during an actual meeting of Congress, if you like. The Rotunda is impressive. The art is museum quality. The halls are hallowed. The information is extensive. Each docent does their tour a little different and they all impart so much information, you would literally need to be on the tour a dozen times to absorb it all. This is an A+ experience in DC and a must if you come to visit. And, frankly, going to the gallery is impressive for only about 20 seconds. You sit above and listen to the presentation of a bill and see a few famous members of our legislative branch, but after 10 minutes, it's exactly like watching C-SPAN. Literally. Go on this tour of the Capitol building. You'll walk away feeling you really saw something worth remembering.

I can't say enough good things about Oasis. They are very professional. They have two kinds of…read moreservices: 1) Getting you a visa from start to finish and 2) Simply taking your passport to the Chinese embassy for you since this is required to get a visa to visit China depending on which state you live in. (I live in Texas, which is one of the states assigned to the embassy in Washington, as opposed to one of the several consulates the Chinese government has in other cities.) My case was case #2--I had applied online for the visa (this can be a bit painful, depending on how much time you have, how much help you can get from others, and how well you understand the form instructions--if I had to do it over again, I might have gotten their start-to-finish service; it certainly would have saved me time) and gotten the go ahead from the embassy to bring in my passport. I signed up with Oasis on their website, filled out whatever they required, and paid the fee (about $60 for their services plus a little over $20 each way for FedEx second day service to take my passport to them and then get it back to me). They sent me a shipping label which I took with my passport and a couple of other things they wanted me to stick in the envelope (I don't quite remember what they were right now) and took it to my local FedEx store. They, then promptly took my passport to the embassy and got an estimated passport pick up date from the embassy. They went to the embassy on that date, picked up my passport and sent it to me. If I understand it correctly, I actually received it a day early (next day in stead of second day). Problems: Well, the instructions were not always obvious and I had to call them a couple of times to get clarification. Other than that, I was very impressed by their service and would highly recommend them.

Super stressful experience. I hired Oasis specifically so that someone was in my corner to hold my hand and give me good advice on the off-chance something went wrong with my application. Well, something went wrong with my application, the approval was delayed by the embassy, and I wasn't able to make my trip. The delay wasn't Oasis' fault - but the way they handled it added more stress to the situation instead of less. At first, I felt very comfortable with the company because their intake process was so streamlined and communication was proactive in the beginning. But when it became clear that my application may not be approved before my trip and I needed some extra help, I called them for advice, and it was clear they weren't invested in helping me figure it out. I would email the service line with a time-sensitive question, and not get a response or call back on time. I would ask the person handling my account to proactively update me on whether or not there was a change in my application, she said she would, but never did - not once, over the course of two weeks. I had to call and chase for every update. When I decided to cancel the application, they didn't notify me when they received my passport back from the embassy, and they didn't notify me when they sent my passport back to me, so I had no idea that a delivery was coming. There's more, but you get the idea. Seemed clear that these people have one streamlined process, and if your case falls outside the bounds of the process, they de-prioritize you.

Our small software company has worked with VisaPro over the last 10 years for help with H1-B visas,…read moreGreen Card applications and other employment-related immigration matters. They've been fantastic to work with, and I recommend them without reservations. Here's some of things that make them so effective. (1) Deep understanding of the employment immigration system and the criteria for successful acceptance of your applications. They will work with you to refine your application to highlight the appropriate areas, demonstrate how they meet the required criteria, and provide a clear path for USCIS to approve the application. (2) An online portal for document management, with logins for employer and the employee. This is used to share key documents and provide feedback, allowing you to see where you are at each step. (3) Availability for answering questions and providing guidance. We have sent resumes to VisaPro for potential employees, asking them for advice on what type of visa would be appropriate. We have held detailed discussions on particular applications. We have also requested advice on employees who were leaving our firm in the middle of the process. In all cases, we have found them to be responsive and knowledgeable. (4) A clear and transparent pricing scheme. Generally, there are fixed fees for certain types of applications, with additional costs if the application goes into a second round. We've found the fees to be very reasonable. Our typical process with VisaPro with a new employee case has been (a) Upfront conversation between our firm, the employee, and lawyer (b) VisaPro tells us what documents to gather, has us fill out a matrix of job responsibilities and skills (c) VisaPro compiles the application and send it to us for review, with specific instructions on what to sign, what checks to include, etc. In cases where the USCIS returns a Request for Evidence (RFE), asking for more details, they have been explicit in advising us what information will be the most effective in making our case, and helped us create a compelling response. In one case they were even able to tap into their network and provide supporting letters from experts in the field. We typically find ourselves working with one of several attorneys supported by other staff members. This has worked well for us. The lawyer is available when needed, but a paralegal or other staff member can provide rapid or informal feedback. The current US work immigation system is complex and time consuming. Recent political trends have been making this worse. Despite this, my understanding is that VisaPro has close to 100% success rate in H1-B cap applications by their clients. We've found them to be effective shepherds for all of our employment immigration-related needs.
