Journal entry: February 15th, 2024 First-time here at Precision Imaging... I have been plagued by chronic lower & upper intestinal and internal organ pain for @least 7 years now....... & ............ Counting, unfortunately, and that has gone undiagnosed for just as long if not longer in all truthfulness... Today's visit, is all about, confirming whether or not, there is a "Paraesophageal Hernia present in my body". My future surgeon, Dr. Antonio Coirin, MD, whom my Mother & I met earlier in this week, informed me that I did NOT have this type of Hernia, but that he'd like to have just one more diagnostic done and that was a "FLUOROSCOPY & ESOPHAGRAM", performed, outside of his office..... (Clear copy of the actual procedural Doctors order for Precision Imaging downloaded to this Yelp! review. Good News, is that they scheduled it for the very next day however, Mom & I were so exhausted from the round-trip commute to the office, and the disappointing medical news received, because, we don't reside in Modesto and the reality of the situation (was sinking in for us both) which was looking rather grim at least............................................ A little detour here now... I have photo's uploaded to this Yelp! review detailing all that I am journaling here... It just feels more complete & explanatory to me........................... This office is expansive! There are multiple long hallways that were clean and professional as was the flooring in ALL areas of this medical professional office. Nice, attractive & soothing is their choice of coloring on the walls of the hallways; welcoming ..... There is "pride" in ownership, here, and it is welcoming once you get past the "eager" ladies at the front desk............... Changing Rooms for the females (sign on the door lists it as a female-only room. As I was mentioning, this changing room where you may or may not need to remove clothing and don a gown. I had to loose the clothing but was able to keep my shoes and socks on; everything else; had to go. I'd rather keep all my clothing on but understand with "radiological procedures", the need to have ZERO metallic and/or cumbersome items not be copesetic with the diagnostics that are ordered. If your a tad-on-the-cool-side, as in body temperature you may consider wearing some heavy sock and heavy underwear. I wasn't frozen, but I was a bit chilled once the procedures began................................................. So if a male patient is looking for services here you may want to reach out to the office by phone & inquire as to that. In the end, I drank a total of 4 large containers of barium in-order to complete the Esophagram (Defined by the National Cancer Instituge (.gov) as: (ee-SAH-fuh-gram) A series of x-ray pictures of the esophagus taken after a patient drinks a liquid containing barium sulfate (a form of the silver-white metallic element barium). The barium sulfate coats and outlines the inner wall of the esophagus so that it can be seen on the x-ray pictures. & Fluoroscopy (Defined by the CDC, Centers of Disease Control, U.S.A. is: "Fluoroscopy is a medical procedure that makes a real-time video of the movements inside a part of the body by passing x-rays through the body over a period of time. X-rays are a form of ionizing radiation." The radiology staff (2 people) were professional and serious; borderlining nervous. Have clue not 1 as to why they may have potentially nervous, I am a watcher so I pay attention........ And then it was over & done with! Didn't feel nauseated from all the barium and was instructed more than once to drink plenty of water so as to not get constipated from the barium.... So far so good as today it's now 24 hours after-the-fact and besides having pretty painful cramping, diarrhea & lower bowel pain, I feel just fine. I'm being serious, I do ;)....... The parking lot is very spacious with enough empty slots for parking. We are both disabled; me and my Mother, but we didn't see many Disability Parking Slots around. That was disappointing..... I am planning on refreshing with updates this Yelp! Business Review since we have 5-weeks of DAILY Radiation to prepare for & execute to completion..... My first time here, not sure I want to come be baAfter waiting for over an 90 minutes to get a knee X-ray and asking multiple times the cause of delay, was finally informed that printer was down, this information could have been shared much earlier if they really cared about patient wait times. I Went here close to a year ago and the experiance was frustrating. When I came last I complained about the confirmation person not communicating that you had to be 15 mins earily to your appt which caused a mishap the first time I came. Also I didnt have the best experiance with the the Iv either which caused alot of anxiety for me this time around. I had to return for a follow up and this time everything was different . They communicated everything on the phone and the machine tech ,Ray, was so personable , knowledage and made my appointment a breeze with no stress. read more

Staff is rude and inconsiderate. They pretend to have sympathy. I would never use this place again.

My five year old son just left his pediatrician. They sent us here because he has a mass on his chest on a recent X-ray and they want him to get a follow up X-ray immediately. We went here and were told per our insurance, they cannot do a walk in appointment without prior approval and it would take a few weeks. HE HAS A MASS ON HIS CHEST!!! Precision then offered to do it but only if I paid cash. I called insurance and they said they can't help what providers rules are, but sent us to another place. My husband and I have been here for CT scans, X-Rays and MRIs. The staff has always been helpful and the work has been good. UCSF and Stanford accept their work with out any problems. The waiting room is quiet and the staff is professional. Our experiences at this facility have been very positive. read more

I came here for the simple reason that they make appointments for X-rays. They do walk-ins too. They called me when my doctor faxed over the order. I called them back later and was able to make the appointment for 4:45 for the same afternoon, kind of a walk in. I did some simple paperwork with two different people and it was very efficient. Their Covid practices were very apparent too (in a positive way). I don't think I waited 5 minutes for the tech to call me. She was very professional and efficient. I was done in just a few minutes and I was very impressed with the whole process. I had just had a negative experience elsewhere, so it was refreshing to be treated like my time was valuable too. I have to admit that my appointment this morning was the best experience in a medical office that I have ever had in my life! I was running a little late but the receptionist was still warm, cheery, and happy to see me. I love that! The ultrasound tech was amazing. She was such a sweetheart. She chatted me up, cracked a few jokes, probed my abdomen for mysteriously disappearing IUD as quick as she could, and let me jump up to pee out the half gallon of water they made me ingest. Thank god! Time in 7:29, time out 7:43.. doesn't get any better. read more

