My son has been attending Wonderland Angels and I am more than pleased with the service and quality of care at this facility! The staff are very warm, loving, & caring to the children. All the staff have their own personal relationships with the kids and I think that is very important. The staff and the owner really take pride in caring for children, they do not act as if it's just a job, just a check type of attitude. As a mother I definitely felt the energy and love throughout this establishment. I feel very comfortable and happy that my son is in good motherly love hands! My son also looks forward to going to school, that is also a great indication that your child is in a good place. I would definitely recommend this center to anyone that is looking for a loving, safe, positive environment for their children to grow/learn. read more

I called in this morning to try and get more information about the school. The receptionist or clerk that answered the phone was rude from the beginning. She answered the phone with attitude and wasn't really helpful. When I asked whom am I speaking to? she replied with "the clerk" when I asked her for her name she said I don't have a name. I told her that she needs to get a new job and she replied with "Fuck you". I ended the call shortly after. This is a place for our kids to learn and exposing your child to an individual name "The clerk" will not only hinder your kids growth, but also affect those whom your child comes in contact with. Management really need to re-evaluate their employees if they want to stay in business. read more

The teachers are really nice however there are some with anger issues that yell at the kids. I personally witnessed a teacher scream at a child and when the child broke down and fell out she picked him up and took him out of the classroom. The school closes early on some Fridays and still expects you to have a money order for tuition. They have a sign on the door that says as long as you pay for tuition by 9 a.m. Yet when you bring it now you owe $35 for being late. All they care about is money. My son has asthma and spends some nights in ER there have been numerous times where he couldn't go to school Friday because he was sick. I bring the tuition on Monday when he is dropped off and still is hounded for a late fee despite my situation. I was told my child was disruptive and being a concerned mother wanted to get to the bottom of things. I witnessed countless times where my son was yelled at when he wasn't the one doing anything. So I requested a meeting with the teacher and the owners to get to a resolution and all of a sudden my son is no longer disruptive. All I want is a safe environment for my child to learn and not be afraid to learn. The first report card I received was that my child isn't on track for his letters however when I asked the teacher to explain she told me he knows his alphabets no problem and can point them out when seen also. To my surprise why is he being labeled as not on track. Honestly if my sons father didn't go to wonderland as a child my son would not be there. Also if he didn't have his friends from 8 months old still there he would have left. I keep hearing bad things about the school since the owners have taken over and at this point I'm glad my son is at the age where he can go to preschool. read more

My grandchild has been at Wonderland Angels now for 2 years and I have seen significant changes in her vocabulary and her communication skills. My grandchild is 4 years old and can count to 100, knows how to spell her name and now learning how to write it. (((((((She's 4 years old)))))). When we toured this PRIVATE facility, we were WELL informed of fundraising, late fees, and facility closure dates. We have paid late fees as well, HOWEVER, I was late and business had to go on despite why I was late and despite what my OWN private financial circumstances were. When ONE put their child in a private school, meaning a NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION, fundraising is a part of your financial obligation. This is in my contract and I'm pretty sure it's in everyone's contract. Mortgage companies will listen to your sad stories all day long but at the end of that conversation they will ask so will you be making your payment via mail or thru your bank. Wonderland Angels is a BUSINESS. Lights, gas, and teacher's salaries HAS TO BE PAID. If they are not paid, where would ONE take their child for childcare? Think about that. Safety is a concern; parking lot is congested and unstructured when exiting and entering, staff not properly attending to students and unreported accidents. There have been times when picking up my student, the staff was unaware of the student's whereabouts. Staff are not reporting. incidental reports to parents. Circumstances as such should be reported to licensing. School updates and information is not conveyed effectively. If you are a paying consumer and not receiving assistance (Chrystal Stairs), I highly suggest you not waste your time with this facility, its poorly ran. read more

