Great experience at this location. Ordered on app, got notifications of when it was ready. Went in when I got the text it was ready and it was on the shelf, ready for pickup! So easy. I ordered yasas, Alanaza, Fred's meat&. Bread. Everything was good. Alanza was a bit overpriced, small servings. Other places I ordered from had good portion size. The menu confuses me a little because I know the green w indicates I can order it at the location to be picked up...but what about the non green w mean? There are a lot of options and it's kind of mind blowing how many there are. I was concerned how will the get all my orders correct but they did. Ambiance not so good. Wonder... you broke my heart . I have come to Wonder a lot since it opened, I love the idea and I do come here with friends when we can't agree on what to get (just as the commercials suggest). But the last time I came, things weren't so good. I came in faded and ordered a brisket sandwich and fries. They came relatively quick and I was chilling while I waited. It came out after roughly 10 minutes and I sat down and dug in. I was halfway through the sandwich when I felt something hard in my mouth, I took it out and saw a little ball-like thing that looked like it could be part of some type of food but definitely not a brisket sandwich. Regardless, I didn't think much of it, taking it out and moving on. But that's when I saw a weird little plastic object in my fries. I took it out to see what looked like a condiment nozzle. Now I can live with a weird little ball, but a weird little plastic object, no way! So I went up to the counter to say something. I waited for someone to come out so I could talk to them, but after 10 minutes no one came and I just cut my losses and dipped. I wish I didn't have to give this review because I do think Wonder has good food, service, and ambiance, but this was disappointing. read more

I think this is the first wholly inedible pizza I've ever encountered in my life. The crust was rock hard - I mean cracked into sharp shards that were impossible to chew. There was virtually no sauce or cheese, leaving it flavorless and painful. AND, they were still "cooking" it when I arrived... yet it was ice cold when I got it home 2 blocks later. Over priced, small portions that taste like they are thawed out in a microwave. I've given them several chances, I realize that they are busy, but every time I place an order, one of the items that I order is missing, food that should be hot is cold and food that should be cold is hot. The items are carelessly thrown in a bag, sauce leaks, items that are supposed to come with your order are missing and sometimes you get items that you did not order or want, often the "replacement or mistaken" items cost less than what you paid for. I have Wonder deliver the items, and they get the food delivered to you very quickly, almost too quickly, leading me to believe that they heat up the food in a microwave. I can microwave my own frozen food for a fraction of the cost. read more

I'd like to be very clear and say the staff here are EXCELLENT. They were very helpful in ushering me through the process of ordering, explained the concept to me, and had nothing but great attitudes. If any of you are reading this, the one star absolutely does not apply to you. So...Wonder. What even is this? A food court that serves food from restaurants that aren't even in NY? I get that it's a ghost kitchen, but I'm not sure there was a demand for something like this. Nevertheless, I'm always one to try new spots in the neighborhood so I decided to give it a shot. On the first visit, I got a burrito bowl from Limesalt. It was mushy, creamy and everything you could ever hope from a Chipotle except it cost more, resembled baby food in texture, and I don't know, just didn't seem all that spectacular. Never one to judge a place on one visit I went back and ordered wings from Wing Trip. Huge mistake. The flavor resembled that crust that forms around the nozzle of a hot sauce bottle, ya know, kinda stale and strange but with a kick. And the wings? They were like chicken sponges with zero crisp. I suppose the fries were decent but not enough to help me get past the wings. I guess I hadn't learned my lesson because I returned a third time, ordered what you see in the picture, which is supposed to be a patty melt and fries, but this time I asked for a refund. Almost 14 bucks for about ten fries and a "burger" that looks like something my 4th grade teacher used to keep the door open. Sorry Wonder. Three strikes and you're out. read more

It's a ghost kitchen which is very funny. (Watch some videos about them if you haven't heard of them. Kind of just a top down bad business model for food) The service is incredibly fast and the staff are great! This is a review for the FOOD alone. I don't say this to be funny, malicious, or sarcastic in anyway. This establishment has succeeded in having the worst quality food I've had in my 30+ yrs being a New Yorker. The craziest part is that this place almost looks like a shiny new restaurant. Alas, it's 21 new restaurants. Something happened with my original review, so I'm posting this for a second time because I was THAT impressed with the food. My partner and I decided to order a few steaks from Bobby Flay's menu because we didn't feel like cooking, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality! Both of our steaks were cooked to perfection, and the food arrived warm and ready to eat. My partner is extremely particular about her steaks, but we both absolutely loved them. I'm from Texas, so having actually good barbecue (namely brisket) in the neighborhood is heaven sent. But basically every restaurant I've tried has been great, so you can't go wrong. I'm giving Wonder 4 stars largely because of the sheer number of options available, friendly staff, and fast production of food. My experience with the food itself has been mixed. I got a great grain bowl to eat in from the Michael Symon menu, and then a decent but not spectacular salad from Just Greens, both of which I ate there. Tonight we ordered a DiFarra pizza, which was sort of disappointing; I'm not sure if it just didn't travel well (for a whole two blocks) or if my expectations were just too high. However, I'm looking forward to trying more of the options, particularly the Indian and bbq menus! read more

