Love the fresh fruit available for purchase here
    Li Y.

Love Frankie's Fruit Farm..! Many years ago when planting our yard we were told Frankie's was the place to go for the best fruit trees. They did not disappoint! Ended up getting a white pirie mango tree, kaimana lychee, and the most abundantly fruiting kumquat tree ( perfect accent for outside the front entrance!). We had the trees delivered. Fast forward many years and many fruit crops later, with a visit to the farm with friends, was blown away by the exotic fruit which was available for purchase ALONG with the fruit trees! Time permitting as well as interest level of carmates, I try to stop by the farm whenever driving around for sightseeing. And yes, today I brought home a mixed bowl of exotic fruit ($10 a container). :-) Frankie's is set back in the back of Waimanalo. The yelp map will help you find the farm easily!

Love that people still eat fruits!!! Such a beautiful place. We went around 2 pm and bought 2 plants for $40 and $75. They have mango trees, cico plants, and lots more They have parking available, can imagine it being pretty crowded in the morning

    Honey cream pineapples!

I was told they're quitting the honey cream pineapples :,(. But there are plenty of other wonderful fruits to explore here and the owners are so very sweet. It's still nice to take a trip here to walk through the beautiful nursery and see what's in season!

We had fun getting to taste the different unique fruits. Put my name on the waitlist to get a fig tree too. The woman working here was very helpful and friendly!

It's such a treat whenever I visit Frankie's Nursery. Not only do they sell a wide variety of plants, trees, & seedlings, but they also have a fruit stand where they sell their fruit that grows right on the property! And to take it up a notch, they even sell fresh cut fruits (usually super sweet pineapple) and an assortment of freshly made fruit juice. My favorite juice is their lilikoi and also their pineapple. They even have dragon fruit juice, which I plan to try during my next visit. It's fun to browse all the different fruits and plants while at the same time educating myself with the fruits/plants that are are new to me. If you have questions about anything they have to offer, just ask for Lynn. She is very knowledgeable about the plants they sell and will guide you to select what kind of plants will thrive according to where you live. Here's my big tip: Frankie's Nursery has a list you can request to be put on for the more exotic, difficult fruits to find (think of durian & langsat aka lanzones). I also love knowing that I'm helping a local business while eating/drinking a variety of locally grown tropical fruits :)

I thought I'd post an update to my original review which was written after we bought a Soursop tree. Today, we just picked our first soursop and it was huge. Probably could've waited a week or two to ripen but we'll learn as we go. I also went to Frankie's today and last Saturday to get more fruit trees. Ended up buying an Acerola Cherry tree ($40), an Abiu tree ($75), and a lemon tree ($45). They were kind enough to save the Abiu tree for me which arrived at their nursery shortly after my trip last weekend. Frankie's also picks fruit from their trees which they offer for sale to the public. Today, I bought my wife a pound of lanzones for $18. Small kine expensive but I don't know where else to buy these and my wife LOVES them.

We were looking for a miniature exotic fruit tree and was told that this is the place to go. They were very knowledgeable and made lots of recommendations. We ended up getting this WI apple tree and waiting list for a sugar apple tree as well. Highly recommend this nursery for all kinds of stuff Wi apple (pronounced wee or vee apple) is a tall tropical fruit tree often seen growing in gardens and parks in Hawaii. Originating from Polynesia (Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Solomon Islands), wi apple has been widely cultivated throughout Southeast Asia, South America, and the Caribbean.

Frankie's Nursery has a fruit stand that carries a wide variety of interesting and delicious fruit. But, we drove to Frankie's specifically to pick up pre-cut containers of the white cream pineapple $7/container). The white cream pineapple is a squat looking pineapple that appears very green but in reality is uber sweet and candy-like. It's worth every cent! They have a refrigerated section with pre-cut pink guava, dragon fruit, and a variety of fruit juices. If you're feeling lazy and don't want to bother with cutting up fruit, I'd recommend getting the cut up fruit option. The stand has an ever changing variety of fruit, some of which I've never seen or heard of before. Case in point, fuzzy persimmons from the Philippines. While prices are not necessarily cheap and the farm is located in Waimanalo, a drive to Frankie's is worthwhile simply to get white cream pineapple. Frankie's Nursery is a simple journey to the realm of Garden of Eden. Every time you visit there is some mystical quality to this garden. I would say its garden because its so beautiful like you are in some kind of fairy tale land with all the mystical fruits that were made for the God and Goddess. I love coming here not only to try the fruits but entering the garden is just bliss experience itself. The garden is full of mystical trees and fruits hanging down from it. Some fruits are on the ground and you can see how natural the whole place is. Its like going into a garden full of mystical fruits. Some of the fruits I have tried some I have never tried. It comes from all over the world and not only its mystical but the quality is just astonishing. I'm not just talking about the sugar content or how good it taste. The feel and sensational flavor of each fruit is just compared to none, it has this Hawaiian botanical quality and essence to the fruits. One my favorite seasonal fruits offered from here is: White Sugar Honey Pineapple (Very low acid and full of flavor) and Durian (Only fresh Durian you can get in the U.S.). I have to say it is a Journey to be appreciated and adored. If you just want to get great tasting fruit and exotic fruit, please go to your local Hawaiian farmers market. If you want the budget and good tasting fruit, please go visit the China town. If you want the Garden of Eden experience in this planet or realm, please visit here.

I came here 3 years ago before the pandemic for the Honey Cream Pineapple and it was delicious!! I was able to come back since then and unfortunately they no longer are growing honey cream pineapple :( Super sad but the owners told me it's due to old age and they hope someone can take over. They also said it takes 3 years for them to grow so we won't see them for a long time :( But they still grow lots of interesting fruit that taste very delicious and haven't seen before back in Canada Also it's a great view! I still highly recommend coming out here if you are an avid fruit enjoyer!!

It looked like a lot of the good pumpkins were already picked out so the pumpkin field looked pretty decent, the swing that's at the pumpkin patch area was a nice touch though.

Incredible. My wife…read moreand I had been eyeing egg prices for months. We fortunately purchased a stack of 60 medium eggs while grocery shopping just prior to the spike in prices for $22. Needless to say, there hadn't been many options that supported that price point - though more and more are slowly reappearing. We decided that if we were going to pay a premium for our set of eggs, they'd have to be good - and we wanted the best. OK Poultry seems to have earned themselves a reputation over several decades for the freshness and quality of their eggs. A little backstory, the restaurant I took my wife out to on our first date also got their TKG eggs from OK Poultry. Then we learned that our friend's father who is also a chef, would come to pick up eggs from here as well. Over the years, we've heard more and more stories about these famous eggs, but we never really had the opportunity to head out to nalos just for eggs - until this past weekend. Coming off a 3+ day water fast, I was eating a lot of eggs as an easily digestible source of protein and boy those TKG cravings hit. So, we made a trip out to OK Poultry and showed up early, well before opening, not knowing what the situation was with the lines. Met a nice fellow who said he'd be getting his eggs there since he was a kid and that all the decor you see was there since the 70s. After picking up two trays, we headed straight for the in-laws house where we cracked one of these beauties over hot rice. Fantastic. Mixed with that umami rice, winnahz. We left some for my wife's parents while also delivering some to my own parents - because what says "I love you" more than the gift of eggs? We'll probably be back in a week or so for more. There's a noticeable difference in taste and we find these eggs particularly enjoyable even if you have to pay just a tiny bit of a premium for what could arguably be the best eggs on the island.
