Nothing. We'll see what happens, but I'm pretty disappointed right now. We try hard to support local farmers, but this seems like some very poor customer service. Update: while the issue above was never resolved, I have not had an issue since. I really do like this service and think supporting local farmers is hugely important. So I edited my previous three star review to a four star. I wish they'd handled the above situation better, or at all. But one incident isn't enough to diminish what has otherwise been a great overall service.

Located on King Street at the corner of the traffic light intersecting Kekaulike Street, this produce stand has a large selection of items with 2 shopping areas: indoors and outdoors. Price-wise I find this place cheaper than others but the quality isn't that great. I'm not sure the exact reason but maybe it's because the outside shopping area is "exposed" - - the heat and exhaust from the heavy traffic on King Street play a factor? I've also noticed the change of staff and owners recently. The middle-aged female Asian cashier used to be at my go-to place in Kekaulike Market and she now works or owns this stand. If you're looking for a great selection with bargains and don't mind average or below-average quality, this is the place for you. In the outdoor shopping area near the cashier, against the wall you will find "discounted" items where fruits and veggies are pre-bagged for quick sale. They're still in pretty good condition but will have to be consumed within a day or two. This place is CASH and does accept EBT cards.

This is what a farmer's market should look like with a majority of vendors selling produce directly from their farms all spread spaciously apart throughout the mall allowing easy and comfortable access. The prices are realistic too - including other vendors selling food and homemade items! Overall, a true farmer's market with many produce vendors neatly spaced out within the mall. Reasonably priced. No tourist price gouging here!

I usually take out-of-town guests to visit Ulu Mana (after we get fresh fried taro chips from the Hawaiian Chip Company across the street) because HCC gives out coupons for free cookies. I will pick up their ulu beet hummus and have my guests sample the ulu chips. One visit, I ran into a friend who told me the acai bowls were the best in town. I skeptically asked if she had tried all the acai bowls to determine that and she said YES I DID! lol. So of course I had to try one and was hooked! These are damn good acai bowls! Pictured is the PB & Cacao Acai Bowl. Note: They offer you a sample of whatever shortbread cookie they are baking that day. One visit, I got a cookie fresh out of the oven. HEAVENLY! Unfortunately, that spoiled me and "not fresh out of the oven" cookies just don't hit the same. They suggested calling in beforehand to place an order so that it's ready upon arrival. The chips were thin and crispy. We walked out with a bag of the garlic bits - as good as the regular ones but just not as pretty, as well as a bag of cookies. We'll definitely be back to try a fresh box of chips next time.

Looking for DEALAGES again…read more.... I came back to City Square Shopping Center, as I was looking to buy some green onion to make some steamed fish for my dad. My 1st stop was to go to Ung Farm, but upon looking at Ung Farm's produce offerings, I didn't see any green onion - (Insert Sad Panda face), and that's how I ended up at TST Farm. I gotta give it up to TST Farm! Not only did I find my green onion, but I also found some DEALAGES on a giant bag of raw peanuts. I was pleasantly surprised at the very reasonable prices here, as I paid only $2 bucks for that giant bundle of green onion, and $5 bucks for the raw peanuts. The large green onion bundle will come in handy, as not only will I use the green onion to make the steamed fish, but after Thanksgiving, I'm gonna make some turkey jook (turkey rice soup), and that green onion will be very handy. Service here was friendly, and the produce offerings were fresh. Another great store to visit should you need some fresh produce.

One thing about The Marketplace at City Square is the various Asian shops they have here and though some carries the same produce many do have different items and sells it differently as well. Here at TST Farm they package their items so nicely and are so very clean and fresh...not that others aren't but do reminds me of some Japanese markets that do the same as well. Perhaps it limited the rough handling or just to keep things in order I do like to shop here for various produce and do bring mom her sometimes to browses are d as the staff here is nice and friendly. My friend, Mrs. Wong, wanted to buy Won Bok (Chinese cabbage) to use as an ingredient in her Jai (Monk's Food - a vegetarian dish that's eaten especially at Lunar New Year). She kept saying that she wanted the "small kind". I have no idea why... Easier to cut up? We ended up at U & M Produce because she used to come here with her late husband (RIP Mr. Wong). U & M Produce is located on King Street where we had parked for free on an early Sunday morning. Mrs. Wong found a pre-packaged bag of three Chinese cabbage and was really happy. She paid cash because it was a reasonable price. The cashier was very nice and let me take a photo of the cabbages on the scale. LOL! The store was so crowded - UHG! I didn't want to go inside. I just waited on the sidewalk! I'll go back and browse later...

When you go to certain produce stores in Chinatown, usually each one of them has something unique…read morethat others do not have, and U&M fits that bill. This store is located next to the Yat Tung Noodle Factory, across Oahu Market. The store doesn't have the brightest of lighting, but it's pretty well organized and you can tell it wants to showcase the produce. U&M offers a lot of vegetables, produce, and dry and packaged goods that you won't find at other stores. They also prepackaged a lot of its vegetables and even precut some of the big squashes or pineapples so customers don't need to purchase a giant size squash. The owner is a really nice man, and he picks up fresh produce almost everyday that's flown here directly from California. His staff are very hardworking and they're all friendly. You know, I've never asked him for U&M stands for. I just always think "you and me" lol. I'll ask him next time.

Beware of the President's sister she might be the Vice President…read more She is an extremely rude and demanding person. She shops regularly at a well known department store next to Zara where she belittles the staff, demands special treatment, throws a tantrum when she doesn't get her way. Returns clothing and shoes that's she's worn! On multiple occasions attempted to return items that were not purchased from said store. When you aren't working quickly enough, to her pace, she makes snide comments about the speed at which you try to help her. Always wants the Manager in Charge to show up as she plays the victim. Learn to treat everyone with respect! You are not above anyone!
