    Wild mushroom pasta

Food was great! Felt like homemade dishes and not salty like other restaurants! Portion size is small. They also add 3% credit card surcharge (???) so bring cash! This is on top of 20% gratuity for party of 6. And they also charge twice for glass of red wine $20!! So their billing and pricing not good. Ambiance is very casual. I'd think that for a restaurant with nice expensive dishes, ambiance is subpar. I think I would go back with smaller party and give them one more chance to redeem for 5-Star review since food was pretty good.

Burger, Caesar and coconut shrimp happy hour

Truly an interesting meal. My partner and I arrive 15 minutes before happy hour was over and when we were seated at the bar, we didn't get helped until 15 minutes later. The bartender seems totally overwhelmed and was very offputting and not really approachable. It also seemed like there was one waitress for the entire restaurant. The vibes were felt and it was slightly awkward. However, the burger was really good

Our first time at Wolfsglen. Our son lives in the area and it was great. Max, was the host and he was our waiter. Max was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and hardworking. Food was delicious and beautiful presentation, unique flavors and combinations. We loved the hot pita. Location is perfect and nice open and welcoming

Stopped in to have lunch here since it was highly recommended by a friend... it's a quaint little restaurant. The pasta was excellent- our waiter was super friendly. It's quiet during lunch so it's a good time to go. Price was reasonable for Beverly Hills.

My son and I met a friend at Wolfsglen, to relax with some dinner and drinks after attending an event in Hollywood. The service was great. They were patient with us, as we were taking our time chatting over drinks. The cocktails were good. I didn't order one of the custom menu libations, I went with one of my main standbys: a vodka martini. We shared the steak tartare appetizer, and we all agreed that it was quite tasty. For my main course, I ordered the Cacio Pepe. It did not come off as completely authentic to my taste (I'm forever chasing the Roman experience), but it was delicious. My son got the Rigatoni Diavola, and he said that it was great. Our friend ordered an interesting pizza which had espresso as an ingredient. It was different. We liked it. The ambiance is nice, a bit of an upscale feel.

This restaurant is amazing. It superseded my expectations. I came here last Friday after work. I enjoyed the aesthetic & ambiance. It was very inviting. The music was on point. The DJ was doing his thing. My friend & I thought it was jazz night, but were still pleased with the playlist. Our server was kind, professional, & efficient. We ordered appetizers to nosh on. The brown butter labneh, brussel sprouts, mushroom arancini, & truffle fries. I had an espresso martini & my friend had a couple lemon drops. Every single item was fantastic. I've never experienced that before. The chefs really delivered that night. It was a euphoric & orgasmic experience. The food was savory & flavorful. Even the sauces were complimentary to the dishes. The only thing I wished was that the fries were long enough. They were a little short. My drink was stiff. Very strong. My friend was content with her drinks. They definitely hit the spot. This will be the new watering hole. I'm going to recommend this restaurant to my friends & coworkers. I can't wait to come back.

Wolfsglen Burger with a side Caesar.

I popped into Wolfsglen for a quick lunch between appointments at UCLA. What a great choice! I had their burger, which comes stacked with candied bacon, cheddar cheese, and garnishes. It was almost a "Dagwood" sandwich - too big to bite into. I opted for a small Caesar instead of fries (although they looked great from the ones I saw in passing). The salad had a tangy buttermilk miso dressing with parmesan crisps on little gem lettuce - excellent! /and the service from Charles was top-notch. Everyone was so nice. I will be returning.

Server was friendly but food took a little long to come out. Avocado toast was delish but serving size was too small. I ordered a side of bacon and had very little flavor. Went on a Saturday at 1:00...tons of open tables. Can't really recommend based on this experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience! We came for happy hour, just prior to a play and was able to have quite a few items on the menu. Just about everything that hit our table was delicious. And the drinks were also pretty tasty. The prices were good and the service was friendly. So this is definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

