Happened upon this place one day and so glad we did. When you first walk in it looks very small but it has some spots to sit in the back. We had the horchata latte and the maple latte. The Horchata latte was delicious. The maple latte was a gamble for us because it sounded interesting but wasnt sure how it would taste. It was fucking amazing. So glad we tried it. Prices are so high!! I understand it's a small business but OMG. 3 croissants, and 3 lattes and it was $44!! Insane. We got regular milk and added cold foam on top!! I got a cold brew with sugar free vanilla syrup. I thought it had a really good flavor. it was deep and smooth but not overpowering. the vanilla enhanced it nicely. I am glad they had sugar free syrup options. my friend got the iced maple latte with oat milk. she didnt taste maple at first and so asked for more syrup. she said overall it was not her favorite drink. I liked the decorations. there was an interesting back room with additional seating and a nice tree. The floors were really cool. they sold merchandise and grab and go options. the ambiance was chill. seems like a good place to get work done, especially in that back room. The price was pretty reasonable. I paid for my friend's latte which was a bit pricey but it was a specialty latte with an alternative milk so I can't be too mad. They accepted contactless payment. The barista wasn't very talkative, but he was locked in! I could tell he knew what he was doing. He measured the amount of syrup in milliliters/ounces rather than standard pumps, which I always love to see. overall I had a good experience. I would love to come back and review more items if they invited me back. read more

This place was okay. We got two drinks the matcha latte with oat milk and the Ethiopia Cold Brew. I just started getting into matcha and have been trying a match everywhere I go! So far I've had really good ones and this one was not it. It tastes like just straight up milk. The cold brew also was just okay nothing special and not the best. The place is cute and small we were lucky to find an open seat! The place was busy so didn't really get to interact with them since they were non stop go go go. This place had been on my list for a while now and I finally checked it out today. Walked in and they did not have that many latte options. I asked how the seasonal pumpkin spice latte was made and it didn't quite catch my attention. The only thing that makes it Psl is a syrup. Other coffee shops add a foam or other homemade spices and/or cream. So, I was not impressed. I ended up ordering the horchata latte because why not give this place a try. Again, there was nothing special or interesting about it. The powder must have been Klass, the kind you find at the Mexican markets because that's what it smelled like. I know my horchatas lol. Any who, the latte also was not strong with coffee flavor and it was quite flavorless. If you know me, you know I like strong espresso especially in lattes. Well this visit was disappointing. I ended up at Solid coffee in Cerritos because I still needed my coffee fix!!! read more

I ordered the iced matcha latte and it was pretty bad, i threw it away pretty much immediately. Which is a shame for the price point. The color was off and it was very powdery. I also got it flavored with honey which i could not taste whatsoever. Pretty bummed because I was excited to try this place. The workers were like moderately nice but seemed rushed however there were only two people in line. read more

Nestled on a side street near Lakewood Blvd. and Carson St., Wolf's Brew is a cozy spot with hands-down the best lavender latte I have ever had in my life. The espresso was perfect, made creamy and sweet. AMBIANCE: This coffee shop is small, pretty laidback, and I like their decor & choice of indie music. Honestly I might come in here more to study or relax if I'm nearby. FOOD/DRINK: Iced ube almond latte - I wasn't expecting it on the menu. Luckily, I was in the mood for ube these past two days so I'm glad I came when I did! It had a pretty purple color on the top and the starchy flavor of ube to cut into the aftertaste of coffee so all things considered, I enjoyed it a lot. SERVICE: Chris was quick and accomodating for my dairy allergies! He made the latte in a separate steam pitcher and took the time to talk to me about the warming summer weather. I would like to also try it hot. The cookie was also tasty. At first it tasted a little basic, but the more I ate it- it grew on me! Service: Quick and Friendly! The barista provided recommendations based upon my preference. My drink was ready in a flash! Ambiance: super quick little coffee shop in LongBeach. My favorite part was the sitting area in the back of the shop. It was an unexpected surprise to see the small, quaint, and nicely curated seating space back there! First timer here and it was a cute little spot. Loved the vibes here and it was so warm and cozy. They had a great selection of pastries and coffee selection as well as teas for those who don't drink coffee like me. There are many little areas you can sit like the window little side bar area and just people watch. There are tables outside and a really cool spot a bit further in with a few tables to sit and relax and read a book and enjoy your coffee. Love that they have a few workers so you get your coffee and whatever you order pretty quick. They had a cool vendor outside that's set up and they serve hot food like burritos and other fun stuff to have with your beverage. As soon as we approached the coffee shop it smelled delicious. The atmosphere here was very chill and loved the small touches they have on the walls and decor. They had some cool merchandise you can purchase as well and cold refrigerated items as well to go. We went to the Long Beach Antique Market and this was not too far a walk from there. The inside was pretty tight and did not have much seating but had cute merchandise and decor. We ordered lattes with vanilla sweet cream as well as the raspberry cream. The cream was really nice and the coffee did the job. I do not know if it is the best tasting coffee individually, but it works when you get it in mixed drinks. read more

My friend and I stopped here for morning coffee. I ordered the matcha latte, and she ordered the horchata latte. My matcha latte was very good even though it could have used more matcha for my taste. I tried the horchata latte, and it was also very good. The service was pretty quick. They were well staff for the busy morning! The cafe also has seating in the back. There were local goods to buy on display. There was a skylight bringing in some natural light. All in all, I would come back! read more

