Extremely Disappointing Experience - Zero Accountability from Management It's honestly pretty sad to have to write this review. I've been a LaserAway customer at the San Francisco location for over two years, spent over 25k with them. While there were occasional minor issues, the staff always addressed them promptly and were genuinely amazing to work with. Unfortunately, after recently moving and transferring to the Tracy location, my experience has been the complete opposite. Just 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment, I received a call informing me they were running behind and needed to push my appointment back 30 minutes. Not a huge deal. Things happen, and I completely understand that. However, when I finally arrived, the nurse completed my entire back, arms, and shoulders in UNDER 10 MINUTES. For context, I've been receiving these exact treatments for over two years, and they have consistently taken 30-40 minutes. It was painfully obvious that the treatment was rushed, and the results reflected exactly that. But what really turned an already disappointing experience into an unacceptable one was the complete lack of accountability from management. I attempted to resolve the issue directly with Olivia, the Tracy location manager. After approximately six calls to the store and TWO WEEKS of waiting, she finally returned my call. Unfortunately, that conversation accomplished absolutely nothing. She explained that she needed approval to resolve the situation and assured me she would follow up. That follow-up never happened. Since then, I've repeatedly contacted LaserAway's corporate office, only to be met with the same lack of communication and resolution. Here's the bottom line: LaserAway is great when everything goes smoothly. But the moment something goes wrong, good luck getting anyone to take responsibility. As someone who has been a loyal, paying customer for over two years, I find it incredibly disappointing that management, both at the local and corporate levels, has shown so little interest in making things right. Mistakes happen. Appointments run late. Employees have off days. I understand all of that. What separates a reputable company from a bad one is how it handles those mistakes. Unfortunately, LaserAway has demonstrated a complete lack of accountability, follow-through, and respect for its customers. Very disappointed with my experience. I got Botox and fillers here, and afterward my eyes became droopy and uneven, almost like a lazy eye, and I had significant bruising around my mouth. I was told to wait 2-3 weeks, but after two weeks I'm still unhappy with the results. I asked for a refund for the fillers because I no longer trust them to work on my face and want to have the work corrected somewhere else. Instead of resolving the issue, I've been given the runaround for three days. Based on my experience, I would not recommend getting Botox or fillers here. This review is long overdue. I bought a 10 session package to remove a tattoo it hurt like Hell!! Your product for numbing cream didn't work a bit. I think I have 6 more left to do, anyways my one star review is because I got my lips injected by some young inexperience incompetent or probably was the receptionist, completely didn't know what she was doing at the end of December 2025 completely bruised my whole lips very painful. I have never experienced this before and it did not do anything but bruised terribly bad look like I got punched in my mouth and finally after the bruising went away a month later there was no change or enhancement at all! I've had this done with no bruising no pain and good results at my other place but wanted to give them a try. I will not go back there ever and I haven't been back there since to finish up removing the rest of the tattoo. Definitely not recommended by these unexperienced people that work here it just shows this person needed more practice and her injections to master her art in lip injections. I called the customer service line to ensure my clear + brilliant appointment was confirmed 30 minutes prior to my arrival into the clinic (I couldn't call the clinic because it was before opening hours) and I checked the app to see that my appointment was confirmed and it was confirmed both on the call and in the app. I show up and they said they have been "trying to reach me" to tell me that they double booked, but I hadn't gotten any call at all. This has been a frustrating experience from the beginning. I almost felt harassed when they were trying to sell me on all the packages. So many contacts/texts all the time. But they are very nice to you when they're trying to take your money. After you signed the deal, the customer service seems to go away. Now I'm stuck with 18 months of payments and crappy service. There was no communication to me of the prep that needed to be done for the first appointment. I wasted over an hour of my time driving to and from the Tracy location just to be told they couldn't see me that day because I didn't do the prep work that they didn't tell me to do!! When I rescheduled it, the session went OK, but they drew me up with a bunch of chalk on my legs and didn't give me anything to clean it off afterwards. I was wearing shorts and it looked ridiculous. Then actually getting a competent human being to assist me was quite difficult. I had to literally scrape it off with one ply toilet paper in the bathroom. I would like to preface this by saying that not only did I love the nursing staff at laser away but I have no negative things to say about them, on the contrary I wrote a great review for one of the specific nurses that gave me my second treatment when I just started. My one star review is solely based on the customer service and the business handling them self in a completely unprofessional and in my option rude manner that left me as a customer feeling TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. I originally purchased a package that included 6 treatments of IPL for a quite hearty price of over 1,000 dollars to help with my rosacea. I did the whole routine of FaceTiming a nurse who