I had a appointment at peek a baby today at 9am but just got out of the ER, when I get home I have a call from them and a email saying that because I didn't show up I will be charged 115.00. So I called and talked to a girl named Crystal to let her know that I'm sorry that I didnt show up but I was in the ER and just got home, and that I'm sorry but I wont be paying for that when it wasn't like i missed it on purpose. SO then she tells me and I should have called and let them know or that my husband should have called to cancel but since they didn't hear from me I'm being charged. I told her look put yourself in my shoes would you have called a place when your in the ER because of the baby to cancel a appointment? I'm sure she wouldn't right. I let her know as well that I have already been there 2 times so it wasn't like I wouldn't have gone but things happen. So she goes on telling me how I'm still going to get billed until I pay for it. Really come on pay for it. I wouldn't recommend them to now one after this experience to me and my husband they care more about money then a person well being. How can they say they are all about families when to me they don't. ... They should understand things do happen to people that we don't expect . Bad Business Ethics To Me...... Then after I wrote this the owner emailed me this..... Ms. Vargas I am the owner of Peek A Baby. This morning you no-showed for an appointment scheduled with us. You did not offer our other clients the common decency of a phone call or an email, but rather made everyone wait for you. As per our policy you were billed for this No-show, as is clearly stated on our cancellation policy. You then called our office and began yelling and using vulgarity towards my staff rather than explaining anything you attacked them with slurs. You have also proceeded to write frivolous and slanderous remarks about my business online, copies of all these are in our office. Ms. Vargas please be advised I am an attorney and if you do not cease and desist immediately with your slanderous and frivolous remarks I will not hesitate in filing a law suit against you immediately. I will monitor the sites where you have posted these items and if they are not removed immediately you leave me no choice but to pursue legal action against you. First time coming here with my husband since he isn't allowed at the doctors appointments which its very sad and disappointing and let me tell you i saw the reviews and was a little worried at first but still decided to go in my self and check it out since alot of the people who leave bad reviews in alot of the places sometimes is just because they didn't get something there way or simply because. When i called to schedule the girl who answered was really nice she let me know of all the packages i am only 23 wks pregnant and she let me know that 25-30 wks was the best but i still decided to go, she let me know i had to be there 15 min prior and to hydrate alot . The day of my appointment i was running late and got there right on the dot and the receptionist was busy with another customer so i waited she asked me if i had an appointment gave her my name and she let me know i was late and I explained i was really sorry i overbooked my self and if there was any way they could see me even at a later time the receptionist asked her manager and the manager checked the schedule and said i could have a seat and had to wait till they saw the other customer who had came on time which i was okay with since i know i was late and its unfair for everyone else i filled paper work out which was really self explanatory and paid went ahead and got their Heart beat bear which was adorable maybe 30 min went by and they called me in and let me tell you the room in very big and smells really good in there the young girl with the green-ish hair was really nice waited at the door for us to come in asked how our day was and so on , during the session she was talkative she explained that my baby was still small but big enough to where i can see my baby girls face it was adorable at first our baby was being difficult the tech let me move around and let me use the bathroom after maybe 4 min she came back in and continued thankfully our baby moved so we got some great pictures and it was just amazing she let us facetime my mom who was under the weather so was not able to come it was definitely such an amazing experience thanks to all the young ladies. I definitely will be coming back maybe around 30 wks they let me know i will get a 20% for coming back with the same pregnancy or a 50% if i come within 2 weeks from this appointment and get the same package. I had bad experiences with ultrasounds with my first pregnancy, and this one as well, so I went looking for a new place to go to, and I knew I would have to pay since my insurance only covers two and my doctor scheduled me too early to see the gender. So, I found Peek A Baby. I immediately saw that it was in Modesto, and that threw me off because I live 30 minutes from Merced, on the further side from Modesto. But I decided to look at their website anyways to see if it would be worth it. And I am so glad I did. I booked my appointment online, and they were already closed for the day, but they called me to confirm my appointment, and then emailed me after the call as well, which I thought was great! So I went to my appointment today, and I realized that I had gotten a 5 minute package and not a ten minute one so I decided to ask them if they would allow me to bump it up to the "sneak peek" and there was no one directly after me, so they said yes! I got my appointment while they had their sale, and I got the "Sneak peek" for $60 instead of the usual $80. And I got a heartbeat bear with my baby's heartbeat from the session for $25 extra and it's normally $31!!! Well, as we got into the room they let me go to the bathroom first (thank god because I really had to go!), yet I was worried I wouldn't be able to get to see little one very well. But I was wrong! The first thing when my husband and I got into the room, the technician asked if we knew the gender, and we briefly told her how our doctor screwed up our appointment, and the first thing she did was check the gender. We're having our baby boy like we wanted! :) Our son was sleeping most of the time and the placenta was in the way, but the lady was nice enough to take our 10 minute appointment and kept us there for