We are deeply grateful to Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock for the incredible care and support…read morethey provided to our surrogate, our baby, and us as intended parents. From start to finish, the entire team went above and beyond what we could have hoped for. * The nurses, technicians, and staff were amazing -- extremely hard-working, passionate, and clearly dedicated to their patients. * The clinic was very supportive of us as intended parents and had a strong understanding of the surrogacy process, which made us feel respected and included. * The nursing team ensured that we were heard and thoughtfully made sure we could interact with our son the very moment he was born. That meant the world to us. * The staff also showed extraordinary kindness by giving us a room in the postpartum section even before our baby was born, so that we could stay close to our surrogate during labor and delivery. Since labor lasted 2.5 days, this was a tremendous gift of comfort and connection. * The hospital itself is thoughtfully designed -- the small open courtyards and green spaces provided us with brief but meaningful moments of respite during an emotional journey. We also want to highlight Dr. Felix Sanchez, who worked closely with the Emanuel Medical Center team. With over 40 years of experience, his expertise and commitment gave us confidence at every step. He is tireless, splitting time between his clinic and the hospital, and was always available when needed. Together with the hospital's staff, he ensured the safest outcome for both surrogate and baby. Emanuel Medical Center truly supported us beyond what we expected. Their professionalism, compassion, and humanity made one of the most important experiences of our lives even more meaningful. We will always be grateful for their care and for the hard work of every member of the team.

I've now been in the ER for 3 hours. I waited another 5 hours before I saw the doctor who gave me a diagnosis. I feel that 8 hours is far too long.

The Managing nurse on the 3rd floor was perfect and so was Tiffani. I knew my wife was in good hands. I was so glad that I took my wife to Emmanuel for treatment. Thank you very much. Joe

This hospital is now Central Valley Doctors Health System. I brought my 86 Yr old mother here…read moreyesterday, Monday, December 28, 2026. Everything was good with registration, got triage immediately and called in the a room right off the lobby to speak with a doctor. The problem I have is with the ER doctor who was discrimating against my mother because if her age and had the audacity to ask if she was born in the United States as he had tried speaking Spanish and English to her but she didn't respond. I told him my mother was more of an American Citizen than anyone in this hospital as she if Native American, born in Minnesota. On top of his racism he had the nerve to pressure me into making a life choice for my mother or he was not going to put in the order for a CT Scan with contrast to see if her arteries were clogged. I told him I did not have to make that decision before having her tests done. He needed to do all the testing required and have the house doctor and Neurologist speak with me first before I can make a decision on any surgery. This is not a good hospital and I will be filing complaints with the proper authorities! My mother has been admitted per the Neurologist and waiting on a MRI w/contrast of her brain, Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2025. She has been without any nutrients or hydration for over 24 Hrs, no IV bag for hydration. Will update!

No, I would not recommend Dr Mohamed E. Eldaly (Emanuel Specialty Care Medical Oncology - Turlock,…read moreCalifornia). My mother received treatment from Dr. Eldaly and he would not listen to her, she did not get the care she deserved. We told him multiple times the treatment was not working and he refused to listen to her. When we had office visits we told him multiple times how bad she was doing and he was dismissive. With my experience and in my opinion Dr. Eldaly is arrogant, condescending, and dismissive.

I attached 2 photos to give substance & proof that the person registering me for my annual Women's…read moreWellness visit was grossly incorrect in her delivery of "accurate" information to me as far as what my out-of-pocket was going to be. I responded saying that I've had this same information and have already contacted my healthcare company prior to today's visit to learn of the co-pay I would have which is typically $40 for this type of service; a bilateral mammogram. She continued to "educate me" on the "why" and "what" reasons and coverages set by my insurance, not the facility. She was still grossly incorrect in the information. She explained to me that I first have to satisfy my deductible and or maximum out-of-pocket limits Anthem set and that is the "why" the estimated out-of-pocket of $811.45 was accurate and that $800 of that amount is going to satisfy the deductible. I was already under stress, fear, and uncertainty about the dates radiological procedures because my paternal aunt just died of metastasized breast cancer which also engulfed her bones. So now I've got an employee lecturing me at length as to "why this information of $811.45 is absolutely correct as per my health insurance and the mandatory deductible due". I have a soft spot for this Emanuel Cancer Center and have been having my female health needs done here when I could go elsewhere. I have just always felt as safe as I could while here. I'm not going to stop coming here however just because of this unfortunate yet preventable business office fiasco but I would like to see this type of unnecessarily stressful situation become extinct. I think the worst of it is either the employee was disallowed to behave any other way or, incorrect training maybe? They could also reach out to leadership with Anthem BC and inform them of these unacceptable outcomes when inquiring for patient services. Either way, all 3 options could lead to higher patient satisfaction ratings and less stress & anxiety for everyone involved.
