I ordered the family meal A it was stated on the menu for 29.99. Show up to pick it up and it's 40.99 never again
    Erin W.

Price on the menu clearly says 29.99 show up to pick it up and they charge us 40.99 I will not be going here again. If it's not the price they need to change the posted menu

Used to be my favorite go to Chinese place YEARS ago but they went downhill bad (food quality, but customer service has always been friendly). The chicken started not tasting fresh which made me stay away for a long time. Today I decided to give them a second chance. Wok to go has been the only place I ever liked the orange chicken from. The fresh orange slices really brings out the flavor, and this is why they've always been my favorite up until it went downhill maybe 4-5 years ago. Today I would say the chicken tasted pretty good, still has the fresh orange slices/with that fresh orange flavor for the chicken. Chicken tasted pretty fresh (but I also went before 12pm if that makes a difference) The only slight difference of the old orange chicken and todays was it having a little more of a kick to it than it used to. Overall pretty good, on top of the crab Rangoons. The only bad part of my meal was the shrimp fried rice. It was literally the most blandest fried rice I've EVER had. I could've went without it, it could've went straight to the trash for all I care. Their fried rice used to be good, now it must just be "for show" rather than for consumption. Other than that, I'm glad I gave them a second chance today.

This started out as a 4-star review, but after finishing it, I realized I did not have a single drawback to mention about this visit, so here goes... Called out for 2 roasted pork eggrolls, wonton soup, crab rangoons (5), and beef mai fun. $29 with tax w/o tip, and ready within 5 min of the promised time for pick up. Loved that sauces & plasticware were on the side; hate to waste what I won't use. Eggrolls were tasty and properly cooked all the way through. Rangoons tasted homemade, were large and came with ample sweet & sour sauce. Wonton soup came with crispy strips, and there were plenty of wontons for the amount of broth. VERY yummy. Beef mai fun was just what I was craving. Lots of tender beef, not tons of veggies. (Okay, maybe a few more veggies would have been nice.) Reheated easily since there was no way I could finish any of what I ordered in one sitting. I made 3 meals out of it. Service was very nice and friendly. Order was well packaged and easy to unpack and repack. Cardboard was even used to make sure my mai fun container wasn't crushed. Was craving Chinese food, a good Chinese without having to do a sit-down meal. What a gem! Can't wait to order again.

Don't know if this was just a fluke, because their menu says they take CC. Order was ready when I arrived in 25 minutes (said they had just bagged it - and it was still hot) and service was friendly. Quantities are huge. However, I struggled with the taste of almost every single item we ordered, and I ordered a lot to be sure I could get a feel for their quality: sm egg drop soup, lg hot & sour soup, chicken lo mein (meal, not lunch special), app of crab rangoons and 2 lunch specials, both with egg rolls, one w white rice, one with the shrimp fried rice, one roasted pork with vegetables, one pepper steak. There is no description on the menu for most items. Crab rangoons: huge amounts of filling, but the filling...what was it? It was seasoned and was not like anything I've ever tasted. I'd almost venture to say it was a crabcake filling. It was definitely lacking in cream cheese. I ate 2 and had to trash the others. Egg drop soup: wrong texture, wrong taste. Most went down the drain. Hot & sour soup: gelatinous texture instead of smooth, brothy texture, and seasoning was off. Nothing about it was hot & sour. Most went down the drain. Lo Mein: OK, the to go menu I picked up while I was there said "made with thin egg noodles." Picture is below. Nothing like expected lo mein; more like a chicken dish over lots of angel hair. It actually had a good taste - for something other than lo mein. Took 2 bites; rest is being given to co-workers who might enjoy it. Egg rolls: large, well cooked. Tasty filling except for the fact they had shrimp in them. If I had known, I would not have ordered. Roasted pork: nice flavor, pork a bit dry on edges. Picked shrimp out of fried rice (expected to do this; did not expect to bite into shrimp in my egg roll) and rest of rice was nicely flavored. Pepper steak: lots and lots and lots of dark brown gravy with moderate flavor. Again, thick texture to gravy (like above soups). Beef was tender, peppers were cooked just right and white rice was nice texture. $65 before tip. So, if you want friendly service, large portions and are not hung up on flavors (I'm probably ruined by years of New York Chinese food), this might be your spot. It's just definitely not my spot.

I remember when this place used to be called Christine's Empress of China. I believe Christine was…read morethe owner back then, and now it's simply Empress of China. The name may have shortened, but the experience is still just as memorable. From the outside, you're not really sure what you're about to walk into. You get a hint of the Asian aesthetic, but you don't realize how immersive it's going to feel. Then you open the door. Right at the entrance is a koi fish pond with a small bridge over it. No, you can't walk across the bridge, but the koi are real, and you walk right by them on your way to the dining room. It immediately sets the tone. The dining room itself feels like you've stepped straight into China. The decor, the lighting, the details, everything transports you. It matches the cuisine and elevates the entire dining experience. The waitresses are incredibly sweet, respectful, patient, and kind. They answered all of my questions about the menu without hesitation and made sure we felt comfortable. The service feels authentic and attentive without being rushed. I ordered the boneless chicken with vegetables, fried rice, and egg rolls. The homemade egg rolls are always my favorite. You can absolutely tell they're hand rolled and not pulled from a freezer. The boneless chicken is made with hand cut chicken breast, and the batter is soft and flaky. It almost melts in your mouth. Everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The portion sizes are generous. It's definitely a eat now, eat later, and maybe even share with a friend kind of place. If you've only ever ordered takeout from here, you are missing half the experience. Sit down inside and take it all in. It's one thing to eat Chinese food. It's another thing to feel like you've been transported while doing it. This place leaves an impression.

The restaurant looks like it's straight out of China, one of those spots where you already know the food is about to slap just from walking in. Food: We ordered the combination fried rice, sweet and sour fried fish, handmade egg rolls, and an order of Cho's, and everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The combination fried rice was packed with meat and shrimp, well-seasoned, and not greasy. The sweet and sour fried fish was crispy on the outside and tender inside, with a perfect balance of sweet and tangy sauce. The handmade egg rolls were a standout, crispy, flavorful, and clearly made in-house, not frozen. The Cho's were also delicious and added a nice variety to the meal. Portions were generous and very satisfying, making it a great lunch spot if you're hungry. Service: The waitress was attentive and friendly, checking on us regularly and making sure everything came out quickly and correctly. The service felt genuine and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Ambiance: The restaurant has a very authentic, no-frills Chinese restaurant feel. It's simple, clean, and comfortable. the kind of place you go for good food, not fancy décor. It felt relaxed and perfect for a casual lunch with no rush. Overall: This spot is a hidden gem for real Chinese food. Great portions, bold flavors, and friendly service made for a solid lunch experience. If you're looking for authentic-tasting Chinese food that hits the spot, this place is definitely worth checking out. I'll be back to try more items off the menu.

It took a while for our servers to find us and when our orders were put in it took over an hour to deliver two dishes. We had to remind them and ask them multiple times when our meal would come. We were met with the response that the large event would take priority over our meals. The black pepper tofu was quite good and the lemongrass tofu was decent but would prob not get it again.
