I've been a LaserAway customer at the San Francisco location for over two years, spent over 25k with them. While there were occasional minor issues, the staff always addressed them promptly and were genuinely amazing to work with. Unfortunately, after recently moving and transferring to the Tracy location, my experience has been the complete opposite. Just 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment, I received a call informing me they were running behind and needed to push my appointment back 30 minutes. Not a huge deal. Things happen, and I completely understand that. However, when I finally arrived, the nurse completed my entire back, arms, and shoulders in UNDER 10 MINUTES. For context, I've been receiving these exact treatments for over two years, and they have consistently taken 30-40 minutes. It was painfully obvious that the treatment was rushed, and the results reflected exactly that. But what really turned an already disappointing experience into an unacceptable one was the complete lack of accountability from management. I attempted to resolve the issue directly with Olivia, the Tracy location manager. After approximately six calls to the store and TWO WEEKS of waiting, she finally returned my call. Unfortunately, that conversation accomplished absolutely nothing. She explained that she needed approval to resolve the situation and assured me she would follow up. That follow-up never happened. Since then, I've repeatedly contacted LaserAway's corporate office, only to be met with the same lack of communication and resolution. Here's the bottom line: LaserAway is great when everything goes smoothly. But the moment something goes wrong, good luck getting anyone to take responsibility. As someone who has been a loyal, paying customer for over two years, I find it incredibly disappointing that management, both at the local and corporate levels, has shown so little interest in making things right. Mistakes happen. Appointments run late. Employees have off days. I understand all of that. What separates a reputable company from a bad one is how it handles those mistakes. Unfortunately, LaserAway has demonstrated a complete lack of accountability, follow-through, and respect for its customers. At this point, it genuinely feels like once they have your money, your satisfaction is no longer a priority. My advice? Find a company that actually stands behind the quality of its work, values its customers, and holds its employees and management accountable.