Have you noticed that I have been complaining that there are fewer interesting restaurants in Westwood than there were a couple of decades ago? Some of my old faves are gone but this weekend I forced myself to actually walk around Westwood Village a bit and discovered that, despite the preponderance of chains, a couple of indy spots are there. They are new to me but not necessarily to Westwood. Faith restored! Let's talk about one of them: Wolfsglen. I have nothing but good, if not great, things to say. It is conveniently located on Glendon, right in the heart of the action. This weekend it is clear the fall semester is underway and things were bustling. So much so that I worried I couldn't find good parking but did, right around the corner at a two hour meter. Yay! Lovely autumn temps and sunshine added to a nice little walk to Wolfsglen. It is a bit mysterious from the outside, but you get it once you go in. And, wow, it's spacious and modern. Very clean, the seats are comfy, there are screens for entertainment (a vintage movie and some clever electronic paintings, for example). The tables are sturdy marble, the cutlery is hefty, and the thick snow white napkins are actually made of linen. Wow. The menus shown online do not do the actual menus justice, especially for brunch. We were there around 1:30 pm and you can see all the offerings on one of my pictures. Plenty of stuff for vegetarians. All I had to do was ask that they hold the meat on one of my selections. I would call the list "Westwood fusion", reflecting the various tastes that populate this beautiful college town. The portions are really generous, the quality of the food is first rate, even the coffee was exceptional (Lavazza?). Our server, Eddie was so kind, generous, and charming that we were basically bowled over by him. He noticed things on the table, arranged everything for our comfort, brought the food in stages as if he read our minds, and then went even further to make this an exceptional experience by giving us little perks that made us vow to return. And, the tab was downright awesome -- we had to look twice to believe our eyes. The take home boxes are microwavable and dishwasher safe, and without any prompting Eddie brought us a tall bag for them. The fries were some of the best I have ever had, the labneh was so flavorful that I didn't want to stop eating it. There was a fresh Caesar salad side with something toasty and crunchy and garlicky on top. And, do you see the pita? Home made and top of the line. I am a baker, I know what it takes to make pita like that! As if that wasn't enough, there is entertainment twice a month, with dancing (!!) and a full bar if you just want to stop in for a snack and brew. Then, just to make sure I was over the moon, they sent me a thank you note for dining there. What?! Who does that!? I may miss some of the oldies, but Wolfsglen more than makes up for that. This may be the best place to eat in Westwood now. In fact, I could swear by that.

Nutty Buddy Crunch. Off The Beaten Path Zero Proof Cocktail

I've always loved this location, especially since my UCLA days. It was a nice place to go instead of the usual Brew Co nights we would have in the 2010s. However this was my first time dining here since it became Wolfsglen and it is all around amazing. Definitely an upgrade from its days as The Glendon. Nestled in the heart of westwood, this place has an upscale ambiance without the pretension you'd expect from a fancy looking establishment. The lighting is at a comfortable level. They have lots of booth seating and the chairs and barstools are very comfortable. The pricing is very reasonable especially weighed against the experience. Tonight I ate at the bar to celebrate a small yet important personal victory so I ordered the Steak Frites. The cut was tender and the Au jus was amazing. It was almost a reduction in its consistency. I made sure to finish that off with my French fries. The fries. Omg the fries are so crispy and thin, which is kind of dangerous because I finished off a whole bowl by myself and hardly noticed. Of course, I was celebrating so I had to save room for dessert. The Nutty Butty was incredible. The brownie bites and mouse were very palatable and the peanut butter ice cream had a little bit of saltiness to it that made for the perfect combination of salty/sweet, creamy and a little bit chewy. I usually insist on a table, but the bar looked welcoming and honestly I really enjoyed my dining experience there. The barkeep was very friendly and the TV was muted with subtitles which kept the vibes casual. Not that I wanted to, but you could still see what was going on with sportscenter if you wanted to. Service was quick. Overall top notch experience. New go to date spot in Westwood.

Wolfsglen offers elevated cuisine in an intimate setting. I've only been for lunch on a few occasions, so I'm not sure what their dinner service is like, but the lunch service is very slow. Always polite, just slow. This isn't a knock on the server, I think it's more just being understaffed during early lunch. Everything I've had here has been really good. They have a pretty good burger, and I really enjoyed their Brown Butter Labneh. Time before last I tried their Gorgonzola and pear pizza, I can't remember all of the ingredients but can recall it being really good. This time around I tried their standard pepperoni pizza with fresh mozzarella. It was great!

