Just a neighborhood bar and Grill. But they do a really nice job. Burgers are just ok. Highly recommend the shrimp po-boy and the italian sub, they are done up with special seasonings and sauces and cheese grilled hoagie bread. Salads are very good too. Their taco salad comes in a big taco bowl and the steak salad is very good too if u like blue cheese. Reasonably priced too. read more

was heading to toledo and decided to stop for something to eat. the bbq chicken dinner was delicious, opted for white rice and fire roasted corn. both sides were tasty. chicken bruschetta was also very good as well as the baby potatoes and asparagus it came with. baja tacos were also good and filling although you only get two. only negative was the buckeye burger and french fries. fries were slightly soggy, too salty. burger tasted like something you could get at wendy's for a 1/4 of the price. i recommend it here, i would just pass on the burgers read more

They person that took our order, didn't get it right, and I had to wait 30 minutes for another sandwich. My guest didn't want to eat her food in front of me, so her sandwich was half cold! They only offered 3 dollars as a discount. We had to state our cast to the manager, then we were only offered half off one sandwich. read more

I really liked this place! Long Island ice tea was solid, husband loved the beer selection. I got the lobster mac and it was SOOOOOO GOOD! Even better reheated the second day too- it was a HUGE portion! Husband got pizza and said it too was good. My friend and I ate on the patio on Memorial Day. The restaurant was not busy. We ordered drinks and shared two appetizers. After 45 mins, we still didn't have our appetizers! I asked a random server if they could check on our food. Finally our waitress came and apologized. It was obvious that she forgot to put our order in since we saw several people seated after us get their full meals and leave before we got our food. Our server said the manager "would take care of it". We assumed both appetizers would be taken off our bill. However, they only took off one appetizer. I don't know if I will be back again. I was really impressed by this place. They had a large selection of craft draft and bottled beers along with an extensive food menu. The pretzel sticks were very large and came with your choice of cheese. We chose the nacho cheese, and it complimented the pretzels well. All of our food items came out piping hot and quite tasty. So this used to be a fav bar for us. We know things have drastically changed with covid. What we did not expect when going there last evening around 7 was to be confronted by other patron ( female) who while sitting at the bar, saw my friends MAGA hat from 10 feet away and began inappropriate social behavior including shouting gestures, talking to my back about who I was with, how I 'should leave him, honey' and so forth. Very immature behavior in public. Besides unwarranted. We came in for taco salad. It got spoiled. No one behind the bar said a word to this ignorant woman. My guy is a trucker and we ate out because of people like him. So did she. Flipping us the bird as she exited after our entire meal was lame. I'm a special ed tutor and I know kids with better manners than her. We won't be back. This restaurant expects 10 feet away for social distancing and following rules? How about suggesting people quell their inappropriate verbal and physical behavior toward other guests? read more

I particularry like the appetizer sampler platter and the vegetarian mushroom burger.The kids loved the baked mac and cheese. A restaurant in a very odd spot, but it's easy to get to. The restaurant has a full bar, booth, tables, and table tops that you can dine at. This is a great place to bring the kids. The staff is always friendly and polite. The restaurant is very clean for a bar/grill. The food is served very quickly. There is a list of happy hour meals and apps that you can choose from if you are super hungry (needing like 4 burgers) or trying to save $$ for the holidays. They offer weekly specials and daily ones. Today's (Monday) special is wings. The daily special was chili and BBQ pork sandwiches. My brother ordered the special. He said the chili was good but needed a kick to it. His sandwich was eaten with no complaining at all. There were onion rings on his sandwich and it came with a side of chips. Had my experience ruined by the hostess, a blonde girl named "Lexi" who seemed determined to be in the spotlight of a dramatic scene she was creating with our server. Very disappointed in the actions of the assistant manager on duty, who, while apologizing for the inconvenience, didn't offer to allow us to cancel our meals and leave (which we would have preferred). It made for an awkward night and a rather large disappointment. The serving staff was top-notch. I really appreciated the attentiveness of Dan and Chris. I hope management is smart enough to take care of these guys and keep them around. Food was good and recommendations from the serving staff were spot on. I had the dortmunder burger and would consider getting it again. Drink selection was good, although draft choices could be expanded. Prices were reflective of a more professional establishment. Get rid of the children playing hostess (i.e. blonde/blue haired Lexi) and we would be much more impressed. read more

3/20/2013 Lunch I walked in about 10 minutes to 12:00 PM and there were only 2 tables being taken care of. I sat at the bar to get some lunch and was greeted promptly. Service was great here. Bartender took the order and a food runner brought my food. The reviews here brought me here to try the place. I was not disappointed. I ordered 6 hot wings. Only complaint is how small they were. I don't feel like I got what I paid for. Sauce was good. But the size of their wings were just not good. I also ordered a small pepperoni flatbread since it was on special that day. Second complaint. I wasn't served a flatbread pizza. I was served an actual small to medium size pizza. Don't misunderstand this. I got way more food than I could eat at this point because I thought I was ordering a flatbread. It was a good surprise. I just wasn't expecting to get a full pizza. And boy was it good! I would go back here for the pizza any time. It was that good. When I left almost an hour later there wasn't a table open in the place. It was jammed. Looks like the locals know a good bar food place, too. Overall I consider this place to have some of the best bar food I've ever had. read more

Don't let the sign fool you: it's (mostly) a bar, just with an extended bar food menu. That's not necessarily a bad thing, though. In a lot of ways, it's a step up from the typical setup, but doesn't really differentiate itself much. The beer selection, bottle and draft, is very good, with a distinct focus on locality. The room is large and decorated with typical fare (beer signs, etc) with a few flourishes. Our service was quick and quality, if a little brusque. I imagine the setup would be great for watching a game. Wolfey's seems to pride itself on its food menu, and while the fare is decent, it's not interesting nor particularly good. Bottom line: great place to grab a brew and watch a game, but not the best for brunch. read more

This place is far better than basic bar food. You can't go wrong with any of the mac and cheese dishes. The philly flatbread is better than the beloved Samosky's in my opinion. This place can get really busy but that's because it's probably the best restaurant in Elyria. read more

Great food, great service, chill atmosphere. The location is kinda weird bc it's almost like a strip mall but that's besides the point. Went for dinner last night with my bf. Sat in the window looking at the parking lot and was not cold at all which was very nice. We started with the mozzarella bruschetta app and it was good! Just enough food for the two of us and the taste was on point. My bf ordered the Cajun chicken pasta and I had the seafood trio pasta. Both were piping hot, large portions and were delicious. I seriously enjoyed my grapefruit ale which the server explained was a rotating shandy flavor made by a subsidiary of Miller. Love this place! Whenever I am in town I beg to come here. It's an amazing place to throw back a few beers and grab good grub. Their food is delicious; from burgers to even mussels!
