Delicious and inexpensive for a place in that area. It's on a street about five minutes walk from…read moreVatican museum. We ordered chicken and shrimp and all turned out really good. We went twice during our stay simply because the first time was so good we decided to go again. One thing we missed out is hola hola dessert which is apparently their speciality and ordered by almost everyone in the restaurant when we went. It's a ice cream, jelly drink. I will definitely go back if I come to rome again. Ps: The owner is super niceeeee!

We are here from Washington, D.C. renting an apartment in Prati district near Vatican. We got so…read moretired of Pizza and Pasta that we had to get this food no matter what. It specializes in Filipino food, which is so good. I had a shrimp soup called sinigang with hip on. Oh boy, so good and tangy. I'm Pinoy so this is comfort food to the max. I rarely eat it because I don't cook and my mother hasn't in long time. This was just as good, if not just a bit better than my mom's cooking. We had gone to Vatican museum, and were famished so came here around 2 pm, late for lunch, but it was pretty filled up. We went overboard and ordered $50 of food. The prices are reasonable, less than 7 euros for entree, but we ordered 3 entrees, 2 appetizers dishes of lumpia, plus a dish called generoso, which was a combo plate. So full we had to back to apartment for siesta and I am about to nap! 6 more days here, but definitely going back for carryout next week! This is near the Cipro metro station, which is closest stop to Vatican Museum.

This was my second trip to Rome, the first in 2019 we stumbled upon this small hole in the wall…read morestreet pasta and fell in love. This time we nearly had it every day, and for 8€ a bowl you can't blame me. Must try is the pappardelle ragu, portions are enough to share for two. And be sure to eat it on the stoop of the restaurant for the full experience! Expect your hot and fresh pasta ready in 3-5 mins on a busy day.

This is a review based on getting my pasta to go…read more This was my first meal when I landed in Rome, so my travel group was hungry and very excited for our first Italian/Roman meal. Therefore, we ordered one of everything Hey, why not? Right?! It was definitely fresh pasta because you see them making the pasta from flour to all the different types of pasta shapes. And fresh pasta tends to stick together when cooled down. Here is the ranking of how I liked their pastas. They were all good but this is based on my flavor preference and how good everything was after bringing it back to the Airbnb. 6. Strozzapreti al pesto 5. Spaghetti Cacio e pepe 4. Fusilli al pomodoro 3. Strozzapreti al tartufo 2. Pappardelle al Ragu 1. Spaghetti alla Carbonara I think my ranking might have changed drastically if I ate everything on the spot. As you can tell by now, my recommendation is to eat it there as soon as you get your order. ¨ It was really good for being "take-out" style. Def worth stopping by for guaranteed yummy fresh pasta. So, if you have stomach space and are contemplating, yes, go! Worth the virality and hype. But I wouldn't suggest eating here every day. You're in Rome, explore! Try to find another yummy spot! ¨ Things to know: -Like most of Rome, they accept cards. -When you order, if are you getting it go, let them know so that they can pack it for you. -After you order, they give you a pager so you know when your order is ready. -If you order to go (I would suggest not if you can eat it there fresh) and if you have a bit of a walk, I would not suggest holding the bag by the handle cuz the steam of the food made our bags rip slowly. I'm glad we realized this because we would've been sad if all our pasta landed on the floor. And the covers do get warped by the steam, so everything shifts around. So, don't be like me - swinging the bag happily. Be more mindful. -Wait time can vary. Mine wasn't too bad cuz there weren't a lot of people. -The only problem with eating there is that there is no seating. So, I wouldn't have been able to get every single pasta dish to try. Pros and cons of eating it fresh and hot vs eating comfortably in AC.
