Such a kind, caring staff. The ultrasound tech was super patient and encouraging, especially when our little guy was being stubborn and trying to hide. They allowed us to come back and try again since we couldn't get everything the first time! She continued to do her best to get us the clearest photos she could and reminded me that I was doing everything I needed to. Definitely would recommend to anyone wanting to get a personal yet professional experience.

    Baby boy!

Had a really great experience a few days ago ago when I went! I finally got to see my baby boy in detail at 27 weeks! My tech was very comforting and inviting, definitely would recommend to visit at least once!

I absolutely love coming here for my sonogram pictures of my babies. CarLeigh is super kind and very gentle and really does her best to capture the best high quality pictures. She's very understanding with my children every time we go in. Especially my son who has special needs. The staff is very welcoming every time I've gone in. If you're looking for amazing quality pictures of your baby and excellent service then I highly suggest coming here!

Yeah, I'm wondering why they don't follow basic barrier precautions also, daughter.
    David R.

I have amended my original review given the partially thoughtful response by the staff member. I say "partially" because as you can see, she still tries to put the onus of basic barrier precautions on the client. Which, without me there, would be my HEAVILY pregnant wife and 2 elderly grandparents who were IN THE ROOM. Aren't pregnant women and unborn babies worth doing your due diligence? My work experience is irrelevant. I expect you people to act like professionals. Follow the research, and treat your ultrasound suites like an operating room with precious cargo. In a global, viral pandemic. That is transmitted via contact and droplets. Which has already killed 700k+ in the USA alone and maimed countless millions. I can link the CDC website if the owner would like. 2 stars for the response and the honest to God incredible pictures we received. If they implemented basic MD-office level precautions to safeguard the health of my wife, myself, my in-laws and MOST of all my unborn baby daughter, (who cannot be vaccinated from this deadly disease) it would have been a 4 star experience.

Journal entry: February 15th, 2024…read more First-time here at Precision Imaging... I have been plagued by chronic lower & upper intestinal and internal organ pain for @least 7 years now....... & ............ Counting, unfortunately, and that has gone undiagnosed for just as long if not longer in all truthfulness... Today's visit, is all about, confirming whether or not, there is a "Paraesophageal Hernia present in my body". My future surgeon, Dr. Antonio Coirin, MD, whom my Mother & I met earlier in this week, informed me that I did NOT have this type of Hernia, but that he'd like to have just one more diagnostic done and that was a "FLUOROSCOPY & ESOPHAGRAM", performed, outside of his office..... (Clear copy of the actual procedural Doctors order for Precision Imaging downloaded to this Yelp! review. Good News, is that they scheduled it for the very next day however, Mom & I were so exhausted from the round-trip commute to the office, and the disappointing medical news received, because, we don't reside in Modesto and the reality of the situation (was sinking in for us both) which was looking rather grim at least............................................ A little detour here now... I have photo's uploaded to this Yelp! review detailing all that I am journaling here... It just feels more complete & explanatory to me........................... This office is expansive! There are multiple long hallways that were clean and professional as was the flooring in ALL areas of this medical professional office. Nice, attractive & soothing is their choice of coloring on the walls of the hallways; welcoming ..... There is "pride" in ownership, here, and it is welcoming once you get past the "eager" ladies at the front desk............... Changing Rooms for the females (sign on the door lists it as a female-only room. As I was mentioning, this changing room where you may or may not need to remove clothing and don a gown. I had to loose the clothing but was able to keep my shoes and socks on; everything else; had to go. I'd rather keep all my clothing on but understand with "radiological procedures", the need to have ZERO metallic and/or cumbersome items not be copesetic with the diagnostics that are ordered. If your a tad-on-the-cool-side, as in body temperature you may consider wearing some heavy sock and heavy underwear. I wasn't frozen, but I was a bit chilled once the procedures began................................................. So if a male patient is looking for services here you may want to reach out to the office by phone & inquire as to that. In the end, I drank a total of 4 large containers of barium in-order to complete the Esophagram (Defined by the National Cancer Instituge (.gov) as: (ee-SAH-fuh-gram) A series of x-ray pictures of the esophagus taken after a patient drinks a liquid containing barium sulfate (a form of the silver-white metallic element barium). The barium sulfate coats and outlines the inner wall of the esophagus so that it can be seen on the x-ray pictures. & Fluoroscopy (Defined by the CDC, Centers of Disease Control, U.S.A. is: "Fluoroscopy is a medical procedure that makes a real-time video of the movements inside a part of the body by passing x-rays through the body over a period of time. X-rays are a form of ionizing radiation." (address for this reference is as follows: https://www.google.com/search?q=fluoroscopy+defined&oq=fluoroscopy+defined&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIKCAEQABgPGBYYHjIICAIQABgWGB4yDQgDEAAYhgMYgAQYigUyDQgEEAAYhgMYgAQYigUyDQgFEAAYhgMYgAQYigUyDQgGEAAYhgMYgAQYigXSAQk3MzA2ajBqMTWoAgCwAgA&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 The MD was super professional & nice! The radiology staff (2 people) were professional and serious; borderlining nervous. Have clue not 1 as to why they may have potentially nervous, I am a watcher so I pay attention........ And then it was over & done with! Didn't feel nauseated from all the barium and was instructed more than once to drink plenty of water so as to not get constipated from the barium.... So far so good as today it's now 24 hours after-the-fact and besides having pretty painful cramping, diarrhea & lower bowel pain, I feel just fine. I'm being serious, I do ;)....... The parking lot is very spacious with enough empty slots for parking. We are both disabled; me and my Mother, but we didn't see many Disability Parking Slots around. That was disappointing..... I am planning on refreshing with updates this Yelp! Business Review since we have 5-weeks of DAILY Radiation to prepare for & execute to completion..... Prayer's are always welcome and we are both Baptized & Communion Complete Catholics; I hope this review aids you in healthy ways..... Sincerely, ~Jana Leigh Thomas :) Sr. Yelper! :)

