I was really excited and hopeful about my Botox treatments and fillers at Aesthetic Labs at 2909 Coffee Rd, Ste 12D, Modesto, CA 95355 with Gifty. She had only positive reviews online about her aesthetic clinic. I've spent over $6,000 with her. My maiden visit in her Aesthetic Labs cost over $4,000. My left eyebrow drooped 1 week after my treatment while I was on vacation. It didn't seem to bother her that I was embarrassed. A conversation with or pamphlet for clients about how results may go sideways would be helpful. She gave me additional Botox injections and eye drops to make my left eye bigger than my right eye. It was several days before my eyebrows evened out. I did not use the eye drops. My next visit was a free bday facial that destroyed my sensitive skin barrier. I called the office; Gifty's staff proved unhelpful. I visited my dermatologist who treated my issue. My last visit to Aesthetics Labs on Coffee Rd for forehead Botox left me with over 45 Botox BUMPS ($800.00) in rows on my face. (I'll try to include pics.) Needless to say, I was devastated. I couldn't leave my house for over 5 days. Gifty and I share similar ethnicity, and I gave her every chance to listen to me. I was rooting for her business to be successful. I gave Gifty one last effort to assist me. I simply asked her to call me. She hasn't called me back to this day (over 2 months), and I spent over $6,000.00 in her business. I won't return to Gifty's Aesthetic Labs. Many folks have posted different opinions. They could not have had a negative experience. After getting Botox for a couple of years at a well known Med Spa in Modesto, I wanted to check into changing skincare providers. Different searches for recommendations and researching reviews lead me to make an initial appointment to check out Aesthetic Lab, where I met Gifty and her team for the first time, the first week in January. Let me tell you, I couldn't have been more impressed! I learned more about my skin and different treatment options in that initial "get to know you" appointment than I had in the entire 2.5 years at the previous Med Spa I'd been going to. The previous Med Spa went downhill for me when they kept changing the person doing my Botox and I would get different results depending on who did the treatment. I requested to have the same person, but that sometimes happened, sometimes not. My appointments were re-scheduled one too many times at the last minute as well. I was reassured at Aesthetic Lab, that Gifty would always be my provider at every appointment. I was scheduled for a two week follow up to make sure I was happy, and I absolutely am! The results are excellent! The entire team made me feel welcomed and it is clear that everyone there is well trained and they care about their clients. I had my first appointment in November to discuss migraine treatment and prevention, and had my second appt just this morning! My initial appt was to see how Botox could help for migraines, and I was shocked by how much my symptoms improved; pre-Botox, I would suffer from migraine with aura, various physical symptoms, and couldn't complete tasks at my physically demanding job. Me and my daughter took a trip to cosmo Prof this morning and it turned into a "let's stop In and check it out" decision to look into Botox for me. I was in the seat in 10 min. Bri took me back, answered my questions (it's been 8 years since I had my only treatment) explained everything and was so helpful and sweet. Dr Gifty came in and immediately I was completely comfortable. What a friendly woman as well! After my easy peasy forehead pokes my daughter inquired about lip injections. Due to the thorough, kind and non invasive way they went about explaining it (and offering a coupon) she was next in the seat. Something I had already decided to do on my own through a website but my husband made the comment that he would prefer to pay more and have them care for me and guide me through this journey than pay less and do it on my own. I've been coming to Aesthetic Lab for two years now. Both locations are cute, clean and welcoming! The girls that work here are super kind, they will answer all of your questions to their best of knowledge during a consultation. So normally you wouldn't let anyone just poke at your face with any type of Botox/fillers/etc but I totally recommend both Tiff and Gifty, The nurse practitioner Tiff truly takes her time to answer all the questions you have, and won't rush you at all, she makes you feel comfortable and gives you her honest opinions/advice. I love coming and seeing her at the Turlock location. Gifty of course is just as amazing! She's so quick with what she does and you're just in and out. She will answer all of your questions to the best of her knowledge and focus on you and what you want, but at the same time not sell you more then what you need. DO NOT go here. I have been going to gifty even before she was well known. Followed her from previous clinics until she got her own place. I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars getting my lip fillers with her. My lips are completely ruined. Migration up to my nose, even with seeing that she not once turned me down for lip filler as a professional all she wanted was my money. I reached out to dissolve and got 2 sessions free of charge. during the second session they tried to charge me and made me uncomfortable to even want to return, regardless I still called and told them to ask if I had to pay and they ignored me for 2 days I just canceled. That was my answer. Why would I even have to pay over something SHE RUINED HERSELF. Now I have sent pics to another office and they couldn't believe an actual nurse did that to my lips, there actual words were "did you go to an actual nurse? "An actual office?" Came here and got botched lip filler dissolved and then had 1.5 m of lip filler. Only to find out they didn't dissolve the filler enough the first time, so the new filler was botched AGAIN. Not only that but her technique was poor, my lips We're not bigger and immediately migrated!! Not only that but my cupids bow was uneven, even after she tried to fix it multiple times. I came in this Tuesday for the first time, for a consultation with Gifty. I was interested in forehead Botox and a lip flip as subtle enchantments to my appearance. I had heard great things about this place and was very excited for my appointment. I did some research but ultimately decided that the injector would probably know best and would provide the right guidance because this was my first ever Botox experience. Unfortunately that was not the case. I feel like the "consultation" part and actual treatment were rushed, and they were in a hurry to get to the next patient. Gifty and another nurse came in ready to inject and maybe spent a minute talking to me about my concerns and what I needed. They explained that a lip flip would probably not give me the results I was looking for, and suggested a full syringe of lip filler ($500+) instead. I appreciated their honesty here and decided to hold off on a lip treatment. For my forehead, she recommended 35 units of Botox and since I trusted their judgment and had no other knowledge, we went ahead with it. Looking back now, I feel like my naivety was taken advantage of. Getting 35 units of Botox in just my forehead for my first time ever, at just 25 years old, feels like crazy work. It feels like I was ripped off and given the wrong guidance. I'm honestly really regretting my decision to come here and wish there was a way I could go back and stop myself from getting so many units injected in my forehead. The office space is really cute, clean, and the staff was nice, but I do wish I had better, honest, and genuine guidance. The entire experience has left me feeling sad, disappointed, and regretful of my decision to come here. read more

So I went to the Stockton location and received a vampire facial from Jolie! I had a baby a last year and I've been looking to get my skin care and face back on track. Motherhood wipes you out! Jolie was so welcoming and professional! She walked me through every step of the service and explained each step and the benefits of the facial I chose. After getting Botox somewhere else and really seeing results. I remembered to come back to write a review about my previous experience here. It was alright, but I feel like the product they used is watered down. Dr.Gifty is lovely but she bruised me and it was just Botox.! That never has happened to me. And idk if the Botox wasn't mixed well or diluted because it left my forehead area lumpy and I did not see any results, just a lumpy forehead and I was still able to make expressions 1 month in.
