Great food and great service. We have been going to the Peel for decades. They have the best pizza in the area!

Food was lava hot comes out fresh Prices are responsible Family friendly and clean They don't really have a wait staff to take orders or refills so you have to get up and go back and forth a lot to the order counter they will bing the food out but that's about it. The beer is ice cold The sides of garlic cheese bread and Broccoli bits are small but taste good The pizza is good but average nothing special Better than like Casey's or Pizza Hut haven't tried the sandwich but they looked good 6 or 7 out of 10 but 3.5out of 5 read more

Fast service. Nice cold beer, and the pizza was delicious. Restaurant was clean, bathroom was clean

The pizza is amazing. The atmosphere is fun. They have arcade games that are the fun. I got 3 stuffies from one of the crane games. One was a sloth, another one was a cat. I also got a bear. 10 out of 10 I like the stuffies and the pizza. read more

Wooden Peel - Chez - Pizza Near Me - Bremen, Indiana

Local favorite and Northern Indianas Best Pizza!!! Thin crust with lots of toppings!!! They are busy on FridaySaturday nights so plan ahead. Have waited 2 hours for a pizza and it was worth every minute! Favorite pizza ever!!!! read more

Delicious food and wonderful people! I haven't been there recently since they've expanded but I think the added space will be a great addition! read more

Fast service, crispy thin crust pizza was awesome. The kids loved looking at the fairy garden gnomes in the front window.

Just ordered carry out. Our pizza was raw. Not like it used to be. Very disappointed. Will not order again.

Easily the best pizza in Marshall County. Great thin crust tavern style pizza with toppings almost to the edge. I intentionally try to plan trips to Bremen around their operating hours so I can order pizza to take back home to Winona Lake. Restaurant is so popular that the wait times quickly escalate, so I always call the night before to insure I get the pick up time I want. read more

The pizza was good except the sausage had no seasoning The service was nothing special. We were the only ones there. We had to get are own table service. The pizza was quite expensive with the added toppings read more

Always worth the wait! Great pizza. Friendly service. Need patience when calling, especially on a weekend. No, they don't deliver. Best pizza place in the area. read more

I ordered a garbage pizza, no taste in the sauce, or cheese. Hamburger instead of italian sausage. I also ordered 4 appetizers. Onion rings, over done, no onion. Mozz. cheddar balls, the size of a dime. Mushrooms, the same. Finally the only enjoyable food were the jalapeno poppers. Also all the sauces I ordered were ranch and cheese, but drenched in garlic. I will not eat here again. read more

Always delicious Pizza I always get the Garbage pizza, delicious! Staff is friendly, place is clean and prices are fair

Arguably the best pizza in the area! Be prepared to order WAY in advance though, particularly on game or weekend nights.

Great pizza. And their "Munchers" appetizers with ranch are awesome! It was a pregnancy craving I had with all 5 kids. Love their chai tea.

Best pizza around, and the manager is totally hot. If you want good pizza at a reasonable price, then this is the place to go. You need to be patient if you are ordering on a Friday or Saturday as it is their busiest times. read more

Seriously, Wooden Peel is the best pizza in the world, and I don't say that lightly! :) Getting Peel pizza is one of the only "must do" things on my list whenever I make the trek back to Indiana from California. It's thin, crispy crust is the best. I have spent many a night in San Francisco pining for some cheesy Peel goodness... read more

Service wasn't overly friendly and the pizza took well over an hour. It was good pizza but not really worth the wait. read more

Wooden Peel - people sitting at tables in a restaurant - Pizza Near Me - Bremen, Indiana

The place is small, dark and feels dirty. We waited over an our for our small, overpriced pizza. The pizza itself wasn't very good. They went light on the toppings, the cheese was burnt and the sauce was really bland. Not to mention everyone burnt their mouths. The workers were incredibly rude. This place came highly recommended to us but we were all disappointed. read more

No one behind the counter ever seems friendly or happy, but then again I don't care about that. I love their pizza. I think it's the crust that makes it different and so much better. So, when I call in an order it may take a hour or so on a busy night, but when it's ready I go in not caring what kind of mood the staff is in, pay for my pizza and run out giggling like a little school girl, warm pizza in hand! But, that's just me.... read more

Crust is okay. Sauce is okay. Cheese is processed. Sausage was awful. No Italian sausage available...at a pizza place?! And that's the good news. Think about it...if you order a pizza in most cases, it's spontaneous. NOT HERE! I tried calling this place for two weeks! NO JOKE! Never got through. Not once! They have no online ordering system. Since it was close by I just drove over there. When I explained my trying to get through, they flippantly stated that I should try to order a week or two in advance. REALLY?! Sorry, I don't plan pizza weeks in advance. At the time they had no dine in service so it was all carry out, so they have no one else but their carry out patrons to worry about...the few that could get through, or ordered well in advance. There really is no excuse for this level of difficulty in doing business with anyone. The pizza was mediocre at best, the customer service sucks, the hours are very limited, you can't even call these people! It's not worth the effort required to simply do business with them. On top of it all, the woman who apparently owns or manages the place was wearing a thong with a see-through spandex and a shirt that said "Welcome to the s*** show"! WOW! Truer words were never spoken! Cocky, disgusting, rude and condescending to boot! Why would anyone go here? There was nothing redeeming about it. I wouldn't return here if the food was free. read more

Best pizza in the area! Highly recommend this throwback unique hole in the wall spot with friendly service. 5 stars!