agreed this would be beneficial for my skin and my concerns. I was very excited and like most eager women to fix an insecurity I obviously didn't read the fine print. the nurses were wonderful and professional but I immediately felt some pretty severe pain from the treatment. The only thing I noticed was my freckles were lighter but my skin was extremely red which is the opposite of what I wanted. I continued for 3 complete treatments and on the 4th treatment I had scheduled I told the nurse I was super unhappy with the results and had actually been scared on my nose from the laser. She told me she didn't think I should continue and I completely agreed! No positive improvement on my skin just even more visible redness from the two red dots where I believe I was burned. I went to the front desk and asked them what I could do or if I could get a refund, they said no but I could transfer the remaining money I had to another service. I had already completed laser hair removal so I said I would call back to see what I wanted. When I called back to see how much money remained on my account they said they had marked me down for completing my 4th treatment which wasn't factual, I cancel the treatment before I received the 4th laser session, the girl I was speaking too sounded new and unaware of how to handle the situation she put me on hold and then I was hung up on. I was in the process of moving during this time and had to table the issue for the time being. I proceeded to call back 2 more times and send 2 separate emails regarding resolving the issue of being charged for an extra treatment. EVERY-TIME I spoke to somebody they said they couldn't help but would immediately have somebody contact me to resolve this. By the time somebody finally called me back her name was Karen from a 650 area code. I explained how frustrated and upsetting this whole process had been and I just wanted my money back for the treatments I hadn't received but most importantly for the faulty customer service follow up. Not only did Karen give off a condescending tone she told me she said we don't refund it's in our contract. I said I'm aware of that but since I had waited since September to finally get a call back I thought they could make an exception for such poor customer service, while I was talking I heard her typing something and during our conversation she screenshot a picture of there policy of no refunds completely ignoring my frustration after such an ordeal. What I wanted was simple, fix the fact that I didn't want to be charged for a 4th treatment I never recieved and move the funds of my remaining treatment to another procedure. She said she would have to speak to the nurse who providdd the treatment 2 years prior to confirm I didn't revive that 4th treatment before she could refund me. I sad ok when can I expect a call back and she said within 48 hours. That was 7 days ago and I haven't heard back. At this point I am so disgusted with how this situation was handled or for a better term not handled and will never step foot in the laser away business again, they can rob me of my remaining balance and they won't hear back from me after this but I refuse to be silent and not let EVERY single person that's interested in one of there treatments to know how this company operates or at least how Karen from laser away operates. The fake "hey girl" tone I received from Karen and then when I asked to speak to somebody above her that could better assist me turned into condescending and rude vibe with no follow up is crazy laser away would allow that for people that spend thousand of dollars. Update: they follow up with what feels like a robot "I'm so sorry message" and ask you to ONCE AGAIN contact them to get assistance on the matter. So your telling me 4 lengthy phone calls and several emails with out ANY FORM of resolution isn't enough. Extremely Disappointed After Years of Loyalty I've been a loyal LaserAway client for almost two years and, up until recently, my in-person experiences at both the Tracy and Porter Ranch locations were always great. The staff at both locations are kind, professional and have consistently provided excellent service--which makes this review especially disappointing to write. Unfortunately, the scheduling process has been a nightmare. When I was a client with Laser Away, I've had to call multiple times to confirm or cancel appointments that somehow don't get updated in their system. I would cancel an appointment weeks or even months in advance and still receive confirmation texts for it later. I always try to be respectful of time, giving as much notice as possible when I need to reschedule--but it often feels like that courtesy is not reciprocated. The final straw came when I showed up for a confirmed 2 PM appointment at the Tracy location--only to find the office completely closed with no notice or communication. No call, no text, no email. Just a locked door and a wasted trip. I reached out to the regional manager six times regarding these ongoing issues. She responded once, promised compensation for the repeated scheduling failures, and then never followed through. At this point, I've spent way too much time chasing down basic appointment confirmations and trying to fix mistakes I didn't make. Sadly, after years of being a loyal client, I will not be returning. Very nice ladies. I've enjoyed going here to get certain areas lasered as well as getting a clear and brilliant. It can be costly, but for me it has been worth it. It's been about 5 months since I've finished my sessions and my hair growth has definitely diminished. I do get a couple hairs here and there under my armpit, but it's to be expected as they are very light hairs. They do tell you you may need touch ups here and there but I haven't really needed it quite yet. The clear and brilliant was more "spicy" for me than the laser hair removal. But, everyone has different pain tolerance. All the ladies were very nice and professional. They answered any questions I had and were very helpful. read more

