First company I've ever hired that didn't try to sell me an entirely new unit just due to a faulty capacitor. Even gave me the model number of the capacitor to replace if I want to save money and do it myself (I'm reasonably handy so it's something I'd probably do). I sent a message via Yelp on a Sunday night and they immediately scheduled our oven troubleshooting for Monday afternoon. Their front office staff is incredibly responsive! George (technician) arrived timely and was very thorough. He explained things to me every step of the way. He is approaching this very methodically - ok, so it's not the igniter, let's look at the next link in the chain... I saw George called out by name in other Yelp reviews, and I understand why he comes so highly recommended! He called the manufacturer to discuss his findings, but the manufacturer tech team wasn't available. He let me know he would be calling them again in the morning and that he would reach out to me with an update. I've had plenty of negative or so-so experiences with other service technicians from other companies. This experience with George / Astera is so positive that I'm posting my review even before the service is completed. Astera will be getting first crack at all of my appliance and HVAC service calls going forward.

Within 10 minutes he determined the power lead in the thermostat was not properly connected. He tightened the connection and the furnace resumed function. Very courteous and friendly. We had a good time about the issue because I installed that thermostat. It worked until I pulled off the cover to replace the batteries. Hiring them again for a complete HVAC health report.

The impressive part was the quick response from Vlad who is the owner and a technician. He was able to send someone the next day. The person figured it out and got it fixed. However, something was off on the repair which I noticed and Vlad again quickly came out to correct it. These days it's hard to get the type of attention and response from most businesses. They said they didn't know what the offer was. They then called me back and said typical price is $600 and that I was getting the $250 off. Yea right! They had no clue the offer was up (attached is proof) and tried to get full price and not offer the coupon. Not a good way to do business. Stand by your offer and don't lie after.
