We had a large group, so we ended up booking the mid-tier set menu. Note that if you're a cilantro hater...almost every dish on this set menu contained cilantro, except for maybe 1-2 dishes and obviously the desserts. It's not explicitly stated in the ingredients for each dish, so we didn't initially think it would be an issue for the member of our party that didn't like cilantro. But as each dish came out, we saw that they LOVE to use cilantro here. Just something to be aware of. If you hate cilantro maybe you should ask them to leave it out of whatever you order. Highlights from this set menu for me were the Sichuanese Beef Salad and the Lazi-Ji Chicken Wings. The chicken wings had a nice spicy kick! Everything on the menu was decent, although the curries were a bit underwhelming and watery. The Coconut and Pandan 'Tres Leches' Cake was good too, although I didn't taste the pandan flavor at all. I enjoyed the lamb skewers, but I know not everyone likes lamb, so it's interesting that they have it on the mid and upper tier set menus. I feel like they should probably provide an alternative option for those who find lamb too gamy. Overall, a great option if you're looking for Asian food in the area!

The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it's not a sit down restaurant with an extensive menu. Only 2 options of Chinese food in Belgrade. Was in the mood for some fried rice. Ordered Pork fried rice and Chicken fried rice last night. The worst fried rice I have ever had. How hard it is to screw rice up. Pork fried rice literally had 6 to 8 pieces of 1/4 inch pork. I had to look for the meat. Told them not to over load with veggies but they still did. Chicken fried rice was ok. The part that made us mad was they came and told us that they are closed and the staff wants to leave and if we can hurry up. WTF. I know we went in 20 mins before closing time, but that's not how you are suppose to treat your customers. Waste of money. Will never be back. Hong Kong city is much better. read more

Worst Chinese food ive ever had. Orange Chicken is nothing like orange chicken, more like sweet and sour. The chow mein is like a nasty soup. Honey walnut prawns swimming in mayonnaise. Brought the orange chicken and chow mein back because I truly thought they were the wrong order (and gross) and the lady told me we have the right order and sent me on my way. Will never eat here again. read more

Yo Poké Fusion

It's okay for being the only easily accesible poke shop in town…read more I mean, we keep coming back so it's obviously not terrible but it's also extremely inconsistent. I actually held off on writing this review until our after our fourth visit to make a fair judgement. Yo Poke is a good option if you're looking for a quick and easy meal. The quality of the fish is on the mid-level of good and the ingredients are typically fresh. As for the store itself, it's kept very clean and there are a several tables and chairs if you choose to sit and eat. We've visited on a few occasions now and the staff has been friendly every single time. The biggest problem lies in consistency. On two out of four visits, we received poke bowls that were so sad looking with 6 or 7 little cubes of fish. On the other two visits, we were served a portion that looks like most other restaurants offer. (I've been BYO poke restaurants in several states). At this point, we watch the person building our bowls getting a tiny half scoop of protein, usually fish, or a full one. It's very interesting to me how the servings can come out so different even though they literally use the same scooper...just fill that tiny little thing up and let's call it a day. To be honest, a full scoop versus a half scoop usually determines a generous tip or a "this is just to be nice" one. The food itself is usually pretty tasty, no complaints on that front. Here is one of my favorite BYO combos: + Sushi Rice + Proteins: Tuna & Salmon + Mix-ins: White & Green Onions. + Sauces: Shoyu & Wasabi Mayo. + Sides: Edamame, Surimi Salad, Ginger & Avocado + Toppings: Sesame Oil, Tempura Flakes & Furikake If you try it, let me know what you think! Oh, one more thing! Don't try to order from GrubHub. I've tried to order delivery 3 times and my order was delayed by more than 2 hours every single time before it got canceled!

Yo Poke looks like a number of poke establishments--a nice counter that also serves as a make-table…read morefor the crew, a clear menu on the wall with items assorted by when you need to share them, and a few tables (high and low) for sitting and eating though it looks like most customers take out their food. The look is nothing special, but it does seem to be appropriate for this kind of restaurant. The food was remarkably medium. I would have liked to see some suggested poke bowls on the menu rather than leaving my bowl to my suggestions. The fish seemed pretty fresh, and the vegetables were crisp. While it wasn't bad, it didn't seem to rise to "good" either. I also had the miso soup, which was lukewarm and came from a machine (it looked like the hot chocolate machines that were once ubiquitous). It had no particular taste and featured lumps of tofu and a garnish of wakame. The soup wasn't even medium, and having it served in disposable bowls with plastic spoons made it less apealing. At $26, this meal wasn't worth it. Of course, the management has the payment device throwing on tip options so that you can tip a staff that looks inconvenienced by your presence and well before you taste the food (sorry, this is stupid tipping). This place needs some quality control on the food, better ideas for bowls, and a little bit of joy from the employees. An expensive downer.
