An assortment of the pastries I bought.

Cinnamon Roll: Sweetness of the frosting balances out the roll well. 8/10 Glazed Scone: Meh. Too thick for my liking. A little too dry, even for a scone. 4/10 Hazelnut Chocolate Muffin: Dry. 4/10 Chocolate Chip Cookie: You could type in "chocolate chip cookie" into Google, mindlessly click on the first recipe result you see, make them, and they would be better than these. 2/10 Double Chocolate Cookie: Cookie flavor was nice and chocolately. Frosting was a little too sweet for my liking. 6/10 Sugar Cookie: Frosting was, again, a little too sweet but synergized nicely with the cookie. 8/10

This cute Blakey is pumping out so yummy cookies! I believe they rotate the selection but my fav was cherry thumbprint looking cookie. Our selection was all very good though. Very open space to get a cookie, cup of Joe, and relax.

We stopped here to pick up dessert for our afternoon coffee. Service was good. Items all looked tasty. I went with the blueberry muffin. Good choice.

For what it is, this bakery does a good job. It looks like a cute place to indulge in sweets with a friend. The prices are reasonable. I paid about $6 for two cookies and a muffin. As for quality, they're fine. I would say that they're about the level of what you'd expect for a run of the mill coffee shop. Unless you're particularly picky, they will do for a sweets craving. Not quite up to an OMG I will drive out of my way to get this level, but they're tasty enough. Worth a stop if you happen to be in the area and don't just want to get a pack of cookies from a grocery store.

Ivy Lane bakery was so cute! When you walk in, it looks like you are walking into grandma's kitchen. The chairs are miss matched and they have cute little plate ware. I was in a fall mood, so I went in for a cup of coffee and a seasonal pastry. The attendant behind the counter was super nice. She was attentive and helped me immediately. I ordered the pumpkin muffin. It was very good! Super moist and flavorful. The coffee was small for what a paid and average. It is self serve and was more the quality you get offered for free when in the waiting room somewere. This place is definitely more about the baked goods than the coffee, but it is still very cozy inside. It was very clean, which is good. I would absolutely come again. I would probably get another seasonal dessert, perhaps in summer?

So my friends and I got a mixed dozen from here and liked them so much we went back for another dozen the next day. There wasn't a cookie we didn't thoroughly enjoy, tho the frosted oatmeal were my fave.

Melt-in-your-mouth iced sugar cookie, buckeye cookie, vanilla iced coffee with almond milk

I'm sitting inside Ivy Lane, which is pleasantly cool on a hot day and adorably decorated, using their free wifi, enjoying a delicious sugar cookie (this cookie with frosting and large sugar crystals on top melted in my mouth) and buckeye cookie and a refreshing vanilla almond milk iced coffee as some good music plays overhead. The people working here are very pleasant and patient, and the service was extremely quick. Everything is very reasonably priced too. I would highly recommend that anyone who loves cookies stops by Ivy Lane Bakery to get some cookies and coffee. As a cookie baker myself, my standards are high, and Ivy Lane completely met my standards.

Extremely cute bakery on N. Main. This was my first visit to Bloomington, and I was happily surprised by the local bakery find. Coming from a larger city it's nice to get the home town feel and kindness from the staff. Upon entering the staff could tell that I had never been to the bakery before and explained the entire rundown for me. Few s elections to choose from; however, what they do have is very delicious. I'm not sure the type of muffin I had, I believe they called it a jungle. It was full of flavor, and was heaven on a dish. I also tried their local coffee brew, which was pair with a dash of vanilla. The decor seems to be a collection of chairs and china from all over. Miss match plates, cups and silverware, which adds to the small town feel. The bakery is definitely worth the stop! Free high speed WIFI!

Saturday selection of scones, muffins, and cookies. A couple of gluten free options as well! *looked much better in person, bad photo

It's got some pretty interesting things and you can even order a hot meal. The selection isn't as good as something like Whole Foods, but it's locally owned. Has a lot of the things you can find somewhere else cheaper. That's the bad thing about it, so if you're just looking for good prices they won't have these. Even so, there's a few things that aren't bad. The staff is fairly knowledgeable. Comparing to other stores, it seems best as a complement to other places to get groceries. Amazing health food that is great for my wife who is on gluten free diet. Their soups are absolutely delicious. Great deals and best of all, there's hard to find products I've never seen before! They have an eatery upstairs, they offer classes too! They're always promoting local happenings in the area on the bulletin board by the restroom. Staff here was a pleasure to be around. They even encourage everyone to become an owner too which really isn't much. They have over 6,000 owners and after my experience here I might consider becoming one too! Free boxes! My wife was really happy about how they sort out their trash here too! This is the standard bearer of what a health store should be. I don't come to Bloomington much but I highly suggest visiting this place! One of the best health food stores I've been too!

Famous for their amazing coffee, teas and homemade baked goods, today's search was for the ellusive Pumpkin Spice Latte with real Pumpkin! I ordered an iced pumpkin spice latte with an extra shot of espresso. It was a perfect blend of espresso, pumpkin, spices and cream! Very refreshing after a day of errands and just what I needed for the mid-afternoon slump. I eyed the pumpkin cake but will have to try that next time as too full from lunch.
