I received a reply from one of the owners @WA. They stated that their property is clean, wrong. (Pictures attached) They also started they have staff that put in a 40 day work week. Unfortunately they forgot about the weekends. (See attached photo) I usually come in the early to late mornings and I'm there we'll passed noon... so far each weekend there has been know one at the desk. The membership I pay for has free tanning. The only time I can take advantage of this is during the weekends, which I have been unable to do. I am not trying to be a pain in the neck. I just what whaI pay for and expect a clean establishment. Update... I pay the premium contract for tanning but the only time I can take advantage of it is during the weekends. Unfortunately they do not have staff during then. (See pic). Normally when there is no one on staff you have to use a QR reader to access entry. What they've resorted to is keeping the doors unlocked the entire time. Anybody can walk in and do whatever they want - not safe. I had a couple walk-in and approached me when I was working out and ask if there was anybody on staff... and there wasn't. Since there is not staff there is no cleaning. (See pics). read more

I have enjoyed my time as a member of Workout anytime Mint Hill. Due to health issues right now I have had to stop my membership for an extended period. In doing so, I had an issue that Kam at the Mint Hill facility has been more than helpful and has worked very hard to correct the issue. This feels like a Scam: I had a membership to workout Anytime through Active&Fit from February 2025 through June 30 2025. I spoke with Javen McNeil about my membership cancellation in May. I contacted Active&Fit to cancel my membership and the last day to be able to use my membership would be on June 30th. I pay my membership directly through Active&Fit. I begun to get a series of phone calls and emails about my membership payment of $10 for June and July are due from ABC fitness solutions 888-827-9263. It's always a foreigner I explain to them my membership cancelled on 6-30-25 I don't owe any money to them my account was paid through 6-30-25. They said no you have an open membership for $10 a month. I said that $10 was to be able to use the sauna and hydromassage and the massage chairs and if my gym membership is canceled how can I use those amenities if I don't have access to the gym any longer and that should have been canceled along with the membership. My membership card no longer works but you want me to pay for the use of the sauna. I was sent a statement today saying I owe them $54.23. I called them today I told them I'm not paying that for a membership I no longer have access to. I told them send me a copy of the gym membership contract for $10. I pay way more than that through Active&Fit. If I pay the $10 for a open membership I need to be able to still use the gym in which I can't. I was threatened to be sent to collection if I didn't pay them. I told them I am filling a complaint with Active&Fit and the BBB in which I did. read more

So at least 2 months I called the owner and let him know that I need to end my agreement and he's like you have to pay $29 for a whole year and I told him I don't have time to go there. I work so much I need to break my contract and he says aren't you grown you made that decision I say I am & I did & now I'm making a decision to end it because I work too much I don't have time he says I need to make gym a priority cause everyone works & not that's it's any of his business I say to that I can only work on my yoga mat from the comfort of my home and I got bills to pay and he shouldn't be being so greedy, charging people, even though they can't come in, that's taking money from them and their family, and he said will he'll call his lawyers & (that case would get dismissed so quickly he's an idiot tryna scare people) &also saying my credit is gonna get messed up (which it won't cause I'm just going to dispute that with Credit Karma) but anyways nasty greedy owner Dustin and the irony is that he has Bible verses in his building & ain't nothing Christian like going on with him Money is the root of all evil just talk to this man about ending a gym contract you'll see also if you do a stop pay he'll just make a new business name by tweaking a letter or two so he can charge you again so you'll have to change your card number and the gym is so tiny it's barely any room at an convenient time plus he'll hound your friends to sign up if you bring any in to which they won't have any space to use the little bit of equipment in the facility and if your young he will try to get over on you but don't fall for his condescending words just know your stuff read more

I tried to cancel my membership before I relocated but they refused the documentation I brought in and told me I had to wait to hit my 12 months of payments before I could cancel. I paid for 12 months and sent an email on 9/1/21 letting them know I was cancelling my membership on 10/1/21 since that was 12 months. I then got charged the yearly $39 & today a 13th month was charged. I have called this location a total of 7 times, 4 time I was told the manger would handle my refund because only they could and that I would get a call back, the rest of the times I went to voicemail and the voicemail was full. I was then told to contact the corporate number, explained the issue to them and they told me to email them details, today the told me to reach back to the main location because they are privately owned. Very professionally run gym. More "staffed" hours than some of the other gyms. I was looking for a local gym that wasn't over crowded but had all the equipment that I needed. Perfect fit. Worth checking this gym out if you are searching for new place to work out. read more

