I ordered one chicken adobo and one pork adobo. The girl who rang me up told me I would be called when my order was ready. She was preparing the rice and another male employee came out and was packing the meat and left it on the counter. She asked why he packed 2 pork adobos and his response was enough for me to not want to come back. He had a NASTY attitude and smart remark, he basically said it was obviously not the same and that he knows how to read the ticket and it honestly just made me feel hella awkward for the girl because of the way he talked to her. She seemed like she shook it off and then proceeded to tie the bag of my order. She then asked him if he wanted her to transfer the adobo he brought out in a pot from the back and he didn't respond. I was looking for a place that sold frozen dumplings, and Yummy Dumpling came up. Hopped on the train to the Sunset to check this place out. A very quick, no frills shop that's basically just an open door to order. It's run by Chinese aunties who really know what they're doing. They are cash and Venmo only. Since discovering this place, I've come back every few weeks to restock my frozen dumplings supply. They have quite the variety, price is super fair, and the quality and taste is amazing. I've tried pork with napa cabbage, pork with chives, shrimp with chives, vegetable, and even their green onion pancake. Each type of dumpling I've tried so far is a 10/10. This place never misses.
