My good friend and decided to stop here for lunch. Huge variety. Great prices for a TON of food. The entire place is new and modern. Seating is very comfortable. Very clean. Simple in decor and bright. Food was delicious and service was great. We are definitely coming back.

Chicken rice bowl

First time here. This is a walk up service. I ordered a chicken stir fry with shrimp added. I got to choose my noodles that came with different veggies. I also ordered the blue crab Rangoons. ( 6 in order). My husband ordered a rice bowl with chicken. It was all delicious. It was served hot. I would like to see different pictures of what I could order, or even what some of the things on the menu was. But they have a book behind counter ( ask for it) that helped me with my order. I would recommend trying this place the food is delicious..

A+ This place is amazing! If you haven't had it yet, you are missing out. Go and try it! Also don't get delivery - go there and enjoy it. Basically it's an Asian fusion place that cover India and SE Asian cuisine. It's got an authentic ethnic feel but perfect for American pallets and those who are more adventurous. Value (A) It's around $15 a person and you get plenty of food. Great portion sizes. Service (A+) Super friendly and nice staff. Takes about 10 minutes to get it out and they bring it to your table. The interior is very modern and inviting. Great place to eat by yourself or a bunch of friends. It's a sit down casual place. Food (A+) Check out the pics. The food was excellent. My wife got the Spicy Chilli paneer bowl - it was excellent - try it with the baby corn or see if they will mix it up. My sister in law got the Bangkok pad Thai with chicken. It was super good. The chicken had a smoky flavor. Don't believe the negative reviews - they problem going to come from people getting delivery, being nit-picky or just not the target audience. The staff is super nice and friendly and I'm sure will correct any issue Everyone I am in Bloomington I will come here. Heck we will probably come here again tomorrow. Try this place out if you at all like SE Asian cuisine.

First time there. No clue what to order. Sat there for awhile to try to figure out what to order. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. My friend and I finally ordered. We both ordered the Bulgogi Bop bowl. My friend had it with chicken and I had it with beef. Beef was a bit chewy but overall it was good. Recommended!

Stir fry beef was really good. I'm sorry I should have took a starting picture. I could not eat it all.

The food was really good. I had stir fry with beef. There was too much for me to eat. The service was really good.

Chicken Satay with peanut sauce. Good!

The food was really really good!! Service was quick and the staff were friendly. You order at the window and then they bring it to your table. We asked for extra side plates and shared all of our dishes.

Red curry- so good

We were looking for some flavor for dinner and Wok to Bowl hit the spot. I had Red Thai curry chicken with wonderful garlic naan. My wife had chicken tika masala. Both had awesome flavor with generous servings, the naan was equally delicious. Decor is fresh and clean, service was very helpful and gave suggestions. We will be back.

The red Thai curry was very tasty and so was the Indian Tiki Masala. The balance between sauce, noodles and protein was perfect. The bowls were huge.

Nicely done! This is a new fast-service restaurant with a clean, comfortable, and attractive interior. They offer a large variety of Asian dishes but make ordering simple with a step-by-step menu board. Everyone was so nice and the food was outstanding! So far, the Pad Thai Noodles, Butter Chicken Curry, Orange Chicken Stir fry, and Veggie Springrolls have been fantastic. The Roti and Naan breads served with the entrees were delicious, too. I can't wait to go back and try more!

Review Visit: June 10th, 2015…read more Carl's Ice Cream.... Home of the Creepy Ice Cream Cone. Those eyes. Those ice cream eyes still haunt me to this day. They will never leave my memory. Nor will the decent ice cream served here. During one of my many trips to explore Bloomington-Normal, I decided to start trying out the ice cream shacks in the dual city. Twin cities. Hyphenated names. Whatever you want to call them. I used some Google-fu to look up places to grab the sugary snack and Carl's was one of the first results. My girlfriend at the time said that it was good enough for her, so we punched the address in to the GPS and headed that way. Upon pulling up, I was startled by the feeling that I was being watched. After getting out of the car, I had to look around and see what was causing that feeling. It was then that I locked eyes with Carl. The incredibly creepy ice cream cone on a pole that is staring down on you. Trying to ignore that, we shuffled to the front of the building and looked over the menu. Looking at their current online menu to help refresh my memory, I am surprised to see them offering only ice cream and ice cream-style treats. Most ice cream shacks offer not only a ton of different frozen dessert items but also a multitude of food items as well. Not Carl's. They just have ice cream and ice cream-related products. We eventually figured out what we wanted and placed an order. I remember getting my usual (peanut butter malt/blizzard/shake) and being just slightly disappointed in the flavor and lack of a wow-factor. Not but a year later, we ended back here by some stroke of luck and I got a cone of ice cream. It was mutli-colored (as seen below) and I remember enjoying that more than I did with my 2015 choice. Back to 2015, I remember us standing our and enjoying the nice snack after a long day of exploring. I just couldn't help but feel that Carl, the ice cream mascot, was looking down on us. Like a chef watching a VIP eating their signature meal to see their reaction. All in all though, the place was pretty good. More-so the second time around. The second trip would've scored a 4.75/5. I am still surprised they don't offer non-ice cream options, but maybe The Carl doesn't allow them to serve anything but ice cream. There is a second location in Normal, Illinois. They seem to have a 'muffler-man' statue that was repurposed in to a man holding ice cream. I have yet to visit that place but hopefully his stare is less soul-piercing than Carl, the Ice Cream Cone's.

Love Carl's! My fave is the "Almond Joy" - coconut ice cream packed with almonds and chocolate. But…read moreall their "hard ice creams" are good and they have lots of flavors. They also have the soft serve, sundaes, and other novelties you'd expect. There's something for every family member and the prices are reasonable. The servers have always been nice and fast, even with a crowd there.

The potatoes were also pretty solid. The flavored tea was nice, it just needed a bit of sugar. Our waitress was super friendly and made the experience even better. She was enthusiastic and enjoyed sharing her favorite menu items, which I appreciated. The ambiance was very welcoming, and I liked how open the space felt. The only downside was that the host who seated us seemed a little short when asking if we had reservations, especially when I asked if they were required.

First time and man, did not disappoint…read more Everything was amazing and it was hard to pick what to eat! Got a flight- moon jumper (smoky), black angel (a little on the burnt side), blackberry gose, pumpkin porter (spicy but not fake pumpkin flavor spicy). Beer battered asparagus for the appetizer- delicious! Crunchy which was great! Husband and I split a bacon pickle pizza (omg!!) and spicy chicken sandwich with wedges (huge, thick potato slices). Definitely recommend the pizza, so flavorful! Spicy chicken was both hot and spicy from the jalapeños and sweet from the sauce. Madysen was our server and was amazing and attentive!
