From start to finish, the entire team went above and beyond what we could have hoped for. * The nurses, technicians, and staff were amazing -- extremely hard-working, passionate, and clearly dedicated to their patients. * The clinic was very supportive of us as intended parents and had a strong understanding of the surrogacy process, which made us feel respected and included. * The nursing team ensured that we were heard and thoughtfully made sure we could interact with our son the very moment he was born. That meant the world to us. * The staff also showed extraordinary kindness by giving us a room in the postpartum section even before our baby was born, so that we could stay close to our surrogate during labor and delivery. Since labor lasted 2.5 days, this was a tremendous gift of comfort and connection. * The hospital itself is thoughtfully designed -- the small open courtyards and green spaces provided us with brief but meaningful moments of respite during an emotional journey. We also want to highlight Dr. Felix Sanchez, who worked closely with the Emanuel Medical Center team. With over 40 years of experience, his expertise and commitment gave us confidence at every step. He is tireless, splitting time between his clinic and the hospital, and was always available when needed. Together with the hospital's staff, he ensured the safest outcome for both surrogate and baby. Emanuel Medical Center truly supported us beyond what we expected. Their professionalism, compassion, and humanity made one of the most important experiences of our lives even more meaningful. We will always be grateful for their care and for the hard work of every member of the team.

NO SUGGESTIONS OR EVEN AN ALTERNATIVE OR ANY HELP JUST STRAIGHT TO MEDS. and wanted me to look like I was crazy for just asking why would I need paperwork of getting looked at when they did nothing had me surrounded like a criminal over me not wanting discharge papers. Especially cause the "specialist just made the pain worse and after finishing she just said yeah we can't do nothing ..yeah nun other than pain apparently. How is it that this is called an emergency room but can only do is "help with pain" which in other words pump with drugs.

DO NOT RISK YOUR LIFE WITH MEDIC ALERT FOUNDATION On April…read more17, 2025, I ordered a QR Code Dog Tag Medical ID Necklace from the Medic Alert Foundation and signed up for one year of their 24/7 Emergency Protection service. On April 21, 2025, I received an email stating, "Your order has shipped! Please note: Your shipment will arrive in approximately 8-10 business days." By May 3, 2025, the product had still not arrived. I emailed Medic Alert's member services team to report the delay and asked where the item was being shipped from. I'm very familiar with typical shipping times in the area--having spent 20 years mailing packages to and from the neighboring town--and nothing has ever taken more than four or five days. Instead of answering my question, the representative told me to wait a full month before reaching out again. In my experience, only packages coming from overseas, such as China, take that long. On May 8, 2025, I emailed again to say the product still had not arrived and again asked for the shipping origin. My question was ignored a second time. Once again, I was simply told to wait a month. When my doctor advised me to get a medical alert ID, it wasn't a casual suggestion. She made it very clear: without emergency medical identification, I could die. On May 13, 2025, I informed the Medic Alert team--via email--that due to this experience and the critical nature of the service, I had completely lost confidence in their ability to meet my emergency medical needs. I requested a full refund and the cancellation of my subscription. I also mailed a formal letter outlining my complaint to Karen Cassel, President and CEO of the Medic Alert Foundation. As of May 24, 2025, I have received no response and still have not received my order. Since requesting a refund, all communication from Medic Alert has ceased. I now have zero trust in this organization and would never rely on them in an emergency. Given Medic Alert Foundation's origin story and mission, I imagine there was a time when this was a truly great organization providing an essential service. Unfortunately, my experience, along with hundreds of other more recent reviews, suggests they have lost sight of that mission entirely.

Around 8pm on march 21st my cat started having trouble breathing and she started convulsing. She wasn't breathing until my brother would shake her to start breathing again. We rushed her to this emergency clinic but she sadly passed away in my brothers arms in the car just two minutes from the clinic. The team was fantastic. One of the members there who took my cat to the back let us stay there for as long as I needed and didn't judge me for crying loudly. My mother paid $600 in total for my beloved cat to be cremated and to have a clay print of her paws which in my opinion is a great price. About a week(ish) later we got to pick up her ashes and the clay print we were promised and I believe the team went above and beyond. I received a card with the team's signatures and a certificate of cremation.

Everyone to help were female and extremely compassionate and competent. The vet techs were friendly and knowledgeable and my cats have always been treated very well. They treated our Titi so well when he held to be held over the weekend, and allowed us calls and checkups to see how he was doing. They were all so sweet and let us know how much they loved him. I recently had to put a stray I had been caring for down and they were so kind and patient and even recognized my mom as Titis owner. It felt like they really cared. They explained everything and got him cleaned up so that he could have a dignified farewell. We got his clay paws and they gave us two cards for both my boyfriend and I (we didn't know they'd do this and it was such a thoughtful thing to do) with an ink print of his little snout on it along with some signatures. My only negative experiences have been with the purple haired girl there. She is usually sitting at the desk. The way she speaks to pet parents there is appalling. I've watched her flat out ignore customers if they are not standing exactly where she wants them in line, cut people off, and just be extremely rude as well as not relaying necessary information until prompted. I understand needing to be firm and calm in stressful situations, but the other workers there can do it without belittling and making just nasty and unnecessary comments. She was being so unpleasant to the people in the waiting room regardless of what they were there for. I couldn't believe her lack of decency and talent for escalating calm and respectful situations to anger and irritation.

She fulfilled above and beyond my expectations. Having Doula Stephanie by my side, I had more than just a physical supprt person I had an emotional and mental support person, a cheerleader, a planner, and a friend. I had someone who believed in me and was able to help me reach my goals even when the odds seemed against me. A little to my back story, my first two sons were born prematurely. One at 31 weeks and the other at 35 weeks. Due to having two premature babies my OB was almost certain I would go into preterm labor again. As scary as that sounded I was determined to do what it took to have a healthy pregnancy, smooth labor and delivery. That was when I met Doula Stephanie at such a divine time. Despite knowing my pregnancy history she worked with me every step of the way and was determined to help me achieve the pregnancy/birth I dreamed of. With all of Stephanie's wisdom and encouragement I was able to successfully feel confident going into labor and not be fearful of what was to come. I felt educated and empowered and actually looked forward to owning that labor room. I felt proud of all the fears I conquered. One of my favorite parts about having Doula Stephanie there along my side was she help guide my husband to be there for me. She did not replace him, instead she allowed his strengths to shine and that I believed brought such an intimacy during my labor that I will forever be thankful for. My husband cannot thank Doula Stephanie enough for everything she did for us. Get yourself a Doula! I am so grateful to have found mine.