I see a lot of the reviews, and I can sympathize with you for not getting the best care. Before I…read morecame to Golden Valley, I was already a high-risk pregnancy based on my last two pregnancies (one lost baby at 5 months pregnant and one living child who is 6 now). My previous doctor at the beginning of this last pregnancy did not take the time to give me my ultrasounds on time, refer me to a specialist, or even make sure that my labs were all done. By the time I got to Golden Valley, the nurse practitioners were super on top of it with all of my labs and appointments, unfortunately my gestational diabetes had turned into type two diabetes because it was unmanaged and no labs were done. I had no idea. I was referred to a high-risk ultrasound specialist right away, had appointments every two weeks, had labs being done constantly, and referred to a diabetes specialist in the office once a week. So 3 appointments a week, my diabetes specialist, changed it to phone appointments so I didn't have to travel from Turlock to Modesto three times a week and some weeks even four times when I had my high-risk ultrasound appointments in Modesto as well, at Modesto Perinatal. They got me the proper care to manage my type two diabetes during my pregnancy with high intensity insulin treatment and diet control. I didn't have a consistent doctor, I was being juggled around by multiple doctors, but I totally understand because other women are having babies across the street and emergencies happen. They're doctors... Plus, I got really familiar with the medical assistants especially with all the NST appointments I had. Already having a high energy 6yr old, when I was hooked up to the NST machines and my daughter needed to be entertained or even just go to the bathroom, the girls helped me out. Even a doctor walking by when my daughter was having a tantrum being tired and tired of being at these appointments towards the end, helped me out and calmed her down. My only complaint would be my labor and delivery experience. I was scheduled for an induction at 38 due to being high risk as well as the gestational/Type 2 diabetes. They began the induction process, which was totally fine. They said it was gonna take awhile because it's a process (I've been induced before). However, I had already been in labor for 48+ hours and Dr. McLaughlin had ordered the nurses to keep going, even though I wasn't dilating anymore (only to 5) my cervix wasn't opening up. I had five cervix checks, so so painful. No progress. I had kept asking how much longer, because I was in so much pain. The nurse that I had before going into my C-section, was an angel. She told me I'm going to put in for your epidural now because someone else is going to request for one and then it will take forever. There had been a shift change in doctors, THANK GOD for Dr. Stanford because after 60+ hours of hard labor, he came in and said you're still here? (he was the doctor I met on the first day), How do you feel about a C-section? I don't think that there's anything else we can do for you you've been here too long, I don't want you to keep going. Within 30 minutes, I was already prepped and ready to go, Dr. Stanford and the staff that performed my C-section that evening at 7:33 PM made me feel so safe and well taken care of. This was my first C-section, I was shaking so bad from the drugs, and having a lot of anxiety. The anesthesiologist that was taking care of me during my C-section, was rubbing my head and told me don't worry we're gonna get Daddy in here in a few minutes Mama. He told me, if at any point, you feel uncomfortable or feel any sensation, I will give you something right away, you just let me know. Everyone in the room was laughing and having conversation, it was overall a great ending experience. Dr. Lee was the doctor that came to check on me after my C-section, I had already been familiar with him because I have had an NST appointment with him right before my induction, super calm and super cool doctor. Instead of the three days they want to keep you there after a c-section, I asked to leave on the second day. At this point, I already had been in the hospital at five days. He said okay, if you feel up to it, everything looks good and baby looks good, I'll put it in. But if you change your mind, that's okay too. Overall, I've gotten attentive medical care. Of course there's delays because there's so many appointments, but Golden Valley really tries to fit you in, which is probably overwhelming to them because of the lack of staff. They do have good intentions though. I will say that , sometimes the wait time is a little ridiculous especially when you have somewhere to be after or pick up your kids at a certain time.

