Now, most dinners around here will cost north of $50 for dinner for 2, and that's not even including drinks. The food here is your standard Americanized Chinese menu + some sushi, and the food is pretty solid. (I dont eat sushi, so I can only comment on the Chinese). Most dishes run in the $10-12 range, but the portions are huge. One entire + an appetizer will suffice for most couples, 2 entres and you will have leftovers. Made a big takeout order for our Secret Santa get together. Everything was delicious and hot. Multiple people asked me where I got the food from. The dumplings were great, crab rangoon was crisp, and all the entrees were tasty. We had sesame chicken, orange chicken, veggie fried rice, pork lo mein, Mongolian beef, and beef & broccoli. I am having a hard time deciding between the service and food for what makes this place incredible. The food is beyond fantastic, each bite of our sesame chicken and Mongolian beef was fresh and home made. The service was perfection. Our lovely waitress went out of her way to ensure we had the perfect portion for our meals, always making sure we had full water, and even spent time discussing how the sauce was made. The prices are really high for the amount of food you get compared to 95% of the Chinese places around and most of the food was quite bland. The Szechuan chicken was not even close to spicy. No flavor at all. The eggroll, while somehow crispy even after a car ride, was dry and flavorless. Shrimp with lobster sauce was decent, and the fried rice was not bad. We ordered delivery and food came right on time! The Mongolian beef was tender - I asked for it to be extra spicy, and it was not, but it was still tasty. The orange chicken was good and the broccoli fresh. My four year old gave the egg roll two thumbs up. My favorite order was the rice! I was looking for a good Sushi place in the area when I came across Wonder Chop here on Yelp. It had great reviews and Chinese food to go along with it, so I thought I would give it a try. Did not disappoint. Family run restaurant, very clean and super friendly. All the food, the Sushi, Wings, Pepper Onion Beef was delicious. If trying the wings you must try putting some of the sauce on the steamed rice. Delicious!!! Highly recommend! Finally a good neighborhood place without the fast food feel. Stopped in for dinner with my family before going to a store re-opening down the street. I had a great time! There was a huge variety on the menu, including lots of vegetarian options for my brother and I. My step mom is on the Atkins diet and she loved the sashimi. The staff was very nice and friendly. The woman even gave us a complimentary soup to go! I ordered an egg roll and the beef and broccoli, my boyfriend got orange chicken, and we split vegetable fried rice. It was all delicious, but I have to say I enjoyed the orange chicken the most. She loved the sample of egg drop soup and that's something I would have never ordered for her normally. We got the crab rangoons (they were really sweet and light), sweet and sour chicken (I loved that the breading was light) and general tso chicken (the sauce was excellent--not too cornstarchy and dare I say better than Lee's). We tried this place since we live in the neighborhood and were pleasantly surprised! We got the Pink Lady, the Rainbow, and some sashimi. All were great and nice sized portions. We got the chicken with Chinese vegetables as well. It was delicious and a huge portion...so much that we had to bring some home with us. Between the fact that its BYOB, has huge portions, and well priced you really cant beat it (even just for take out). They have great lunch specials as well.