If I could give 10 stars simply because of my experience with nurse Precilla I would! I have now had 4 sessions at this facility 2 of which were with Precilla and not that the other nurse I had wasn't great, but Precilla just comes in with a great attitude and makes you feel comfortable, which I find very important especially since the nurses here are dealing with sensitive areas of the body. I will say I have only had one not very pleasant phone conversation with one of the receptionists but other than that this place has done me no wrong. I feel that I'm getting my moneys worth and I always leave satisfied. There is one receptionists who is often there when I come in and I'm not sure of her name but she is always so pleasant as well! First of all, everyone at this location has the absolute worst customer service! They act as if you are bothering them when you have a question or concern. One of the receptionists rolled her eyes and gave a huge sigh when I asked about my next appointment. If you hate your job and dealing with the public, quit! I've purchased a few packages, including cool sculpting, laser hair removal, and Botox. They're not cheap, and I'm not satisfied with any of the services they've performed. The last nurse who did my lip filler was unprofessional, condescending, and rude. When I called and advised on my experience there, all the receptionist said was, "Oh, I'm sorry that happened" This woman literally was poking the hell out of my lip, and I told her it didn't feel right and my lip broke out in a huge bruise and I couldn't even go to work for two weeks. How about hiring nurses who know what they are doing? The nurse who did my CoolSculpting couldn't even operate the machine and get the wands to stay on my arms. I even mentioned I didn't think I got the full benefit because they kept falling off. Nothing was done to compensate or make the situation any better. My experience with Botox was just as bad. I wanted to come back, fix it, and add more, but no one ever got back to me. At this point, I don't want any of the services and just want my money back. I've received these services elsewhere and never dealt with such unprofessionalism and awful customer service. All they care about is their commission. In addition, they never have any appointments available and have the audacity to sell services they can't follow through with. They cancel your appointment at any given time, but you are charged if you are late or don't cancel. The appointment system is so dumb that even if you cancel, it continues to send out texts that you have an upcoming appointment. She gave me a quote and about the 18 month plan of $119 a month I told her it was out of my budget, before I can finish saying what I wanted to say she said "okay bye." I was going to ask if I paid 1/4 of the portion what is my monthly payment going to look like I got so flustered and confused I asked her is there any alternatives she just that the original price is the minimum. I cannot discourage you strongly enough to keep you from going with Laser Away. My wife and I spent almost 6 k on tattoos and hair removal treatments. We paid for this all in advance. We asked if we could schedule couples appointments together and they told us it would be fine. and for a year, everything went well. Our appointments were back to back. We were in the same room with the same technician and everything they agreed to happened. and then a few weeks ago we went in for our six week standard appointments. And it were two technicians waiting for us. they had already put the numbing cream on and we politely explained to them that we always go together. And the technician got really ugly with us and told us oh "we will see about that. That's not acceptable." And then she said "that's not going to happen." We pointed out that we've been doing it for over a year and that's what we had agreed to do. And then we said if they could not accommodate that we would schedule for the following week so that they could do it like they always have, together. The next day we received phone calls from someone claiming to be from corporate, saying that we created a problem at the place. And that it was their policy, not to accommodate couples in the same room. And we made the technician feel very uncomfortable by demanding it. keep in mind. We had never had an appointment that wasn't together. And that have been going on for over a year. never was an issue, never was a problem. But now all of a sudden, their company policy was no couple appointments. so we went to their main website, and under the questions and answers it asks can couples book appointments together. And what do you know, it says they can. Right there on their website. we called them back to point this out. And they said that we were causing problems now and they no longer wanted to work with us. They made it out like we were being unreasonable. Stay away. They will do nothing but upsell and then break their promises. Note: ours was the Tracy California location. read more

Front desk is always friendly and helpful with rescheduling, the estheticians (Priscilla and Aliyah are the only names I remember sorry) were amazing and made me feel comfortable. This is my 2nd laser appointment for my armpits, Brazilian, and legs, and they make sure they are thorough so you leave happy and get your moneys worth. So far my hair is growing back slow and in some spots I haven't seen any hair regrow. I also got a Hyrofracial I believe it was called (by Aliyah) and my face felt so clean and clear for the next week. I'm extremely happy with my services. read more

Yes, my first few sessions were great but as soon as they offer you additional areas or promotions and you decline, they want you in and out. All customer service is out the door. They cancel appointments on you the day before and don't bother to call to reschedule. I've had to call them! A receptionist answered and put me on hold for more than 20 minutes to the point where I had to hang up. And yet she still didn't bother to call back or answer the phone after calling back several times! Please people save your money and go elsewhere. This place is like the fastfood of laser. read more
