Chicken and cranberry. The sauce was spectacular, the chicken was tender

Dream dinners dinner catering at Orchard community church tonight they served us key lime corn, garlic roasted broccoli, chicken and cranberry and a wonderful sauce, bread and butter and wonderful salad with a raspberry dressing for dessert we had pumpkin pie glazed cheesecake. Everything was excellent, the broccoli was to die for. The servers we're all very friendly great big smiles on their faces and very helpful too as I had two plates in my hands one for myself and one for my wife.

Dream Dinners is a lifesaver for this busy mom! I love having delicious, easy meals ready to cook whenever I'm too busy (or tired) to figure out what's for dinner! The customer service is always great and friendly.

BBQ Chip Chicken Dinner is a winner!! Sooo easy to whip up and utterly delicious!

Five stars to April and Dream Dinners! I'm a single mom with two little boys and I was sick of eating and making mac and cheese or frozen pizza for us after a long day of work. Not only am I sluggish, but the kids probably feel terrible :( I had heard of Dream Dinners a few years ago but decided to bite the bullet. For about an hour of time and 5-6 dollars per portion, I created 18 servings of dinners that look delicious, fresh and healthy. I had an AMAZING, fun, relaxing time assembling the meals too! When I arrived, April immediately showed me around and showed me my own labeled drawer and freezer for my personal belongings and food. They also had samples for next month, scones, water, tea and coffee. April showed me each step, helped me when I was making mistakes, cleaned up after my station, packed my cooler and walked me to my car. All the stations are pretty fool-proof, with the spoons colored coded and already the size/serving that you need. You create your marinades, seasonings, etc and put them in a bag with the cooking instructions, and bam! You're done with one dinner. I haven't tried my meals yet, but soooo excited to provide fresh, healthier meals for myself and my kids. Can't wait for my next appointment!

This place has been a San Jose staple for years and has been my go-to main supermarket for as long as I can remember. The selection covers everything you could possibly need, from international products to everyday household essentials all under one roof, the kind of variety that makes any other grocery store feel incomplete. What keeps me coming back just as much as the products is the staff. Many of them have been there for years, always friendly, always consistent, always making you feel genuinely welcomed. That kind of familiarity and warmth is something you just cannot put a price on. You come in for groceries and leave feeling like you just visited old friends. This Food Bazaar is a true San Jose international community treasure and deserves every bit of loyalty it has earned over the years. Highly recommend making it your regular stop, you won't regret it

They have amazing selection of spices, meats, breads, produce and more. The shelves are neatly organized. I love the fresh pita bread and lavash that they sell. I found my favorite brand of grape leaves. I also found the pomegranate syrup I needed and the orange blossom water for my Basbousa. They had a nice selection of fillo dough. My favorite brand is the Apollo fillo dough. I got a few boxes of that for my Armenian Paklava. And I couldn't leave without getting some fresh bread. I talked with Eddie, the owner, for a bit. He's so kind and if there's something you can't find, he'll help you get it. It's always a pleasure shopping here. They have the best international food items and excellent customer service. I highly recommend checking it out.

The farm sits at 2 acres and boasts a variety of fruit trees, some bee boxes, a small flower garden, and a very well stocked farmstand. The stand has a variety of in-season fruits and vegetables, starter plants and herbs (they had tomatoes and strawberries when I visited in April), and a bunch of locally made and seasonal goods. Not everything comes from the farm, but they source from other farms in the Bay Area and state, and local businesses. They also work with local businesses to use their produce for fun products like jams, cocktail mixers, and dried fruits. They have tours and events at the farm, we got a tour when we went and it was really cool to learn all about the history, see the different fruit trees, and then of course visit the farmstand after and shop around.