about 40 minutes just to get a few good pictures because she said she hates that sometimes people walk out disappointed. Well we sure weren't! We got 9 really good pictures (the 9th was because we checked in on facebook!) although they could've been better but that was only because our son wanted to sleep! Great Place! This is the First time my husband and I ever been here. We have a 14month old and with her we went to a different place in Pleaston. But with this pregnancy we decide to give it a try here in Modesto. We originally visit the office 2 times and decide to go thru with it at a spare of a moment kind of thing. (We where actually heading to babies R' Us to do shopping. Until, we glanced over and seen it didn't look to busy. So my family and I went in and they had an open spot for us and we waited for 7 minutes to get called back. (Which was Awesome) durning the processes of waiting Angela was at the front desk. She was Very Friendly, professional, and she was extremely helpful. Once we got called back into the room. It was Awesome. Very spacious, light gentle baby music, soothing for parents and family. Huge TV screen. Comfortable nice couches and bed for mommy to lay on. I was very pleased so far with our experience. Laneea who did our Ultrasound Pic did the very best she could for Us. Our baby was being very stubborn. Lol wouldn't show us her face. But Laneea got a few good photos with her face. Even though some photos of her face she is covering with her hands, feet etc. But she was very patient, very sweet, soft spoken, and made not just mine and my husband's experience perfect but our 11yr old, 7yr old and 14month old girls feel comfortable. She would engage our children to see baby on the screen. Made it very exciting for all of Us as a family. From the moment I step foot into the office all the way till the time we left. We had a positive experience. I would recommend this location and thinking of going back to give it a try to see baby's face again. 50% off on our same package deal as long as we go back before 2weeks. Oh! My sister recommended peek a baby to find out the gender of my first baby. She had told me she had a great experience (almost 3 years ago) and was able to find out the sex of my nephew at 15 weeks(I'm 16 weeks 3 days). I decided after my appointment was booked to check the yelp reviews. Almost every review I read had terrible things to say about the Modesto location and I began to second guess going, but since a gift certificate covering the cost of the sneak peek package had already been given to me I didn't have much of a choice. I tried printing the certificate from my home computer and was having technical difficulties, but luckily the girls down at peek a baby were able to print the certificate for me right there. When I got to my appointment I was given a friendly greeting from both the girls at the front desk and was taken to the room as soon as I finished filling out some papers. The room was nicely set up with couches that would perfectly accommodate just about any size group. The baby was being rather camera shy when it came to the 3D pictures but the girl doing the ultrasound was very sweet and patient until we could get a good shot. When we tried to get a recording of the heartbeat for the stuffed animal we purchased the baby was, again, being less than cooperative. The girl was still very nice and patient and kept trying until we got the perfect recording. I would definitely recommend peek a baby for any woman looking to find out the gender of her baby or if you're looking to get great 3D pictures for a good price. Cozy environment and wonderful staff. I had my "Sneak Peek" today at just over 28 weeks pregnant and found out I'll be expecting a baby girl. (First 3D by the way) We drove over an hour for our appointment and were greeted with exceptional customer service. I filled out my forms and waited briefly for the couple ahead of me to finish their session. While waiting however I was asked if I needed anything and given information about what to expect when it was our time. That alone made me feel special and I should right? Absolutley! Then came my turn. The room was very cozy. A nicely sized couch where my Husband could sit and view the ultrasound. They played relaxing lullabye music softly during the entire session (that made the moment all the more precious for me) and their complete establishment was immaculate. It was amazing how well I was able to see her and the technician who did my ultrasound made me feel very comfortable/relaxed. She was a real sweetie. When my daughter covered her face she had me move around and let me know everything she was doing or going to do. That was a real plus, especially with my 9 year old gazing on in awe. I really feel they gave me the most out of my session. My pictures, cd and over-all experience exceeded my expectations by far. I'm going back for another session really soon and I am SUPER EXCITED! My husband, 3 year old daughter, and I came here on Saturday for the heartbeat peak and we are so glad we did. I don't understand all the bad reviews because our experience was great. They asked us to show up 15 minutes early to fill out some papers but we were running behind schedule and ended up only being 5 minutes early. The staff was very nice about it. We did end up getting in a little later than our appointment by maybe 20 minutes but I didn't mind at all. It was exciting seeing all the families coming out and happily announcing the gender of their baby and the staff seemed very excited for everyone. When it was finally our turn, I was very nervous as we hadn't had an ultrasound yet because my doctor's office doesn't do them until 12 weeks unless you are high risk. I was only 10 weeks along. The lady found my baby very quickly and look some cute pictures for us. She let us listen to the heartbeat and also pointed out the arms and legs and was very nice to my 3 year old who was there with us. She showed us that the baby was kicking around which was very cute and made my daughter excited. The wait was longer than the visit but for the low cost and friendly staff, it was definitely worth it. My husband and I already are planning on going back at 17 weeks to find out the gender and again at 30 weeks for the longer 3d/4d package. read more

