I visited Paula's beautiful home nursery to see all the plant selections and it was a treat. Just being around plants is so much fun and she has shelves of different types all neatly organized. It's in a neighborhood so please be mindful and respectful of the area and where you are parking. Paula is super helpful and extremely nice, she wanted to help me find the plants my heart desired. Talking to her was such a treat, you can tell she enjoyed her plants and nursery. Looks like she is open on weekends 10am - 4pm. I was looking for some plants to take back to California with me and since it needs to be soil-less I had to make sure I was able to take the cuttings of the plant. Paula had a bunch I wanted to take back as her prices are extremely fair. I don't know about you guys but these days it's hard to come by plants where it's not completely overpriced. I was able to grab a couple hoyas and hopefully they survive the plane ride back! Thanks again Paula for the sweet plants, I'll be back for sure! read more

Very nice owner . Reasonably priced ! Had some nice variety of plants from succulents / cacti to indoor and outdoor foliage plants. Was able to get a nice golden pothos and cupid peperomia (variegated). She was very nice and helpful ! Paula was super helpful! She educated me on the plant care and potting mixes for the plants I purchased. I've been searching for a Monstera Deliciosa (Swiss Cheese Plant) all over the island and was so blessed to find it here and so many other incredible plants. With good prices too! Excellent selection of healthy, vibrant plants for very reasonable prices. After driving past the sign "Plants 4 - 10" on Kamehameha Hwy countless times, I finally followed it, and, boy, am I glad I did. After leaving another windward side nursery disappointed and empty handed, here I really struck gold. This will be my go-to nursery. Here you don't have to sift through a dozen sad little plants to find the one that looks like it'll maybe survive. No sad plants at Paula's and the variety is just awesome! read more

We stopped on our way to a cross country track meet at Kualoa Ranch because we saw the road signs. Paula was so kind, helpful and knowledgeable! She has a vast selection set up with signage and even some photos of the flowers that the plants produce. I would have loved to stay in that space all day! I bought a Burgmansia plant from this business on EBay. When it arrived it had curled leaves, and was missing many leaves.There were no dropped leaves in the packaging, so it was shipped like this. Naturally I concluded that it had insects or a disease -- most likely insects. I emailed them and was told that it "didn't look too bad." I asked for a replacment and was told they had removed their stock because they didn't look well. After a couple of days the curled leaves developed large holes, proving that the plant had an insect pest problem. They told me to ship it back -- package and ship a mite-infested dead plant? I have bought from them several times before but I will never buy from them again. read more

i am writing this review because I spent over $200 on plants at Paula's Nursery that I had no intention of buying initially. My wife and I were just headed for a Sunday at the beach in Kaawa. Instead my wife sees signs of a plant sale, so we follow them to see what kinds of stuff she had. We had just moved into a home and the landscape needs some work. So, long story short. We walk through her assortment of all kinds of foilage. My wife instantaneously decided that we would do our own landscaping. And went about grabbing all kinds of plants and flowers. Here is my reason for yelping this business....The owner Paula greeted us with a smile, though it was scorching hot and asked if she could help us. Any question my wife had...Paula had the answer to. She was very knowledgeable about her inventory and very creative in suggesting what goes with what and so forth. Bottom line, we never made it to the beach, but our entrance way at our home is looking like its on its way to bigger and better things. We plan on visiting her this weekend.