I Cancelled my membership with these people over a month ago and I am still being billed despite sending in Proof of relocation via email. When I attempted to call all of my calls went strait to voicemail. Their voicemail is full so you are unable to actually relay any message to them. This is very unprofessional. read more

I liked this gym when I first became a member but they had a lot of weird fees that weren't talked about at all when I signed up. I went for a little bit and decided I wanted to cancel. This is when everything changed. I went in and an employee said managers are the ones that have to cancel memberships and the manager wouldn't be in for a few days. Um what? Okay then. I came back when the manager was in and told her I wanted to cancel. She then started asking me all these questions like "what was your end goal?" "Why are you leaving?" "Where do you work?" "Why did you pick this plan?" "Why don't you go for a cheaper plan?" I answered them all reluctantly and when she suggest to lower the plan to a cheaper one I almost caved (even though I didn't have time for the gym.) then she said to lower the plan from 49 to 29 there would be a 40 dollar fee. To which I replied just cancel it. She called in another manager to talk to me and ask me the same questions. I was really annoyed that something that takes 3 minutes took 20+ minutes. Finally my bf has to intervene and tell them to cancel it which they did right away. The manager yelled "you have a blessed day" on the way out. And we left with a sour taste in our mouths. I also heard from the old staff that the owner made a comment about "too many black people" being at their gym. What kind of gym are you guys running?? You have bible verses on your walls and play Christian music yet you're not happy ethnic people are coming in? Hypocrites. People already don't come to the gym because they fear judgement. Better hope you don't ever want to cancel your membership! When I signed up, I was told I could simply call and cancel at anytime. Now policy has changed and I can only cancel by meeting ONE individual named Alexis who is only available during select times 3 days during the week. Just a tactic to make cancelling as difficult as possible to keep getting your money. I didn't think a gym could be more difficult than Planet Fitness but I was wrong. read more

Great gym. Has allowed me to transform myself in about 6 months due to the great machines and free weight section. The staff has always been very respectful and easy to talk to, especially during the pandemic. I'd recommend this gym to anyone. read more

I've been coming to this gym for about a month now. I switched from planet fitness where I really felt like it was over crowded and there wasn't really any free weights, to this smaller gym that's closer to my home it has 24/7 access and has free weights as well. I've never been here and it was to busy it's always just right. The only down side is it is a smaller gym so there is not a lot of open floor space to do certain workouts. Besides that it's great. read more

Amazing facility! Had a plan to check out all the local gyms today (new to the area), starting and stopping the search here. Very friendly staff and the facilities were spotless. Stayed for about two hours working out and I didn't have to wait around for any equipment/machines. Compared to all the gyms I've been to in the past, the price here is stellar! The best part is it's 24 hours It's a very comfortable atmosphere here and parking is plenty. More than satisfied with this gym considering I was about to go to LA Fitness. Just goes to show sometimes trying new things is a blessing in disguise. Highly recommend 5/5 read more

The sad thing is I really enjoyed this gym during my time as a member. Staff is friendly and fun for the most part. Today changed my opinion on this place and deservedly so. I am moving out of state so this morning I went in to cancel my membership and due to these gyms being privately owned, I was told I can only do so through a manager. They said he would be in around 11am. I went back and he was having a meeting with 2 staff members and I asked him if I could get it cancelled, he said he got the note from the employee earlier and would call me over the phone soon to cancel it. Now the manager, who I've never thought anything negative of from our previous interactions never called. I decided to call the gym and ask for him, he told me he "took care of it" and I'd have one more bill and it would be done. I was confused because he said during this phone call that he would've needed a signature but he "took care of it" for me, which was an immediate red flag. I also hadn't received any email with documentation providing proof the account had been closed out. I decided to drive back to the gym, asked him for proof, and as he pulled up my account it was still ACTIVE, not cancelled whatsoever. Then proceeded to go the correct route and I electronically signed the form and finally received an email confirmation. The sad thing is this guy would have left me receiving charges once I was moved out of state and I wouldn't have been able to anything about it. Total dirtbag move and poor management on his part and he 100% earned this negative review. read more