I have many reasons as to why I have chosen to end my relationship with Wonderland. One reason is I don't agree with the business practices of management in the main office. It appears to me the school is more concerned with funding then my child's education. We are currently living in an economy that is rebuilding itself. Meaning, income may be subject to change according to the cost of living. So, for the management to take a stand of not allowing a child to come to school and get an education due to funding leaves me with a feeling of low confidence in the schools ability to focus on my child's education. Also, the expectations for the fundraisers are way too high. Last summer I brought payment for my child to take summer pictures and was told to put the payment in his cubby holder. I then found out a few days later he did not take pictures because his payment slip was still in his cubby holder. Management did not notify me that he had not taken pictures until after his payment was found in his cubby holder. This is another business practice I did not agree with the outcome. I did receive an apology when it was brought to the schools attention, but, I was never given a resolution as to when the pictures could be taken. The school did not make it their responsibility to correct their mistake. Sometime last year I paid for an event that my child did not attend due to him being sick. When I paid tuition I subtracted the $20 paid for the event he did not attend. I was told by management that I can't do that and I lost out on $20. In addition to that I was charged a late fee for not having the full amount of the tuition that Friday. I understand the money is used to purchase things for the event but my child did not receive anything from that event. Another example of the business practice I am not comfortable with the end resolute. In November of last year I wanted to give my child a party in his class for his birthday. I was told that I was able to bring ice cream and pizza but I would have to purchase cupcakes from the school due to some students being allergic to certain ingredients. I believe that is another reason for the school to make money. If that is the only option as far as having a cake or cupcakes there should be cakes and cupcakes made to the parents preference as far as characters, color etc. I don't understand why I am able to bring other outside food except the cake when no one knows what ingredients are put in those foods. For example, pizza does not come with the ingredients it's made with so how is the school to know if any child is allergic? I don't agree with the school being out for a full week and still having to pay tuition. I asked for an explanation as to what I am paying for a week my child is not attending and was told that the state requires the school to still charge tuition on the weeks the school is not open. After research, I found the statement to be untrue. A few months back my child was urinating himself when his teacher left for lunch. This happened the same time every day for about three weeks. The last week this happened I was told if it continues I would have to start paying a potty training fee. The approach was about funding and not about finding out why the situation started to occur. As your records will reflect my child is potty trained and does not have a history of accidents. Another business practice of management that left me feeling uncomfortable. Instead of trying to figure out the problem to resolve it. The school decided to request more money knowing my child is potty trained. Academically, I don't feel my son is being challenged enough or motivated in regards to his education. I feel I was overcharged for the books provided to my child. I love the teachers Aiden has worked with to this point. Ms. Deidra and Ms. Diana are great teachers and I don't have any complaints as far as they are concerned. My son Has learned since attending however in his 5 months of attending I have observed several incidents such a boy punching a little girl multiple times to get the toy away, My son has been hit by other children, as well as lack of supervision at times. The staff is very friendly yet helpless at the same time. THEY ARE MONEY HUNGRY! 35$ late fee after only one day and by the second day your child can no longer attend. FYI thete is no grace period. My first born son went to Wonderland Angels and he learned so much, he was reading at 4 yrs old and he is now 13 and still in honors classes. I really saw how much my son benefited from this school when I decided not to enroll my second child because of the commute. He unfortunately struggled in public school and didn't learn his reading fundamentals as fast as his older brother. I really regret not giving my younger son the educational opportunity my older so got, that's why my baby girl was enrolled as soon as she turned 2. The commute for me is well worth the education my children will receive, I wish that had more sites. My daughter is doing so well at wonderland. If you want your child to excel in education Wonderland is the best foundation for them. read more

All information stated in the previous written reviews is very correct. The greed for money on paying the tuition seems more important than a child attending school for an education. There is no grace period and if you do not pay with the late fee your child cannot attend until it's paid in full. They will blow your phone up in regards to paying tuition. There have been times where I've been called at work to pay tuition but yet to find out I have already paid. Calls need to be made after they have thoroughly gone through all records to make it wasn't paid 1st before making calls. There is lack of supervision. They play favoritism when it comes to birthdays, tuition etc. They do not allow you to bring outside cakes but I've seen other ppl do it. Management claim b/c some kids are allergic to certain ingredients so you would have to purchase cupcakes from the school. Anything for them to get money. But they allow you to bring outside food and ice cream. What is the difference? The kids can be allergic to the outside food as well. If the school wants you to purchase cupcakes from them they need to have diff options as far as designs characters etc. I don't agree with having to pay tuition while on vacation and holidays the kids do not attend school. If the school is on vacation for a week or a few days tuition should not have to be paid for those off days. Also if you pay for an event for your child to attend and your child do not attend, your money is not refundable and you do not have an option to use it toward tuition or any other cost. I can go on and on and on about this school but I will stop here. I plan to take my child out one the new school year start. I do not recommend anyone to send their child here unless they like to pay their hard earned money on unnecessary costs. This school is MONEY HUNGRY.
