I LOVE having healthy, ready made meals ready to go in my fridge. And the best part? The meals ACTUALLY TASTE GOOD. I especially love myself an unhealthy breakfast..chocolatey waffles.. donuts.. blueberry pancakes..and Level Up has all that, but HEALTHY. 10/10 from me. (I've found that letting the meal sit for 2ish minutes after heating allows the food to resoak some of the moisture and makes it better than eating right away)

We currently get AlFreshCo for one meal per week, and it's nice to look forward to an interesting, local, seasonal, meat-free dish every week. Initially we were thinking we'd use it for a weekday lunch, but we find even with most of the prep done for you that some of the dishes take a while to cook, so tend to save it for a dinner instead (some of the time estimates are pretty accurate, others are definitely low-balled in our experience). There are 4 recipes to choose from each week, and we like the international bent of the meals- it's fun to have the opportunity to make and eat things you don't regularly see, like koshari or an African peanut stew, and even the more common food items (noodles, dal) are still nice to have. We've been generally pretty happy at the end result- it's all been pretty solid, nothing that has made our jaws drop or anything but still nice for what it is. It's also appealing to cut down on our carbon footprint, not only in the process (less packaging, bike delivery) but in the food itself (locally sourced, no meat). Would recommend.

I'm excited to have these kits delivered a couple of times a week and see what new meals await.

A bit too herby tasting for me. I'm used to vegetarian/vegan cuisine and really hoped I'd love their food. I will say though that the freshness of their ingredients is really apparent. Again, excellent quality and service, just wasn't crazy about the flavors.