I tried Wolf's Brew for the second time because it's close to a place that I work often. The people working are always very nice and will chat with you if you want to. This time I ordered a iced green tea and it was fine. My coworkers all loved the espresso tonic they have here and I've learned that it's rare to find this drink other places--it's a $7 drink though which is a lot! All in all, the tea was fine and the coffee I ordered the year prior was fine too, but it didn't knock my socks off. I did like that I got a coupon from them (last year) after ordering, but was sad to realize it expired long before my most recent trip...the thought was there though! The ambiance is nice here too--very cozy, kind of small and has clean restrooms. There's a small room being the kitchen and before the bathrooms to sit and plug in to do some work or study. Went here after shopping, heard good reviews about this place and I'm glad I listened. I got the iced rose latte with strawberry cold foam (with cute little rose petals) and fell in love with it on the first sip. I usually never get rose related lattes but this was divine. Cute cozy cafe along a small side street of shops. Reminds me of Portland OR. Friendly staff, they're very attentive and fast too. Drinks were pretty on point. Lavender matcha was lightly floral, solid sweetness. Lematcha is heavy on the match with a light lemon flavor, not too sweet. Came here today on a Saturday. Coffee is good. But the girls working are way too busy talking eith each other and flirting with customers to work. The line is out the door, and the girls working just don't care. One other guy working is trying his best to make the customers not revolt, and gives me an apologetic look. He is awesome. But its hard to justify coming back paying 7 bucks a drink with people that dont care even when a big line goes out the door. read more

Definitely a fun place to visit! The team was great and very kind. I don't think it would be the best place to do some work as the tables are little funky. I was able to get the sugar substituted for honey and they blended it nicely. I like my matcha to be a very dirty flavor and unfortunately I wasn't the biggest fan of it, but still good. From the moment they took my order to preparing it, the vibes were so friendly. Each barista was interactive + kind. They gave me honest recommendations for their seasonal drinks. We tried the Maple Oat Latte with Oat Milk, the Horchata Matcha + a Coconut Caramel something (I believe). All the drinks were so tasty too! They offer oat milk + decaf which we got for some drinks. Quaint coffee shop, friendly service and a place to study/work should you need it. There aren't too many outlets and not too much seating so be mindful of that. I've always gotten an espresso and whenever you get a bag of whole beans to go, you can get a cup of cold brew or drip. read more

A comfy, cozy, neighborhood coffee spot that always greets me with a great smile and service. I usually visit with my buddy who introduced me to the cafe. I like that their menu is not too massive, but still varied enough to find a favorite. You can get most drinks either iced or hot. This visit, I got a seasonal Gingerbread Latte, my buddy got an iced americano. My drink was tasty, hot, and the gingerbread flavor was strong and flavorful enough without being too overpowering. There's a back sitting area with a few seats and a couch, and we enjoyed our drinks and conversation there for about 40 minutes or so. Such an adorable little spot! Everything inside felt like it had a personal touch and a story behind it. It's the embodiment of "your friendly neighborhood coffee shop." I went with a Matcha Latte and it was absolutely delightful. Not too sweet, great tea flavor, and they had some killer oat milk! I will note that they have very limited seating, so if you're looking to settle down and stay a while, this might not be the place. read more

I came here because they roast their own coffee beans. It was also close to my home. I bought a pound of their "best" coffee beans. The cup of coffee I got for free for buying a pound was pretty good. When I made coffee from these beans I was not impressed. The flavors were not that rich or nuanced. It was better than generic coffee. But it wasn't great coffee either. I got something to replace it. People that like coffee drinks might feel differently. But i want really good coffee. As an avid matcha latte consumer, this made zero sense to me. While I don't blame her bc she likely had nothing to do with that decision, she wasn't kind in relaying that information or trying to help me find something on the menu I may like. Her demeanor remained the same when my friend ordered his drink, and we both felt a very negative energy coming from this woman, simply put it didn't seem like she wanted to be there taking our order. This was around 1pm last Saturday (the 21st of March), so they had a decent amount of customers, but it wasn't some crazy morning rush. Forward to the drink : we grabbed our drinks which came out promptly. I tasted my matcha and just as I suspected due to the lack of sweetness, it just tasted like grassy chalk. I assumed that my friends latte would be better, as matcha can tend to have an earthy taste to it to begin with. Then I tried his... chalky and sour. Due to the lack of customization and the barista's attitude, we just took a couple sips and tossed our drinks. It was a super negative experience for a place I really really wanted to like. I think allowing people to use sweetener and cold foam on more than just seasonal lattes would be a great first start, and perhaps training the staff on appropriate customer interaction would also help. Loved the branding on this spot, but it seems like the people who work there don't want to be there and it really put a damper on the experience, and for a place so cute, the drinks and vibes should be top notch.

After I paid in cash and even tipped her, she casually told me, "Oh, you could've gotten two free donuts." I asked if I could still get the two donuts since I had already paid enough to qualify, and she responded, "maybe next time." That response was incredibly frustrating and honestly poor customer service. If I already paid enough to qualify for the dozen pricing, why wouldn't the employee explain it beforehand or simply honor it when I asked immediately afterward? Instead, I was told only after the transaction was complete, and then denied the items anyway. It felt misleading, unhelpful, and unnecessarily petty over two donuts. Small businesses survive on repeat local customers and goodwill, and this experience completely lost mine. There won't be a next time.
