I'm not even sure where to start... Should I lead with the $3000+ ADDITIONAL fee that they tried to tack onto my bill 2 hours AFTER starting, while I was at work trying to manage these costs, leading the installers to simply sit in my front yard for 3 hours not working? Or would a good place to start be with them trying to say they need double the materials they actually need, leading to hugely inflated costs? Or do I begin with, despite being told all of our furniture would be moved by the installers, it still seemed like a huge ordeal for them, thus leading to all of our furniture, including my baby's crib, being placed in our yard without tarps overnight? Or should I start with being told our installer would be taking the next day off, mid-project, at 3:30 in the afternoon the day before he'd be gone? Or do I begin with them adding transitions to doorways to avoid matching up flooring, which caused one of our doors to not even shut? Or is a better place to lead with them leaving cement rings in our backyard and tack strips in our driveway that caused TWO flat tires from where they failed to clean up after the installation? Or do I begin with the fact that you'll just NEVER be able to get ahold of anyone via phone. I guess what all of this boils down to is even if ONE of these things would upset you, I'd steer very clear of this company! Edit: likely because of this post, two managers contacted me to come discuss this at my house. Their response? -The attempt at overcharging by thousands was "an oversight by the office." -The transitions had to be added because "flooring from different lots can't be connected." -The door that didn't shut due to the added transition was because "the door looked to be lower on one side." -The cement left in our yard is "water soluble and can easily be removed." -The flat tires were "due to an oversight when cleaning up." The entire situation was so dismissive and ownership was still not taken. Now, in fairness to them, they did offer to shave my door and come wash the cement, but there was no way I was having them back at my house again after all of this.

I hired World Flooring to install tile in my home. The project included installation of baseboards too. While the tile looks lovely, the baseboards look like an amateur installed them. It looks completely DIY. Zero communication from the project manager or the installation team. A 5 day project was completed in just 3.5 days, with no calls from anyone other than to say that they were done. There was zero attention to detail cutting/installing the corners for the baseboards. The installation team destroyed the trim beneath my kitchen cabinets and replaced it with white quarter round. They also placed a huge piece of white quarter round in front of a built in cabinet. And whomever cut the floorboards had no clue how to cut/install corners. The baseboards are way too short in areas, so they just filled them in with while caulk. They did an awful job. Would not recommend them for baseboard installation.

I used World Flooring for a Living room/Family room tile installation. From start to finish they were professional, respectful and their craftsmanship was amazing. The estimators, supervisors and best of all the installers made this experience so easy and fast. They have a great show room located in El Cajon with every product you can imagine. I can't wait to use them on my next project!

Sharif and his team did an outstanding job on our entryway and stairs. After having numerous quotes and people come out to look at doing my entryway and stairs I decided to go with World Flooring. Not only was Sharif by far the most responsive and flexible, but he and his team actually took the time to find the matching laminate that was in my kitchen as opposed to every other company trying to get a "close match". I was extremely impressed by the job the crew did to include their attention to detail and efficiency. Sharif was willing to come out and respond to any requests I had throughout and after the process. I will definitely be using their services again and would recommend them to anyone.

Let me preface this with some background - I bought a house a few years ago and I started noticing uneven floors in the kitchen. This was probably due to the original installers installing the island on top of the flooring, and not having enough space in btwn the flooring to breathe / bad installation. While looking for quotes, we did a lot of research beforehand so we could be prepared and understand what needed to be done so we wouldn't be upcharged. When we met Scott he was very friendly, knowledgeable with all of our questions, and eager to work with us. I feel like not a lot of contractors were as helpful and took us seriously so we were really excited to work with Scott. His prices were fair and we really appreciated him being flexible and working with our budget too. Fast forward to the installation, everything was great and the floors turned out beautiful! Abraham and his team were very professional, kind, and if we had any issues they were quick and open to fixing them. They were always on time and the flooring installation was pretty quick and painless (just be mindful that with this type of work the house will get dusty so be prepared to clean afterwards). They did the self leveling, added moisture barrier and installed our floors. We also asked them to redo our stairs / baseboards too so everything would match. Our stairs had some exposed edges that made it kind of difficult to rework and Abraham was able to figure out a nice way to make them look nice. A year later, we had a pipe leak / foundation issues and we reached out to Scott again to help provide a quote for our insurance since they were damaged. Scott was always one phone call away whenever we needed him to answer questions or stop by to provide quotes. We ended up working with him one more time because we trusted his team to redo our floors. Due to the nature of these unfortunate events, there were a lot of issues going back and forth with insurance, other contractors, and Scott was probably the most consistent one who we knew was on our side. He was always helpful, provided sound advice, and was just a great person to work with. I truly felt like he had our best interest and was working to help us fix our issues instead of just being a salesman and getting the most he could from us. He was helping us without a guarantee we would work with him because of all the insurance obstacles. It's really difficult to find people like that and I'm truly grateful for Scott and his team! The new floors turned out great! Since we only fixed part of our floors, I just want to mention that our original floors still look great no issues with them so far after a year!

I finally got fed up and searched Yelp for a company with all 5 stars. This is where All about Floors comes in. I am soooo thankful I chose them. He, and the team were very accommodating when I decided to add one of the bathrooms mid week. The price was very reasonable, and Elias always made sure to review any price changes before proceeding. I highly recommend All About Floors. Thank you!

Had my floors installed back in 2021. We picked out LVP. The person of contact did not communicate…read moreduring the install. That was the first problem. Second problem is they have been back every year since the install to correct the floor underneath which was not done properly. In fact the first year they came out the guy said they did a shitty job. Nice to hear from the store that their service was shitty. The floors had about a one inch movement up and down. So the second year another spot did the same thing. They came out and ripped it up a second time. Problem came back the next year in a different spot all within about a ten to twelve foot area. Each year a new spot and another ripping up of the floor. We had new baseboards installed through out the house and after 5 years and promises that the missing piece in the master bath would be done, it still isn't. Even this past summer the head guy said he was embarrassed that it wasn't done. But Guess what? Still not done. Plus all the installed baseboards have small little metal nail hole throughout as they didn't even cover them and paint over them. They look horrible. We recently had our upstairs done by a different company and I looked at Village carpets email from 2021 to get the color of our downstairs LVP. Turns out they changed the color on a different email without noting it and we ordered over 1000 sq ft of the incorrect color. This cost me over $3000 because they had changed color. Lost the price of the floors and labor as I noticed it was wrong after half the upstairs hallway was installed. Then had to look through past emails to find out the problem was that I was sent two different emails with two different floor colors. I have left messages for owner which are ignored. Crazy way to run a business.
