I was looking for some plants to take back to California with me and since it needs to be soil-less I had to make sure I was able to take the cuttings of the plant. Paula had a bunch I wanted to take back as her prices are extremely fair. I don't know about you guys but these days it's hard to come by plants where it's not completely overpriced. The nursery had a few hibiscus plants, but not the one I saw at Happy Plants, which was a large flowered purple and pink beauty. I did end up purchasing a nice yellow one with dark center, and it was $20. I was told at the time that there would be no more re-stocking of plants as the owner was planning to sell the nursery due to loss of land lease to the state, what a shame. If you want to get your hibiscus fix on, visit Ladybug Plants before they cease operations!

They offer shipping to other states, which is nice if you wanted to send as a gift or for a friend who collects orchids. What some might not know, is Kawamoto used to compete in the mainland in orchid shows. Yup you have to be on top of your game if you fly your orchids to the mainland to compete.