It's…read moretucked away in a really nice, quiet cul-de-sac in a clean neighborhood behind Branham High School on the south side. If you live in the Almaden or Branham area, it's such a cool little hidden gem and definitely worth stopping by. The fruit looked super fresh, though the prices are higher than I expected, more like Whole Foods level prices. I thought going straight to the source would mean much lower prices, but what you lose in price, you definitely gain in freshness. For example, their strawberries were $5 per little green basket (three for $15), which comes out to about $5 a pound. At Costco, organic strawberries are $5.49 for 2 pounds, roughly $2.75 per pound. The giant seeded watermelons were $12.49 here, compared to $6.49 at Walmart. (Suggestions from a visitor) A couple of friendly suggestions that I think would be really helpful: It would be great if they posted online what fruit is in season and what will be at the stand, along with the prices. That way people can plan ahead and know when to make the drive when their favorite fruits are available. Also, there are no signs letting customers know they can go in the back. I only knew because I saw pictures on Yelp. Locals who've been here before probably already know, but as a first-timer, it looked like an employee-only area so I didn't go back there. A simple sign would be awesome, it would bring more people to the back to sit, eat, and enjoy the space since most fruit stands don't have that nice extra feature. Overall, worth visiting if you don't mind paying a bit more for freshness.

I saw selections where I was hunting high and low and at this store there were multiple versions of these difficult to obtain spices. You could buy the small packet, the medium packet or the large packet. I went and filled the many holes in my spice collection. In my mind, I had picked up an extensive selection of 8 spices and yet the price was a very reasonable 23 bucks. So far the Sadaf line of spices has been fresh. However, the Setareh spices have no fragrance, little taste. Although my sample size is limited, I would stay far away from this line. It was a little hard for me to figure out the geographic area that this store covers. I'm guessing it's middle eastern. Their tea selection is enormous. But there was a high focus on Bergamot plus different teas. Alas, Bergamot is not my favorite so most of these teas were not interesting for me. There was a ton of interesting food selections, but I am traveling so picking up the interesting items was impractical. I didn't have any real space to store them. Unlike a good many small ethnic markets, the hygiene in the store was very good. Check out was swift and efficient.

Both meats were juicy, flavorful, and tender but if I had to pick one it would hands down by the beef steak. One thing to note about the dining experience is that it was uncomfortably hot inside the restaurant. I went on a summer day when it was in the high 80s and the restaurant didn't have AC or a fan... it was a lot warmer inside the restaurant than it was outside. I felt so relieved when I stepped outside.

It did have a lot of sugar, but it was pretty similar flavor-wise to Indian chai (sans milk), so it paired very well with our order. We ordered the chicken suqaar and the beef wrap. We opted for the chapati (sabaayad in Somali) with the chicken suqaar, but would love to try their rice or their version of injera during our next visit! The menu at first glance looks kinda confusing since they have Lunch in big letters on one side with a ton of their dishes and Dinner on the other side with the remainder of the dishes, making it seem like a few items are available during this time... but the Lunch portion just states that it comes with a side of rice, pasta, chapati, or injera (which is the same as Dinner...) so kind of an interesting stylistic choice there, but this is to say that everything on the menu is available the whole time they're open. The meals were so flavorful- the chicken suqaar had a ton of onions, carrots, chicken, green-bean like veggie, and spices, and was served with a green sauce that had kind of a habanero or jalapeno taste to it. The beef wrap was huge and I only ate half of one for dinner- it was flavored so well and the beef was cooked perfectly. This came with a side of the green sauce and a white sauce. I'd love to return and try their injera with chicken, kay kay chicken, beef suqaar or beef steak, and their sambusas! I saw some on another diner's plate and it looked sizable and filling. Jubba is located right next to a VTA light rail and an apartment complex so there's decent foot traffic, but overall, a wonderful place to try and eat!

There was no hot food prepared and no explanation as to why or when it would return. That could be just the day I chose, but my bigger problem is that virtually nothing is priced in the entire store! There's stuff out on tables, no price tag anywhere, no nothing. For some things in the cold case there is a piece of paper stuck on the side and if you can match up your item to the paper, you're in luck. But there are things on the shelf that aren't on the paper. My philosophy on this is "If you can't be bothered to price it, I can't be bothered to buy it." I refuse to go find someone to ask a price on every single item I might want to buy. I'll leave instead. When asking the friendly staff member at the register about the lack of hot foods, there was a prepared item there that looked good so I broke my own rule and asked. His accent made me believe it was one price, so I decided to get it, only to find out it was twice what I thought I'd heard! I bought it anyway, a package of four aloo paratha, which was really tasty but much spicier than I had expected. I may go back to see if the hot foods return (there is a digital menu above with prices already) but unless things on shelves are priced, I won't be shopping the rest of the store.
