We were on the hunt of finding a good breakfast spot. We came across their restaurant on Google on a random Monday morning and decided to try. The service was good and the waitress was attentive to us. The boozy coffee was delicious and the omlettes were great. Will definitely be stopping by again.

After reading all of the great reviews and seeing instagram reels, I knew my husband and I had to try PC out! We went on a Saturday around 1pm and it was busy, but there was no wait for a table. The hostess and our waitress were very warm and welcoming. My husband ordered a full stack of buttermilk pancakes with a side of bacon. I myself ordered a garden veggie breakfast burrito that came with home fries and a side of one piece of french toast. All of our food was excellent! The pancakes were warm and fluffy, the bacon crispy, my burrito was packed with veggies, and the french toast perfectly sweet. The restaurant itself was good sized, and had a separate room for parties. My only complaint would be that PC is very drafty, as the front door opens into a huge open room of tables. I consider the draft a minor detail though. My husband and I will gladly return!

I'm always looking to explore for more diner options, and this was my first time to Parkside. This place has an upscale feel, is pretty big inside, & was absolutely bustling on this Saturday morning. Menu has standard breakfast & lunch items, but an impressively array of creative options - see menu pics. It's a bit more expensive than other nearby breakfast options, e.g., $16-$18 for omelettes, but the prime N.Main street, downtown Bristol location comes at a premium. Food was good and service was flawless!

One of the best brunches I've had in a long time! The Parkside had a huge menu with so many creative options for sandwiches, sweets, drinks, and more. Our personal favorite was the kielbasa sandwich (Spanky's revenge), but everything was fresh and high quality. Our server and the owners were incredibly kind, checking in often and making us feel right at home. Cute decor, and it just felt like such a welcoming neighborhood spot. I hope guy Fieri would consider the Parkside next time he's in CT for Triple D!

Came here for brunch during a weekday. It was pretty busy which surprised me. I got the stuffed French toast and it was tasty. I enjoyed it along with my iced coffee. It was a nice spot to go and chat the day away. Plenty of parking as well.

The place is beautiful and spacious with lots of seating in 4 separate areas, including a counter with lots of seats. The menu items are varied, with many unique and creative selecyions as well as the usual fare. Our waitress, Amanda, earned this nickname from me: "Amazing Amanda." She was thorough, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous. And she wrote separate checks for our table of 20! What a gem. I ordered the steak and eggs, and it was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back!

Came here with my family during a short road-trip and it did not disappoint! The ambience is very well laid out and modern, my niece said "this is a nice place" and I agree! Upon entering, the woman in the front out our name down and told us about 15-20 min and for sure within 15 min we were seated, I love an establishment that knows their actual wait times and is organized with a list- kudos! I ordered the iced French toast latte (special) with almond milk and it surely was like a dessert in a drink --YUM! 4/5 For my main, I had the eggs Benedict (one of my favorite breakfast/brunch meals) and it also hit the spot! The potatoes were nicely cooked and seasoned and of course the eggs and hollandaise together were just great together in this dish. 4/5 My son had the Philly cheesesteak breakfast burrito and loved it as well, he ate the whole thing! To share, we all had the mixed berry cheesecake crepes (special) -- they were yummy. The crepes were a bit moist than I'm used to but delicious and the filling was not too sweet 3.5/5 Our server was great! Unfortunately I don't remember her name but she was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed.

Good breakfast and lunch spot. Fast service. Home fries were ok but everything else was good.

Stopped in around 1130am on a Sunday for a quick bite. There was a 20 minute wait but we grabbed seats at the bar within 5 mins. The service was fantastic. Our waitress was so efficient and made sure to keep checking on us. We ordered the #6 and a western omelette. Both dishes were amazing. The omelette was a little more moist on the inside than I usually prefer and the toast was a little soggy, but the flavors were great. I asked for the home fries well done and you can get them well done on the grill or deep fried. They also have a selection of hot sauces which is nice too. Overall, prices are also great. Would highly recommend.

It's very rare to find a place that does this. I was excitedand ordered two grinders. One was the Lucky Luciano and the other was the Sicilian. The. Lucky Luciano is a vegetable base with provolone cheese. It was thinly sliced provolone cheese, two slices on the entire grinder. Unfortunately, due to the marinated mushrooms and marinated eggplant. The bread was pretty soaked. I think if they used more cheese as a barrier, this sandwich could've been better. The Sicilian is basically an eggplant Parmesan. I did not care for this in Parmesan however it is edible. The eggplant was sliced, extremely thin that you could barely taste it. Instead of using melted mozzarella, there was one hunk of fresh mozzarella on the sandwich. I did feel that the prices were pretty expensive however, I probably would try the vegetable sandwich again if I eat it in person and ask them to put extra provolone around the bread . A lot of the reviews people love it here so I might try some other sandwiches however I don't eat meat so these were the two sandwiches I was interested in.

I walked in and from first glance, you can tell it is a staple type establishment for those within the community of Plainville. A spot that folks love to hit up in the mornings and for lunch to get their day started and to keep it going. I always can appreciate a good home-style vibe. Jim's had a few patrons inside, all having conversations with the ladies behind the counter that were making food and then the gentleman at the register as well. I will say that when I walked up to the counter, one lady looked at me as if I had a third eye, scoffed and walked away but I didn't think much of it for she may have been having a bad morning....moments later the other Woman said, "What do you want?" in a questionable tone but again, I digress for they both looked flustered. I placed an order and simply walked to the register and proceeded to grab a few more items for my review. I started off with the Pastrami Reuben on hardroll. The roll was toasted for that crispy factor and the pastrami itself, was good. You really can't go wrong when the cut on the pastrami is just right and it has a nice cut about it. The sauerkraut was ok, nothing major to write home about to be honest and it had a nice savory sauce with some Swiss cheese that. complemented the sandwich. Moving along to their macaroni salad! The mayo was tangy, and the red onions drew in the flavor profile rather nicely. It was seasoned with pepper as well and with the macaroni cooked to near perfection, you couldn't go wrong here. Now their Bacon, Egg and cheese on a hard roll left much to be desired. More BREAD than egg and bacon....You could barely see it from the side, let alone taste anything. I was sadly disappointed in their excuse for a breakfast sandwich. It lacked style, ingredients and flavor. This brings us over to their Apple Crisp! Fresh apples, cinnamon and granola goodness that made up for the horrible breakfast sandwich. Each bite of the crisp sent harps my way to play me a melody of tasty treats. Not too bad but between their. questionable customer service and my breakfast sandwich, I can only give Jim's an overall score of 3.5.
