So so so good! Every flavor was great and the dipping sauce was just as good. Love the selection of NA beer. Highly recommended.

Picked up 4 types empanadas, classic beef and chicken, spicy chicken and another beef one with raisins, for a World Cup final watch party. Store was festive today with Argentina being in the final. We walked into a space that is more takeout oriented in scale, but warm and comfortable enough to sit and eat without feeling out of place. The menu runs over twenty varieties of empanada on a given day, and the range is wide enough that building a mixed order across a few different fillings was the natural and obvious way to go. The classic beef is a reliable anchor and the short rib version elevates that same foundation with a richer, more layered filling. We tried the chicken mushroom, one of the more distinctive options on the menu, and it was worth ordering for something that departs from the expected. The spicy chorizo paired well with the chimichurri sauce, which is worth asking for if it does not come automatically. The La Che is another strong option if you want to try the house specialty alongside a more classic pick. One thing worth knowing is that some varieties sell out earlier in the day, so arriving with a bit of flexibility in your order in case a specific filling is gone is a smart approach. The staff were friendly and helped guide us through the menu when we hesitated. The empanadas themselves came out hot and crisp, with fillings that felt generous and well seasoned. For an empanada stop in Newton that delivers on variety and quality, Che Empanada is worth seeking out. We would come back for the short rib and the spicy chorizo, and we would plan to arrive earlier to catch the full selection.

Such an awesome & friendly group. If you haven't done ayce Brazilian steakhouses, you need to get on it.. pro tip: come hungry. The salad bar is open, the side dishes keep coming, and every few minutes the servers stop by with a different cut of meat that they carve tableside for you. My favorites were the lamb and the garlic beef. There are so many different cuts and marinades, and you really need to try them all. You also get a double-sided card: green means "keep the meat coming," and red means "I need a minute before I keep eating." They also have a wine list and cocktails. I got the lychee martini, and it's probably one of the best I've had in seaport. Very much enjoyed the experience!

The manager checked on us several times to make sure everything was okay. I found it a little excessive, my coworkers loved the attention. It was quiet and empty, maybe because we visited during lunch. I'd love to come back on a Sunday to experience it. My biggest disappointment was the restaurant's did not allow me to take home leftover food. I had a piece of salmon and some pineapple left on my plate and was told I couldn't take it home. That was beyond frustrating. They remove the charge from my bill, I would have liked to keep the food rather than receive the discount. It felt wasteful to throw away perfectly good food, especially when food waste is such a serious issue. It was literally half a piece of salmon. I don't understand the logic of losing money on the meal and throwing food that could have been enjoyed later. That left a negative impression on an otherwise excellent dining experience. Overall, the food and service were outstanding, but the no-takeout policy for leftovers is something I hope they reconsider this crazy thoughts

My daughter and I were looking forward to a special lunch together, but unfortunately it turned into one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I've ever had. After waiting more than 20 minutes for my meal, I was served chicken that was visibly undercooked. I immediately asked to speak with a manager and explained that I was no longer comfortable eating meat. Instead of bringing a manager, I was incessantly pressured to accept another serving. I reluctantly agreed, only to receive another piece of chicken that was bleeding. It then took another 15 minutes before someone in junior management came to speak with us, and the only resolution offered was to remove my meal from the bill. No GM ever came by. I chose not to post immediately because I wanted to give the restaurant an opportunity to make things right. I contacted corporate and received an acknowledgment that my email had been received and would be reviewed. Since then, no one has reached out to have a conversation with me, no one has taken the time to understand the full impact of what happened, and no one has offered any opportunity to make up for what was supposed to be a special lunch with my daughter. What makes this especially disappointing is that Fogo de Chão has been one of my family's favorite places to celebrate. I've brought friends and family there for birthdays, Mother's Day, and other special occasions over the years. I was a loyal, frequent customer who enthusiastically recommended the restaurant to others. Mistakes can happen at any restaurant. What matters is how they're handled. Unfortunately, the lack of meaningful follow-up has been just as disappointing as the experience itself. As a result, Fogo de Chão has lost a loyal customer. I truly wish this situation had been handled differently.

A few street parking spots but it's across from a lot so it wasn't hard to get a spot. 6:30 on a Friday but we were easy able to get a table for 2. The place was fairly busy with multiple parties of 6 but service was speedy. Right away we had water and mocktails on our table. I tried the hibiscus Havana and it was great. Super refreshing and light. It tastes of ginger beer and hibiscus with lime. The not so great tapas we had was the mushroom strudel. The texture was pasty and it tasted like dirt and oysters. It's probably just us but we did not like it at all. The other one that was just ok was the croquetas. They taste pretty good but the filling is quite pasty. We did order the patatas bravas which came out undercooked and we sent them back. Now the good...we had the pan con tomate, always a staple and it didn't disappoint. Fresh tomato with olive oil on a crispy baguette. The Chicken empanadas are so flavorful and the sauce is awesome. The star of the night though was churrasquito, short rib steak, with chimichurri. It was divine. Would defiantly go back and get that again. Overall survive is so quick and friendly. There was live music which was nice and an easy in and out experience

My dad couldn't stop raving about the meatballs! A huge shoutout to Kayla, our server, who was attentive, warm, and made the whole evening feel special. I will say one of the big things that you expect is excellent service and focus on the details of the presentation and the food. We were there last night with seven other friends for a party of nine. We had reserved a private room and were and looking forward to the Generous Pour. The disappointing part was when my 16oz bone in filet mignon steak which I had ordered, medium rare to rare came out well done! When you pay $100 for a steak, there are expectations that it's done right the first time. It really makes me question who is overseeing the quality control of the product, leaving the kitchen and plated on the table. This is something that is truly unacceptable for a restaurant of this quality. I was one of the last in our group to receive my meal and they left it on the table and then came back like 15 minutes later upon which I told them that it was well done and was unacceptable. The service person said yeah it was well done wasn't it which honestly made me even more upset because they knew it was not cooked to the requested temperature. They offered to cook another one, but that would've taken at least 20 minutes to come out to the table. It's just the fact that it never should've came out that way and the lack of concern to meet the high standards they set for themselves is very telling of how the standards have slipped at the Capital Grille. Our bill came to just under $2000 - when you're paying that much for dinner your expectation is that the service and food is Top Notch. Truly disappointed and will have to think about if we are going back to the Capital Grill again there are too many good steak restaurants in the area to accept this type of service and quality of food. Thanks Charles Doherty

I called the restaurant immediately to explain what happened and try to find a solution. The person in charge was not interested in hearing any of it. He kept insisting I had canceled the order, blamed me repeatedly, and refused to move past that point no matter how clearly I explained the situation. He eventually got rude and hung up on me. Yes, he actually hung up. When a restaurant chooses to partner with DoorDash, they take on some responsibility for how delivery problems get handled, particularly on large orders. The right response is not to interrogate and blame the customer while a ready order sits on the counter. There was no attempt to help, no offer to make it right, just defensiveness from start to finish. We ended the night with nothing. A large group of people, no food, and an experience that left us worse off than if we had never ordered at all. If something goes wrong with your order, this is how Che Empanadas will treat you. We will not be ordering from them again, and I would strongly encourage others to think twice before doing so.
