The café is very kid-friendly and family-oriented. There were plenty of families with children there, and the environment felt welcoming, cheerful, and comfortable for everyone. I absolutely loved the atmosphere of this shop. It has a very warm and welcoming feel, with tall ceilings that make the space feel open and airy. When I first arrived it was quite busy, filled with families laughing and enjoying their time together, which created a lively and friendly environment. As someone who is more introverted, the crowd was a bit overwhelming at first, but it eventually cleared out and became a very comfortable place to relax. The staff were also incredibly kind. Since I had never tried a macaron before, I ordered a rose macaron to taste, and it was absolutely delicious. They also gave me a complimentary sample of their coffee, which was excellent. It was the house blend. And the bags they sell are very reasonably priced. The café is very well priced, with drinks ranging the $5-8 mark, and the foods ranging $3-8- and the quality of the food and drinks are quite rich in taste! Beautiful bakery with super friendly attentive service. The macaroons are lovely and delicious and the mini filled warm beignets were scrumptious. My whole milk med vanilla latter however was not good. It was too sweet and tasted like marshmallow not vanilla. Maybe I should have asked how many shots of expresso are served in a medium. This medium tasted too milky with no coffee flavor at all just warm marshmallow milk. If you want a coffee forward latte this is not your place. The Huckleberry Cream puff was soft and the huckleberries popped in your mouth, creating a tangy and sweet experience. The muffin was okay, although not something I'd get again. I can't even remember what I felt about the coffee anymore, so it couldn't have been anything special. Some of the service is abysmal, however. After I placed my order, I noticed one of the two girls behind the counter ran off to flirt with and hang off of some boy right by the door - woops! Whoops is a cute little spot in the heart of town. Beautiful interior, open and welcoming feel. My sister and I were not going to stop but I had to take a peek at the pastry case. Throughout my travels in Europe, my favorite part of each place was trying the pastries! Saw the macaroons and had to try along with a nice glass of ice tea. The macaroon was honestly one of the best I have ever tried. The best part of our visit to Whoops? The owner and staff was amazing, so kind and warm, you could feel all the love and passion they felt as the spoke to us about our stay in CDA and their business. Cute shop, great display of goodies, fantastic coffee and super friendly lady with an English accent helped us. Was an overall great experience. I ordered a caramel macchiato and I added crumbled walnut to the top and it was to die for. We visited based on the positive reviews and were very disappointed. We ordered a cannoli, red velvet macaron, pistachio macaron, and a huckleberry cream puff--none of which were good. This is far from the five-star bakery others have described; it feels more like a tourist trap. My mocha also tasted like old coffee. To make matters worse, the shop was full of flies because the doors were left open, and none of the pastries were covered--flies were landing directly on them. Overall, this place is a tourist trap, and unfortunately, it trapped us. I would not recommend going here. read more

This is definitely a 5 star cafe/bakery. The interior is so modern and cute. The food, incredible. I ordered the feta spinach pastry and it was so flakey and soft... I had to order another. The coffees... wow! Perfection. It's the best coffee I've had since I was in Kona. I ordered a large coconut latte with caramel. Not too sweet. Beautiful presentation. First off, I want to comment that upon first walking in, my friends family and I were very impressed by the atmosphere of the cafe. It's very beautiful, lots of seats, cool interior. As avid cafe goers, we all commented on how impressive that was. We were driving from Montana back to Washington and made a pitstop, all bought lots of pastries, macarons, etc. My iced dirty chai latte was very well made. When my little brother bought a iced caramel cold brew with cream, he was too embarrassed to ask to have it remade because it had too much cream and he has lactose intolerance, so he wasn't able to drink it. I went for him and said, "hi my little brother is too shy to ask, but is it possible to have this remade without the cream? It's hurting his stomachs." The response was "no that's an entirely different drink, we'll have to charge you for that." I said "I see, so even just without the cream it's a different drink? Can I just have it made with less cream?" The girl said "we technically can't but fine I will" and remade it with no caramel or cream, just plain cold brew, and reiterated "I should have had to charge you for that, but here you go." I said "I understand; thank you." Anyway I've been a barista and bartender over 6 years in the past and never have I had this experience myself, I was shocked to have had that response and honestly it made me feel guilty and embarrassed, and all I was doing was trying to get my younger brother a new drink literally just without cream. If that's a policy at this location, I guess I get it? Otherwise I was just embarrassed by my experience and wouldn't come back just for that. If you visit, just be clear how much cream you want lol or you might get a latte instead of some cream added to cold brew. Great pastries by the way read more

When our anniversary date didn't go to plan, and I needed to run out and get something special for my husband and I to enjoy, I didn't hesitant; I went to Woops! Customer service was very friendly and helpful. Cannolis are my favorite here. The shell is crunchy, the chocolate dip is perfect, the filling irresistible (and those mini chocolate chips!). We also shared French macarons: pistachio, red velvet, raspberry, blueberry cheesecake (a staff favorite), and honey lavender - all delicious. They had so many pastries I wanted to try, and I always say next time (because I know there definitely will be a next time!). Parking is street :) read more

I can appreciate some of her points but the food service industry relies on its customers for its success and should try and learn even from the most rudest of customers. It's a tough industry. The employee handled things more empathetically than the owner. I just believe in this industry you must really work at being professional and polite. read more

The BEST bakery in Coeur d' Alene hands down! Delicious pastries that are made fresh each morning isn't the only reason why you should come here. This place is just darling! We stopped in for a light breakfast and coffee/hot chocolate before starting our day. The staff is so sweet and kind and make great recommendations. We ordered a hot chocolate with coconut milk (divine!) and drip coffee, with a Belgian waffle and a bacon and egg croissant. My waffle was dusted in powdered sugar and light coated in syrup. In true Belgian waffle form it had delectable cru cut sugar bits and just the right amount of chew. The croissant was super flavorful and had a great portion of egg to it. The hot chocolate was a little darker than expected which was a very pleasant surprise! Super great place to sit and work or just enjoy the city view. Super clean and nice facilities! I adore this cafe and people who own/work in it! I've been a regular customer for the last 4 years. The croissants are as good as the ones I had in Paris; the alfajores (especially the dark chocolate ones) are a treat as are the cannoli! The sandwiches are delicious. The service is excellent. I also like the bright airy ambiance of the place and little bouquets of flowers on the tables. I'm so glad I've found this cafe.
