This place is a total mess. Do not order on Friday or Saturday nights…read more Ordered three pizza's and a salad on Friday night. Ordered on the app that was pushed to me from their own direct website. I went in to pickup my orser after I was messaged that the order was ready. It was not and I ended up waiting another 10 mintutes. At first it seemed that the problem was an unmade salad. I listened as instructions for the salad were called out and had to correct them in the process as they were reading wrong instructions. After a few minutes they handed me my order - missing a pizza. I pointed that out. They apologized and said they would still have to make it and it would be 7-minutes and to wait in my car. I questioned the 7-minutes but they said that is all. 15-minutes later they came out handing me the three pizza's and my salad. I left to go home. Then they called me 10 minutes into my drive home to tell me they gave me the wrong pizza (which is a type I don't want). After the 25 total minute extra wait, having to correct them on reading the order, and the wrong pizza I asked for a full refund. I was told that a.) this happens on Friday nights due to them being busy b.) that they usually do not get orders from the app I used (which came up from their direct website) c.) That people never order the specific pizza I chose (which is on their menu). I reminded him that I ordered at 5pm before the rush, and that it was not busy - no one else came in when I was there. I reminded them that I ordered a pizza on their menu (was not create your own). I reminded him that I used the app recommended by their direct website. Overall I asked for a full refund for the mess and they refused.

Neither of us really knew what a personal chef service looked like. We love cooking but we didn't/don't have time during the week to cook. We hoped we'd get more vegetables into our diet at a minimum. That not eating out would mean less of the white devils (sugar, salt). I reached out to The Skinny Beet in a frenetic and desperate state last December. Since they've entered our lives the sun is shining, the clouds have parted and Mondays are happy (re: they are miracle workers). We have been a weekly client with The Skinny Beet for almost 3 months now. At the end of 1 month we reached out to them and shared a list of each positive benefit directly or indirectly related to hiring them as personal chefs. I would like to share this list with you (reader of my review): 1. My husband and I spend more time together. 2. We portion control better. 3. We work out more (have time to work out). 4. We feel better: less groggy, less irritable, more energy. 5. The food they make tastes flavorful, wholesome and satisfying. We get to eat our favorite cuisines with less of the sugar/salt and more grain/vegetable variety than what we know how to cook. 6. We waste less. 7. The brain space we wasted thinking about what to eat, what to cook, when to go pick things up, crap-I-forgot-an-ingredient --- Poof! Gone. Which, working full time while part time grad school, any and all brain space I can allocate to my work is priceless for me. From Week One: Flexibility with schedule and menu planning was made easy for us - We come home and our kitchen tools and pans lovingly (and somewhat expensively) acquired over time are clean - There are delicious dishes made with quality ingredients ready for devouring in the fridge. We are so grateful for the difference The Skinny Beet has made in our quality of life. Seriously, I wasn't kidding: Miracle Workers.

Well in just a couple hours we were able to cover SO much ground. From making a delicious salsa and homemade chips, to a steak and a chicken, even farro with caramelized onions. Not only did I learn tons of REALLY helpful skills that I've already been implementing, but I had delicious food that lasted me for a handful of meals THAT I HELPED MAKE! They brought all their own ingredients and left my kitchen completely spotless (possibly cleaner than how they found it) I am so thankful to these two and I look forward to our next lessons.

They set us up beautifully, gave us great guidance on the furniture choices and how to best maximize limited space, and worked out the best way to set up/serve the food with minimal use of our kitchen space. I would absolutely recommend them, and we would absolutely use them again. WONDERFUL experience.

He was incredibly helpful with picking the menu and his suggestions and questions helped to think through all of the details. When I was unsure, his suggestions were perfect. I was able to coordinate and plan from across the country and he managed everything locally including selecting the right room at the facility for our event. Little details to big were all handled perfectly and the evening was low stress for me. All of the guests commented on the food and the caterers with high complements. I would use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you Bryan, G and Liam!