I was beyond impressed with the entire experience. We were able to make an appointment and have the procedure within days as opposed to three weeks like another place had scheduled me. The front desk people were very accommodating and I was able to ask questions if I had any. They were warm and friendly. The tech explained my daughter's procedure in great detail and were happy help make me comfortable as a parent who was standing near by. The ladies only changing area was fit with a private lobby and four dressing areas with sliders not curtains. Their MRI machine was pristine as was the suite it was in. It was much larger than any other MRI machine I have seen. My daughter was very comfortable. Wonderful experience, but my favorite detail is they were able to get us in within a few days. It is very frustrating to have to wait weeks for a procedure if there is pain involved. Ask your doctor to refer you to SSH Precision Imaging for MRIs, X-rays, mammograms, ultrasounds... and I'm sure they have other services as well. read more

Today was my first experience at this location for a routine visit. I was very impressed with the friendly security guard pre-screening outside the door and the friendly, professional staff during the entire process. The young lady, Amanda took extra care and made me feel comfortable during a normally uncomfortable procedure. If you ever need to come here, you should have a positive experience. read more

Gross! The receptionist was rude. She was also having some type if discharge coming from her left ear and kept sticking her finger and a kleenex in it. Then she would look at her finger. At the same time she was touching paperwork, pens and checked in a few clients. She even started eating in at the front counter. I was so grossed out. She is talking about make-up, coupons and her infection. We dont want to hear it. She picked her ear just now...then grabbed the clipboard and pen that the public uses. Ok first all I'm not a big fan of M.R.I's but the Women there so nice, kind and understanding of my situation! It took me three efforts to get through the tunnel, I guess the fourth time was the charm! I don't remember the tech's name but she walked me through it by letting me know how much time each little session was. I owe it to her to get me through it with little to no stress at all! I just went to precision imaging for my annual mammogram. This was my first time getting my mammogram done here. This is the only place I will go from now on. The young lady at the front desk was friendly and very helpful, I believe her name was Tiera. The technician that did my mammogram was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable. What impressed me the most was when I had to go back for second mammogram, I was worried something may be wrong. This same sweet girl at the front desk reassured and made me feel so much better. I highly recommend Precision imaging. Also, I still have not heard from my Doctor on my results, but I just received a letter in the mail today by precision imaging with my results. Wow! The front desk workers are rude and cannot get their stories straight. Ask a question and get your head bit off. Asked if it would be better to make an appointment at a later date and the "appointment maker" was rude and down right bitchy. The lady sitting next to her is surprisingly nicer but not by much. When asked where I was employed the bitchy one cringed at my answer. You are the first face people see when coming here, the first interaction, you must put yourself in the habit of being a shining example of the rest of the staff. Instead I am now awaiting more rude, cold and full of attitude workers. Shame on you for greeting patients in such a manner. Shame on you for giving medical clerical staff a bad rep. read more

I was sharing with my coworkers how wonderfully kind and sweet the staff was to me and everyone there! I am impressed at the quality of individuals they have working there.. I have never been to a medical office where the entire staff seemed so professional, welcoming, compassionate and just cheerful and warm! A patient was frustrated this morning and I think he realized he was somewhat rude to receptionist in the front office so when he came up to apologize she was so compassionate and understanding telling him it was okay not to worry. The technician was wonderful very knowledgeable and kind, explained everything, took his time and mad it a great experience! When I was walking out the entire front office made a point to say good-bye and have a great day! I loved coming into such a wonderful place and meeting such amazing and wonderful people! read more

I must say my whole experience was very professional and pain free from the start. The moment I walked in I knew it was off to a good start. Pleasant, comforting, and an overall feeling of goodness. As opposed to some facilities that make you feel like cattle processing. For starters I was greeted by a young woman whom I believed was Ori as she said. Rather odd name, but her professional attitude, care, humor, and proficiency made the beginning go by smoothly. She gathered up my paperwork and processed it with an air of efficiency and speed that I haven't experienced in some time, sadly I don't remember the ladies next to her as she was the primary attendant, but they all work together like a well oiled machine. I was in for general work and during the whole process, I felt at ease. Strerile environment, clean, well maintained. The doctors were as I said professional, proficient and explained everything to me as well as anyone could hope for. I was in and out in an impressive time. I really couldn't ask for a more pleasant experience. Well trained staff, educated and caring medical staff. You couldn't ask for more. Do I hope my provider sends me back for further work? Great customer service and personalized attention! Had a mammogram and ultrasound worked with my schedule and were very professional.

My Husband and I had come here about 3 or 4 times. The experience was never a good one. One time I had to end up missing my blood work appointment because they made me wait so long with my bladder full. Then the tech pushed very hard on my pregnant belly that was full of water to get a picture of my baby girl, it was very uncomfortable and sometimes felt like I was going to cry because it hurt so much. I know they do MRI's, and X-rays but when it comes to sonograms they should let us Mama's go first since we are hurting from holding it. I went up to the receptionist one time and told her I had been waiting for a long time and couldn't hold it any longer as I was very uncomfortable. She said do you think you can only let a little out. I said I would try. She said your next, which was wrong the next person they called was not me. I was so upset. But you can't do anything about it because your OB sends you here. Glad that I got to experience better services and a better OB before my pregnancy was over. read more