The soup was very rich and tasty, wontons were crispy and stuffed generously with avocado, burger was juicy and cooked to perfection, and the large, tender shrimp paired deliciously with the pasta. This place gets busy the minute they open their doors so make reservations prior. 1. Korean Aguachile: fresh tilefish sashimi with finely sliced cucumber and white floral decor simmered in ice cold kimchee broth they pour at the table. Soooo good. Must order. 2. Soy Marinade Blue Prawn: My favorite dish of the night. Huge raw blue prawns (head attached) marinaded with soy sauce. Served with barley rice topped with Ssam jang (type of bean paste sauce), and seaweed paper. You wrap all ingredients in the seaweed paper to make a hand roll. Soooooo delicious. Can't walk out without trying this. 3. Beef short ribs: good but nothing unique in its flavoring . Beef steak(medium rare and super tender) that's lightly marinaded/glazed (so not overly sweet) with kbbq/short rib sauce. This is one of their fan favorites so I suggest you try it.. 4. Chilled Acorn Noodles: chewy cOLD noodles made with acorn (just like the acorn jelly side dish we eat). The noodles are seasoned with Korean Cho-go-chu-jang (Gochujang paste), crispy cucumber slices, loads of dried seaweed flakes, and perilla oil. And you just mix them all together. Sooo good and paired well with the short ribs. Incredible. 5. Bluefin tuna and trout Bibimbop: like a poke bowl but so much better. Rice at the bottom with loads of lettuce strips, bluefin tuna sashimi, radish slices, and cavier. Seasoned with Korean Cho-go-chu jang (Gochujang paste with a twist of vinegar). Very good as well. For drinks we tried the shikhye slush (shikhye is a Korean sweet rice drink dessert). They used a slushy shikhye base with warm cinnamon and ginger spices and pisco for a kick. Also tried the Sujinggwa manhattan which is sujunggwa (traditional Korean cinnamon ginger dessert tea served cold) and a single malt. This was fabulous. Overall fantastic experience. Fantastic food, cool ambiance's. And great service. Highly highly recommend this place!

Tables looked available around 5pm though so walk-ins could be possible. Ambiance: Outside was nice and inside looked dimly lit and romantic. We were seated promptly and service was good. Food: Rice slushy had a strangely strong cinnamon-like taste to it that traditional rice punch doesn't have which was so overpowering, it made it difficult to go back for more sips. Oysters - good though small, enjoyed the kelp mignonette Korean Aguachile - Delicate tilefish completely overwhelmed by cold kimchi broth with actual icy slush in it and small amounts of fish Steak Tartare - The hot stone bowl seemed to defeat the purpose of a tartare, as it cooked the steak once mixed. The perilla leaves were also cut in large strips relative to the beef. Chilled Acorn Noodle - The perilla oil was nonexistent in flavor though the dish didn't need it and was good without. Overall, portions were small for the price and dishes weren't well-executed so despite being excited for more Korean options in West LA, I'd much rather make the drive to Koreatown for better portions, prices, and flavors.

Think the most expensive item I saw on the menu was a $44 steak, so prices are somewhat reasonable. I got a Tuscan chicken sandwich with fries. The food wasn't spectacular, but it was pretty good and actually filled me up. Service was nice and friendly. If you read the bottom of the menu, it says tipping is actually not expected and accepted. Kind of weird, but I'm not complaining.

I've been to Plateia three times now, but once was just for drinks and a hummus appetizer. The…read morehummus appetizer is delish!! And Plateia's drinks are marvelous, but pricey. Both times I came for a meal, I wasn't that happy with my entree. One time the chicken sandwich, and second time the risotto. I was also still hungry after eating the risotto, so an appetizer or side of fries or hummus would've been nice. The people I was with enjoyed their burger, so that's a plus! I'd give the food 3.5 stars, the drinks 5 stars and the service 5 stars as well. Wish they could lower the price of their drinks though. I do like that there is a bar and seating just inside. Didn't realize this place is inside a hotel! Super cool.