This location has unprofessional staff, i drove 2hrs and paid For the biggest package with this being my first pregnancy and by far have gaven me the worst experience and customer service I have ever received the live video of my ultra sound session was never sent to my email i called within the week of my appointment back in April to let them know i never recieved it one of the girls told me she would call me back never did i called back again and was told the video is expired there is nothing they can do for me. I asked to speak someone higher to explain how upset i was and too see if i could be accomidated Yet again they told me they would call back and never did. This being the 4th time i called they told me now the link for the video that is sent to my email was no longer working. And i would recieve another call back when i did i was offered to Go to the location closest to me that is now open and i have to pay again and they can give a discount. Fresno location called and apologized and offered for me to come in a re do the whole session no charge and was super professional and nice about the whole situation unlike the staff in Modesto location who said she would not give me her name and very short and rude with me. I visited the office Oct 1st and my ultrasound technician was wonderful my original appointment was at 12:10 but my daughter kept pulling her umbilical cord I front of her face so we didn't have super clear images also I'm really tiny so my daughter tends to sit in my hips hard to see her face on ultrasounds. The tech (Latoya) told us to walk around grab something to eat and some sugary drinks and come back at two so we could get better images. We came walked around for a hour and came back at two and we were able to get great images of my daughter even had a couple shots of her with her eyes opening. Latoya was super helpful she did everything to make sure me and my partner were able to see my daughter she even showed us in the 2d images how much hair our baby girl had. We came all the way from Sacramento to get a glimpse and it was so worth it. Both ladies working in the office are wonderful and make you feel very comfortable. We even upgraded and got a bunny with our baby's heart beat and Latoya made sure we had a loud recording for our babies bunny. Totally worth the drive and the money this place is wonderful. read more

Peek A Baby was recommended to me by my sister in law and I can't complain. I had looked around at other places but from what the website offers and the recommendation I had, I chose peek a baby. I called and set the appointment and the staff let me know which trimester be best for me to come in. It is convenient they are open weekends. I was so happy with the experience and results. Peek a baby takes that extra step to make you and your family members feel excited and relax. The session was not rushed, they have beverages for you and seats for the whole family. I liked how they have the tv for everyone to see the images instead of all surrounding the monitor. Another thing I liked was that due to unable to see the baby they had me come back an hour later and as recommended to eat sweets so we could take a peek at the baby. The staff is very friendly and they enjoy their job. For an extra couple of bucks I was able to get my sons heart beat recorded and chose a stuff animal of my liking. No matter what I will always have his heartbeat. I definitely recommend peek a baby for your 2d, 3d, or HD ultrasound. read more

I have gone to Peek a Baby about 3 times before this last time so a total of 4 times. And every time I have gone the girls have been nothing but friendly even when they had a waiting room full of people. I have gotten 3 different girls the times I had gone and each one was just as friendly as the last. They each went out of their way to take a bit longer and even threw in extra pictures and showed 3D/4D even when it wasn't included in the package I had purchased. This last time, I was helped by Rebecca who stayed patient even while my baby was being stubborn and didn't want to show his face. She even gave me a Gatorade to help the baby move. She mentioned they offered a redo free of charge and did mention it was only Monday thru Friday. We asked if we could come back later that day and she made it happen. When we came back a couple hours later she greeted us just as happily as she had earlier. She gave us an excellent experience and I'm so glad we had her attending us today! A few years ago I went to their office in Fresno and when my sister in Modesto needed to find a place close to her I told her don't go anywhere but Peek A Baby. So yesterday we went and from the moment we walked in I knew my sister would love her experience. The staff was very happy and welcoming. They actually were genuinely as happy as for us as we were and that showed. The office is super big with lots of room and they had a bunch of really cute baby stuff for sale in the lobby. The entire ultrasound was super fun and the quality of the pictures was amazing! When I did it HD was not out and this new stuff is absolutely mind blowing!! My sister got a great bunch of pictures, a dvd recording, and a cd with all the pictures. We really enjoyed our visit and I'm so glad I told her to come here. We highly recommend Peek A Baby. P.S. I see a few bad reviews and honestly I have no clue where these people are coming from because neither of our visits were anything similar to what they say actually complete opposite. I came in for the Brief Peek package and was amazed at how well everything turned out . I was greeted by Maya and Anise, who were absolutely amazing (even though I arrived 5 minutes prior to my appointment time) , it took about 5 minutes to fill out their paperwork and right after we were able to check on our little baby. I didn't receive the ultrasound tech's name, however, SHE was amazing and made me feel so comfortable during the entire experience. As soon as she put warm jelly on my belly the baby began to kick. She asked my guests and I if we wanted to know the gender (which we did) and low and behold it was a BOYYYY. Mother's intuition told me he was a boy but seeing his little face made me tear up with joy. Such an amazing experience for both his dad and myself. I'd recommend Peek A Baby to anyone I know who's expecting a child and wants a unique experience. When it was all said and done I received a DVD with sound , numerous black and white 2D sonograms , about 5 3D sonograms and in addition we paid for a gender reveal box and heartbeat teddy. read more