I came to write this review after hearing about allegations against Dr. Altman as I figured women…read morewho are researching a new OB/GYN would be interested in reading a recent review. This is solely my experience. I am not diminishing any one else's experience. I got pregnant in 2022 with twins and had the babies the same year and before I went to Dr. Altman I was being seen as an OB/GYN from Dr. Lacuna. My experience with lacuna was awful. He did not answer any of my questions and his replies would be "we'll see when we get there." After leaving three appointments rushed and frustrated with no answers from that doctor, I ended up doing research and switched to Dr. Altman. I Didn't know at the time that he was the head of the department, which would explain the great experience. Dr. Altman was a very patient Doctor Who would sit down in front of me and look me in the eye as he listened to my questions and answered as best he could. During appointments he was very thorough and explaining what he was doing, what he was about to do or going to do and making sure that he knew what my plans wanted to be (as far as birth). I did not feel in any way that Dr. Altman had gross misconduct, however, I will say he is very sensitive in that if you're having a hard moment, he will put his hand on your shoulder to comfort you. My husband was in the room with me at most appointments (I think I only went solo once and there was a nurse in the room with me and the doctor) and he never did anything untoward. My husband I thought he was very kind. I can see how if you are not touchy feely, that you would not appreciate the hugs or shoulder pats or even the eye contact but again nothing suspicious (and I am very suspicious of men) I hope those considering Altman do so. My experience was great and I also hope the ladies get the comfort and answers they are looking for. Best.

Let me make this clear, first. This is NOT personal. Personally, I liked Dr. Adams. But I wasn't looking for a friend, I needed a doctor. I do not need a doctor to coddle me. I don't care if they're "all business," or give me clinical answers. I like that! As long as they take me and my medical issues seriously, I'm a happy camper. I have low progesterone during the first trimesters of my pregnancies, and because of this, I have a history of miscarriage. When I told him this, and asked him to prescribe progesterone and order blood tests to test my progesterone levels, he refused. He said there was no reason to test my progesterone levels as it was too early in the pregnancy (I was 5.5 weeks), and that there was no reason to give a pregnant woman progesterone. He said he only gave progesterone to women who were infertile and trying to conceive, but not yet pregnant. I told him I had already been spotting. He said he was going to do a pap smear and I said I had had one less than a year ago after my daughter was born, and I've never had abnormal results. I also told him I was uncomfortable with my cervix being disturbed this early in the pregnancy, since I had been spotting and had a history of miscarriage. He insisted it was fine and did the pap smear anyway. The pap smear was the most pain-free, gentle pap smear I've ever had. I barely felt it and for that I will give him credit! He ordered no blood tests at all. Not even a routine prenatal panel, even though I told him I was anemic after having my daughter via C-Section less than a year ago, and my levels had not been tested since then. He scheduled my next appointment for 6 weeks later (I would be nearly 12 weeks) and said he would do an ultrasound then. This is all fine if you're a low-risk or first time pregnancy with normal/low risk. But with someone with my history, I need my concerns to be heard. It gets worse. Six days later I woke up bleeding heavily. I called the office and was able to get an appointment for 2 hours later, which was acceptable to me. The nurse told me he'd be doing a physical exam and had me undress from the waist down. When he came in he asked if she'd given me a urine hcg test to see if the line had faded. She said no, because I was bleeding. He was a little rougher during this exam than he was for the first one. Or, it is possible, that I was more sensitive and in more pain. And now for the thing that prompted me to write this review. While he had the speculum in me, he reached up to the paper "gown" they gave me to put over my lap, ripped a piece of it off, and then proceeded to shoved it about 2 inches inside my vagina to wipe the blood away so that he could see what was going on better. This was a paper gown that had gone into the bathroom with me and was laid on their sink (as there was nowhere else to lay it), before my exam. This was NOT something sterile enough to be placed inside me at a time when I'm very vulnerable to an infection. After he was done he said that he would send me to get a blood test to check my HCG levels, and if it was positive for any, they would "scrape" me out. I have experienced loss before, and was prepared for the news my pregnancy had ended... but my heart aches thinking about another young woman going through a loss having to hear those words from him. There are kinder, more sensitive ways to deliver the news that someone has lost their pregnancy, other than to say, "we'll scrape you out." I threw the lab slip away and will never go back to him. I feel like Doctor Adams was a wonderful doctor 30 years ago. But I do not feel like he has any place handling high risk pregnancies, and I feel like some of his bedside manners could use some work. You don't have to sugar coat things with me, but I didn't feel his behavior was even professional. Oh, and as a side note, for both of my appointments there was a young woman who tagged along. She appeared to be barely 18 years old, and was never introduced to me, nor did she ever say a word. I assumed that she was a medical student. She stood directly behind the doctor during my exams and had a ring-side view to my private parts. I don't mind medical students. But that was probably the creepiest experience of my life. I recommend introducing them to the patients, and allowing them to speak.

I really like Dr. Adams. He is a bit old fashioned, but he is funny, compassionate, and…read moreprofessional. He delivered my son and I am so grateful to him. 22 hrs of labor we had to have a csection. Come to find out my son had his cord wrapped around his legs.
