Stopped in at 10:25 on a Sunday morning. In need of my rye bagel fix. Not only were they out of rye bagels, but also out of more than half of the other bagel options. No onion, no sesame, etc, etc, etc. Ok, so I get three bagels to go (everything, whole wheat and cinnamon raisin). Total comes to $5.85 (3 @ $1.95). The menu board on the wall behind the counter clearly shows one bagel costing $1.56, w no price break until half dozen. When I questioned the employee, she said, "Those are the old prices." Makes me wonder what other prices prominently displayed are "old". Tried the everything bagel at home. Lightly toasted with butter. It was very good (I'd rate it a 4). But shortage of varieties a little more than halfway through the day, and misleading pricing.... 2 stars. read more

Wolcott Bagel delivers spatula to grill, fresh, and delicious breakfast sandwiches. Their isn't a homemade bagel in the area that compares to what they have. For those familiar with Wolcott, you can find this gem in the plaza across the street from Cumberland Farms. This plaza has ample parking for a morning bit. Inside, they offer a few tables to eat your meal or drink your coffee, but this place is basically an order up/order out outfit. I've eaten at Wolcott Bagel for both lunch and breakfast. For breakfast, I typically get a sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. My wife enjoys their homemade chive cream cheese on an everything bagel. They are a popular place to eat (for a good reason), and I will be back again. The only recommendation I have is if you are going to grab a bagel or bagel sandwich on a Saturday, grab it early (before 10 am). I've gone a couple of times later on a Saturday morning to find out they ran out of the bagel I'd normally get. I still had a delicious meal, but it's just as an FYI as they make their bagels homemade, and my guess is they try to match the need for the day. read more

The bagel sandwiches are amazing. Big, fat bagels loaded with meat, egg and cheese. Although toasted, these bagels are soft. They don't treat up your mouth with sharp edges. DEEEE LICIOUS!! Every time someone came to town I would take them here for breakfast. I am heading back to NC. My last stop is going to be WOLCOTT BAGELS. This family run business is wonderful. The food is fabulous. The customer service is great. Lines out the door mean something. Best breakfast sandwiches ever! read more

Wolcott Bagel is the superior bagel place of the area. You can order ahead online or go inside (obviously). There are a few little tables to sit inside. They have bagels (which I think come from Ami's in Waterbury), breakfast sandwiches, and lunch sandwiches. Their coffee flavors are spectacular!! I usually get a bacon, egg, and cheese which has the right amount of bacon-- always delicious and an iced coffee with a flavor. Always perfect! Definitely recommend! read more

Sandwich are ok IF you get there early, otherwise they have ONLY plain bagels. 11:45 nothing left but plain bagels. 10 minutes away, Bagel Factory & Deli fully stocked along with drinks desserts and nutritional bars. read more

Bagels are some of the best I have found and the staff is always polite and friendly. They do get my orders wrong from time to time, so double check them before you drive away. Also, pet - peeve if you are going to cut a sandwich in half make sure you cut ALL THE WAY through! read more

First time. Food was good. Service seemed disorganized and wait time for food was slow. Watched grill person start making our sandwiches then stop and started to take care of all the eggs and bacon she had cooking. Our half made sandwiches sat there while she took many eggs off of the grill. Apparently she grills and constructs the sandwiches which slowed it all down. We had to listen to one of the employees complaining loudly about what he wanted her to do. Take care of customer in line orders or online orders. Also for first timers you have to wait until you get to the order person to see the menu taped to the counter. Which means then you hold up people behind you while you are trying to figure out what you want. Menu needs to be visible before you get to the order employee. read more

We were really excited to have a bagel shop in town finally!! Couldn't wait to go. I ordered a BLT - the bacon was rubbery and cold, microwave half cooked crap. It tasted nasty.. I also bought a dozen bagels and 7oz cream cheese. Total was $22!! The cream cheese container wasn't even full, and they don't even give you a bakers dozen like other shops in the area do, after they rip you off for $14/dz! Very very expensive, we are not in NYC here. I hope they get better bacon, lower prices, and pack the cream cheese container full. Bagel shops in surrounding towns are half the price, with amazing bagels, cream cheese, and REAL bacon! I'd rather drive to Plainville or Farmington. read more

I went to wolcott bagels for the first time today and for this business to just open up it should be up and running at its best I ordered 2 bagels asked them what kinds they had they were already extremely low at 10am in the morning so they gave me a few choices so I ordered was told 15 minutes I showed up and when I got up to the register the woman told me that they ran out of the bagels I asked for and that I can wait for the delivery to come in 45 minutes if I want which i found ridiculous thats not even including the time for them to make what I ordered I said you guys are the ones who gave me the choices but instead of putting them to the side because I was a phone order they served them to the people in line then they just looked at me like what's the problem I will never order from there again clearly they don't know how to run a business they should of atleast called back and asked me if I would like a different choice read more
