They love on your child like their own, and communication is so fast and easy because Ms.Julie and Pastor Danny cares about the parents as much as the children. The teachers help the children discover their interests and assist them to grow on their own pace. My child is now independent and confident in learning. She has become a resilient student and is definitely TK ready! Ms.Julie and Pastor Danny carefully and prayerfully crafts their classroom setting and the chemistry between the students. Your child will gain not only school skills but everything outside of school that is important such as interpersonal skills, independence, and emotion and motor control. The school is also very very reasonably priced considering the teacher-to-students ratio and the Montessori teaching you receive from the lovely and experienced teachers. The best part is that they teach the children about Christ in not an overbearing way but by example. Our son started here when he turned 1, and while the transition to daycare was rough for him, he ultimately LOVED it. The caretakers are absolutely awesome. Shout out to Ms. Jasmine, Ms. Patricia, Ms. Paloma, and Ms. Francisca. They the real MVPs for doing the day-to-day. They refused and then kicked the boys out because they didn't "fit in" with their "Christian" standards. I wish I was more vocal about this sooner and hope others don't go through this either. My daughter attended when she was two, about two years ago and this has always been at the back of my mind and heavy in my heart.

He spent over a year here, and it was one of the best decisions we've ever made as parents. He was genuinely happy every single day. In fact, he often didn't want to go home because he loved being here so much. As parents, there is nothing more reassuring than knowing your child feels safe, loved, and excited to go to daycare every morning. Shama is an incredibly loving and caring. You can truly feel how much she loves the children and treats them like family. She created such a warm, nurturing environment where our son thrived. Not only did he receive wonderful care, but he also learned so much from table manners and songs to new words and social skills. We were amazed by how much he grew during his time here. I also do hear that the director there may be there past her prime, this review is based on my perspective as a father. Although I speak 100% English to my daughter, my wife speaks 100% Japanese to my daughter. I think this is a great school that provides a lot of opportunities for those that want their kids to learn Japanese or at least enforce what they can retain. There are class moms that assist with the parents in helping with various activities that this preschool has. They do have a Halloween event, Christmas event, some other event that involves hitting a watermelon blindfolded (Suikawari), and an athletic event which the whole family can get involved called Undokai in the spring. There are bake sales and Teriyaki chicken sales, throughout the year. For those that miss very few classes, there are attendance awards in June for those that miss the least days of preschool. Also in the middle of June prior to the completion of the spring session, there is a day where kids can play on 2 jumpers should they wish to expel their energy. As for the staff, of course all of them speak fluent Japanese. English most likely is not their first language but they do have an understanding of it. For those students and parents that do not understand Japanese, there are those that can help you understand what is going on. The teachers are mostly older than probably other Japanese preschools in the area but they do a great job facilitating a pleasant learning environment. Of course with any school, parents can meet each other prior to dropping off or picking up their kid(s) so it can serve as a place for parents to find out which friends your kids enjoy playing with. There is a day that is set where parents collectively can visit your child's class to see what goes on during their daily activity. For those that attend the summer sessions, there are 2 days each week designated for pool day so the kids can cool off in the plastic wading pools that are set up. Play toys are available in each classroom and are based on the age of the child. As far as outdoor play equipment, there are also 2 large sandboxes, tricycles to ride, a secure place for kids to run on concrete, a play gym, and 2 Little Tyke style houses for the kids to play in. This school has allowed our daughter to grow up in an environment she is comfortable in. It helped that we attended the Gardena Buddhist Church so our daughter was accustomed to the environment and not shocked into a preschool. After 2 years of this school, she will now go to an English school so she can start the transition to Kindergarten. It is always good to register early in any preschool so you have a good chance of enrolling there. We would send our other daughter to go there but since we moved, we will enroll our 2nd one to another local Japanese preschool.

About 15 minutes later I received a call from Mrs. Belinda to reassure me that he was doing just fine. I thought that was very sweet from her because it showed that she cared and understood the situation for both; the child and the mother. Through the years it only got better! My son was being cared by a welcoming environment and warm staff that showed to be very dedicating to the children. I enjoyed that he was given a variety of developmentally appropriate indoor and outdoor activities including singing, story telling, dramatic play and multi sensory fun. The Center also gives homework to the children so make sure to keep up otherwise you will hear it from Mrs. Belinda. She can be strict but that's because she cares and only wants the best interest for the child. My son (now 5 years old)has learned so much from this Center. We gave Teeny Tots a try and that was the best decision we made for our baby. My son attended Teeny Tots for 3.5 years and it became his second home. This preschool has a strong emphasis in teaching and developing the age appropriate skills including emotional intelligence, alphabet, colors, shapes, counting, art, public speaking, etc, but most importantly it provides a safe and loving environment for the little ones. I love that every day/week has a specific schedule and all the kids are following the routine. Mrs. Tina and Mrs. Tammy organize fun events throughout the year including birthday and holiday celebrations, water play days, field trips, movie nights and even family events. They always go above and beyond to make every kid feel special. I cried after I dropped off my son at Teeny Tots the first time when he was 18months old and I cried again the day he graduated from there.
