Excellent Local Food & Drink Joint, just East of downtown Elyria, Ohio is a great place with a full menu of delicious food choices & plenty varieties of brews & mixed drinks. We prefer to go on weekdays in our regular rotation. Wolfey's has awesome daily food & drink specials like our favorites, Burger (Wed) & Taco (Tues) nights, as well as other daily specials. You will not regret any menu choice, but I'd recommend a Burger or Stromboli as sure shot satiation! Beer selection is also always amazing! We eat out as a family a few nights per week and a couple lunches. We'd eat here anytime, but weekends can be busier, crowded, & louder than other days. Service is always top notch! read more

Always a good experience, but did you ever have service that seemed lackluster, but objectively is fine? We were in and out in roughly an hour not bad for a not terribly busy game day. It just seemed we waited a bit long to get our drink order taken, long enough that we actually had our meal order ready when she came to take the drink order. Food came plenty fast, was not delivered by the server. We may have been asked, or not, if everything was okay. The service just didn't seem good although I know that it was. I hope that makes sense to at least one person. The moral of the story is be objective cuz sometimes service seems bad and it really isn't so before you give a server a hard time for bad service be sure that their service really was bad. read more

The menu has a huge variety and there is something for everyone to eat! The homemade chips were delicious, tots, wraps, and amazingly huge salads with hefty toppings. But lorddddd the stromboli, THE STROMBOLI!!! HEAVEN, its seasoned with herbs on top and a good crisp but filled heavily with toppings so its still oh so cheesy! We were so full after splitting this we basically took our whole entrees home. Everything tasted amazing and prices were so reasonable we are so excited for our next time back and trying to come up with excuses to travel this far just to eat here!! I think we will do stromboli to split and half size salads! I love that they do happy hour specials every day of the week. It really encourages people to come in and choose certain items. We enjoyed reduced price on Stromboli $7 and house bloody Mary $3! that is so so cheap! Look around on the walls everywhere for the daily deals and the happy hour deals. However we were upset that the bill came back without the deal prices on both the Stromboli and the bloody Mary. It was fixed once on one item but not correctly, then was fixed again for the other item but not the right amount, we just decided it wasn't worth the back and forth anymore and paid the bill and left. Something they need to double check in the computer system because it should automatically ring right prices on certain special days and times! If it weren't for this billing difficulty this place would have had 5 stars! read more

First off, sodas were served in the flimsy plastic cups you use at a picnic. Not very professional! My friend ordered the patty melt medium rare and parts of it were raw. Yuk. She was too kind to complain, but she did show the waiter the raw meat. My other friend ordered a colossal Reuben. He made a mess of it trying to eat it, and ended up with a pile of corned beef. He asked for a couple slices of bread to go, the waiter said "sure!" When the check came, not only did he not take anything off for the uneaten beef patty, he charged $1 for two slices of WHITE bread! Three customers that won't be going back! read more

What a wonderful experience we had at Wolfey's today! The food was delicious, specially my hamburger cheese soup, creamy, so flavorful and temperature hot...at it should be! The salads were on point and so it was the Oreo cheese cake! Our server, Mikayla was absolutely fantastic, attentive, personable and always smiling! PS: in my opinion the hamburger cheese soup should be available every day during winter time...I know Mikayla would agree with me! read more

We arrived at 12:45 pm. Ordered our drinks and 12:50, and our order was taken at 12:55. At almost 1:20, I asked our waitress where our food was. She went to check and it came a few minutes later. My burger was cold. Reaction was little more than a "sorry about that". read more

Good food, good service. This sight is asking for more input but I think I summed it up pretty well.

Honestly this place is not what it used to be. The first couple of years I really enjoyed it and it was really the only good place in Elyria to go but since I've moved away I stop in here from time to time and it's just not worth my time and money anymore. The service is adequate, staff can be friendly sometimes and unfriendly other times. Their beer selection while they have a lot to choose from it's just very basic and they barely have any local beer selections. I find that really strange for such a large establishment with so many beers on tap. At the moment they currently are serving 28 beers either on tap or in bottles. Out of all of those beers there maybe 4 or 5 that I would even consider drinking and only 3 of the 28 are local/Ohio beers and their basic. The food is average at best. The french fries are always served lukewarm along with the fried pickles that come with your sandwich. It's a good fried pickle but I'd like it to be hot but I guess that's a little too much to ask. On this particular visit I had a new menu selection called "the Texas melt". It was a good idea but poorly executed. The bread was garlic Texas toast which is a delicious idea and it comes with grilled onions and mushrooms lettuce tomato cheddar cheese and Swiss cheese. It was just OK. Literally nothing special about this at all. Honestly the best way to describe Wolfey's is to call it tolerable and you really want your business to be called tolerable? I'm sorry Wolfey's but I know that you're able to do much better than this. What happened to the good food and great service you had in the beginning? read more