STAFF IS FANTASTIC. But they constantly run out of supplies on basics like lettuce, tomatoes, chicken, etc. The company is far too focused on being efficient. They've also changed items on the menu to lower quality ingredients (the tortilla chips used to be good. It's better now if you just buy a bag of Tostitos. That is the chip they will give you now for the same price as a full bag of the same chips at the grocery store!). Wonder is an interesting concept. And really it's kind of perfect for a neighborhood like park slope. It's great if you have kids who want different things to eat. They have a location with one kitchen that hosts multiple menus. The location is clean and the staff is friendly. This review is for both delivery (which they champion,) and eating at the location. If you have trouble making a decision the many selections will do you know favors. But why does it lose star? At the end of the day... it is quantity over quality. Instead of focusing on one thing and doing it great, they do all sorts of things to varying degrees. So far, I have tried Alanza, barrio, hanu poke, the mainstay, limesalt, and jota. Listen in brief I say stick with the ones that align more closely to typical fast food. Barrio: the quesadillas were solid. Limesalt (which is like chipotle and actually cheaper) is good. But jota and mainstay did not work for me. The shrimp from jota were sad and scrawny, and the patatas were kind of gross. The salmon from mainstay was dry and anemic. Alanza and hanu were both middle of the road. For fast pasta Alanza is fine (better for kids) and I liked hanu fine for a fast poke bowl but my friend felt her fish was a bit off. I think if they can find a way to curate the restaurants a bit better it will be stronger. But as of now I would not get a steak from wonder. The idea of easily ordering DiFara locally is an exciting thought to anyone who has stood on the line at their original Avenue J local to get in the tiny crowded store to patiently wait upwards of an hour+ for their slices. There are sky-high expectations for DiFara pizza, and for good reason, as they've earned their reputation from that Avenue J store. This brings me to the experience of ordering DiFara pizza from Wonder. Is is good? Yes. Is it DiFara good? No. If they had chosen to give this pizza a new brand that said it's "inspired by DiFara" and run by his family, I think that would have been fair and set appropriate expectations, but they haven't. Same goes for the stock photo they use. Take a look at the side-by-side of the photo I included in this review of my pie vs the one they advertise. The stock photo has generous fresh basil leaves, while there was not a single leaf to be found on my pie. There was probably ground up basil seasoning in the sauce, but again this isn't the expectation they set using the DiFara name and that photo. They even talk about Dom Demarco on the inside of the box that they serve this pie in. TL;DR: The pizza is good, but go I'm taking off two stars because it doesn't meet the expectations they are setting. read more

Went here last night for the first time. I always see strangers in my neighborhood carrying Wonder to-go bags so I assumed it would be good. Unfortunately I was wrong. My partner and I ordered several dishes from one of their Indian options. The prices were about $20 per dish --so the same as ordering actual Indian take out from a local spot. We waited 40 min for our food, and walked less than 2 min back to our apartment following. All of our dishes were cold/luke warm upon eating even tho they were in metal containers. Considering the very short distance from restaurant to home, I am lead to believe they had our order sitting out for a while before handing it to us. The dishes themselves were not awful, but certainly not delicious or anything I would desire again. The butter chicken was clearly pregrilled chicken (visible grille marks) with sauce poured over. My assumption is that they grill up a lot of chicken and just add it to any dish that requires chicken for any of their many dining options. We made several comments to each other about how we wished we just ordered from a local Indian restaurant instead. Considering the prices were the same or more than a local BK restaurant and the taste left much to be desired, I would not recommend this restaurant and I won't be returning to try any of their other offerings. read more

I was so curious about how this business works. Seems like a lot of food to keep fresh, recipes to have staff trained on, etc. So I figured I'd give it a go and ordered a veggie burger and fries. Well, I figured out how they manage all that food! They freeze it. The veggie burger was genuinely the worst I've ever had in my life (and I've had some bad burgers in my life!!). It's now become a joke in my apartment how horrifically bad this "Wonder" location is. Literally like a 2mm thick slab of frozen then hastily reheated rubber. I got fries too which tasted fine, but for $6 you get the puniest handful (like maybe equivalent to a bit less than a small McDonalds fries but for 5x the cost). Avoid this place unless you want to waste money on a laugh at how bad your food is. Opt for any of the amazing local restaurants serving up significantly better food for a fraction of the price. read more

I was so excited to try Wonder! You'd think with eight different cuisines and probably 80 options total, there would be a vegan option besides fries. Veggie burgers made with egg?