Nice environment visually but the burning stench is horrible and the pizza is disgusting

Best pizza around!! There's a reason these guys have been around for so many years! Definitely call and get your order in when they open because once they get to a certain number of orders, they take the phone off the hook for the night. Absolutely worth it though!! read more

Horrible service, totally screwed up our order and our friends order, gave our breadsticks to someone else and forgot our friends sandwich, totally unorganized and pizza was nothing special, the canadian bacon was horribly smoky tasting. Lady behind the counter was not pleasant. read more

1st off their pizza is awesome! I am not denying that!! But how they do their ordering is horrible. If you dine in you still have to wait behind all the call ins. They arent the pleasant either. If you say something about it they are rude. read more

Absolutely love their pizza. It's a pizzeria style pizza, so its a nice thin crust baked in a stone oven. There can be a wait time of 20 minutes to 3 hours depending on if you're trying to order around a sports event, but if you just keep that in mind and call ahead you can get around that - there's a reason everyone is willing to order 2 hours ahead! read more

Not so impressed. Pizza is ok, plates are styrofoam. Humm. Ordered a glass of wine off the menu and we was told we had old menus it was more then the menu read. Manager was friendly however was wearing work out clothes. Not opposed to work out clothes when working out but managing a pizza company you should try to represent your company in a more appropriate manner. Did not appreciate her comment and not willing to adjust the price of the wine to what the menu we had showed. Wish them well however we probably won't go back. Not our cup of tea. read more

I am a big fan of thin crust pizza, because I think the toppings should dominate the pie. Wooden Peel is the best thin crust pizza available in the Bremen area. The crust is perfectly baked, and the toppings (I always get Mushroom and Green Peppers) are always fresh and delicious. I get carry out at least once a week. read more

If you are in Bremen this is a must try. Yes, you have to know how the Peel works but once you get the hang of it, totally worthy it. If you are trying to get pizza on a weekend call ahead and give yourself some time understand it's a Mom and Pop pizza joint they are going for quality not quantity. The peel serves great thin crust pizza, my two favorites are ham/pineapple and sausage, mushroom and onion! read more

Called from work and ordered - they said 25 minutes. Got there and they said it was ready to be cut. 20 minutes later still no pizza so I asked how much longer. She said it was still in the oven. So essentially she lied the first time because there's no way it could have baked for over 45 minutes. Pizza had a funny taste - almost as though the sausage was spoiled. Moral of the story: we probably ate a lot of boogers tonight because if they lie to you, they probably put boogers in your food too. read more

I spent the first 18 years of my life in Bremen, then left for 8, and came back about year ago. I didn't like the Peel the first 18 and still don't. This is the "spot" in this town and I've never understood why. The sandwiches are the only thing giving this place two stars. They are pretty good. The pizza, however, is garbage. It is flavorless in every sense. The crust is almost nonexistent, thinner than New York style, and almost as thin as the sauce. Then they load it up on cheese and toppings, because hey, the taste has to come from somewhere. Have you ever heard of garlic or oregano? The service isn't good either. The people are rude and its extremely slow. Nothing about this place would make me think it's as popular as it is. read more

Great pizza if you like thin crust! We don't have many great pizza places around so this is a staple for local foodies like us. Great prices as well! Feed a family of 5 for 25 bucks! Call ahead for pizza and then eat in or take home. You will be waiting a while during prime times! read more

Took my Grandson, Daughter and Son-in-law their after a great day of fishing and a movie to top off a great day spent with my family. Much to my surprise the waiter was very rude. Acted like he didn't want us their and so much better than us. I feel the service and atmosphere sucked. They was vacuuming while we was trying to eat, making it hard to hear why we was talking. The pizza was less than good. Pizza Hut ot McDonald's next time. read more

Definitely an original pizza! I've never really had anyone else's pizza like Wooden Peel pizza. I think it is there sausage and their sauce that give it such a unique flavor; one that people will drive a long ways to eat and wait hours to receive. Which one bad thing about them, if you want pizza on a weekend, you can wait a couple of hours for it. read more

Very disappointed. Not even close to all the hype. Pizza was bland and greasy. First time I have ever thrown pizza in the trash. Didn't want to take any of it home. The wait on yourself service was strange to say the least. We sat at a table for 20 minute before we realized there is no one waiting tables. You have to order at the counter then carry everything dack to your table. Would have been nice if someone could have let us know. Bad pizza and bad service. read more

Good hometown place to eat, this beats Pizza Hut, Papa John's, and Domino's hand down. The crust is so good, also offer appetizers that are reasonably priced. read more

Ordered a large pizza and went to pick it up. Highly disappointed with customer service at wooden peel bought a super savings coupon through pulse fm and already used another coupon last month, went in on May 1st to use my last coupon and am told it expires May 1st at 12:00 am and they would not honor it , I did not see the AM Anyway I asked if they would still honor it for me since it is May 1st and no they would not and was very snotty about the whole thing. WOW what fine customer service, NOT!!!! Needless to say, good pizza or not I did already pay for that coupon once and they got there money. So disappointed! Will not be going there anymore. Somewhere customer should be a priority. Oh well goodbye wooden peel!!!!! read more

Only pizza I like to eat! They do to take credit cards and have always been treated kindly !

The Garbage Pizza is the best! Thin crust pizza is served here and the beer is cold! Must try pizza spot!