Food: always good and not your typical bar food. Lots of options. Soups are amazing...buffalo chicken soup, and French onion are my favorite. Everyone loves the lobster bisque...I don't eat lobster but based on what they say it's amazing. Atmosphere: it's a giant bar. But your kids are welcome and you and they will be comfortable. Drinks: They have monthly drinks that are delicious and reasonably priced. Parking: Hint hint. Parking out front can be difficult. There is parking behind the plaza. Try there if you can't find a spot. read more

Never a bad time here. They have plenty of food options for everyone. I don't think they do any one type of food spectacularly, but they do a lot of things well. My favorite is Stromboli. Was working in the area and needed a super quick lunch. Cool new spot in a strip mall. Got in immediately at a place at the bar which is quite large. Bartender/Server was great quick with menu drink and food. They have quite a few lunch specials. I was in a hurry so I ordered the soup and salad for 6$ The tomato bisque was VERY good. Piping hot and not overly creamy. I was pleasantly surprised by the salad. It wasn't just some iceberg lettuce with a couple tomatoes. It actually was real greens! Looked like a nice patio out back. Great mix of professionals and just casual diners. Would be happy to go back when I have more time. read more

I've only ever visited here on the weekend. The price of food and drinks are average for what I would expect. I normally end up spending between 20 and 30 dollars for a night here. It seems to be a hot spot on weekends. I've never been thoroughly impressed with my experience here. Judging by the amount of people though, it must be a favorite for many. The parking lot is often packed on weekends and you'll typically find a wait. Because of that, I've had to park far across the lot and I've even been accosted by people standing outside of the neighboring liquor store...not really ideal, but it's at no fault of Wolfey's. As for the service, I've always been treated with respect and I remember Dan standing out as being a great waiter. Wolfey's has always made an effort to accommodate our group when hosting a birthday party or other event and I greatly appreciate it. Looking forward to coming back and trying some different offerings. read more

Love this place! Great burgers, sandwiches, salads, pizza, and more! Their salads and strombolis are really fantastic! Fast, friendly service and great atmosphere. Plenty of beers to choose from and great happy hour specials. It's a favorite lunch hangout for my coworkers...the food comes out quickly and prices are extremely reasonable. Their patio in the back is great and there's a a bar right there with plenty of TVs. Wolfey's is located in a shopping center that has two other restaurants, so finding a spot during busy hours can be tough, but that's the only negative in my opinion! What a fantastic place... in Elyria?! Yep! That's correct! It's on the corner of a shopping plaza but you know what people say, they say places in plazas have the best food. Well if you love Stromboli or pizza this rings true! My date and I sat at the bar and had wonderful service. They have a great draft and bottle selection. I didn't care for the patio because it wreaked of smoke. There was nowhere for the smoke to go so we couldn't sit outside with the smell. We ordered the deep fried pretzel sticks which if my metabolism wasn't slowing down, I would eat every single day! They stayed soft even when they cooled down and who doesn't love some good runny orange cheese! Seriously soooo good! We each also ordered a Stromboli. Holy amazingness! I loved the dough the best if I had to choose one ingredient to love more than others. I also used the ranch more than the marinara and this might be a foodie no no, but I broke the rules this time by using ranch. Either way these things are crazy good and no, you should not share! *Note: You don't need extra cheese because these bad boys are fully loaded! read more

We decided to dine-in a few weeks ago and was equally impressed with all the precautions then, including the QR code for a Menu, the dividers, spacing, and food served in disposable containers. Of course, the food quality continues to be delicious and hot, and truly did not skip a beat from when things were normal. We'll continue being loyal customers. read more

We were visiting Elyria for work and legit came here three nights in a row. It's a great place for a cold beer after work. They have all the range of typical bar food but they also have great salads for those looking for a healthy option. The food comes out quick, hot and fresh. There may be other places to go but we found one we liked for the nights we were there. I wish it was a chain but it isn't. That's probably what makes it so great. read more
