The wok should mean.. just "wok" on by. Interesting take on Chinese food. Let's start with the service. Service was good, although the personality (or lack there of) of the waitress was stellar. Asked for hot tea, immediately received a pot of water that even after steeping for 10 minutes or so was, well hot water. The food. The three of us ordered different plates from the lunch menu. The beef and broccoli was good, the pepper beef was okay, but the peppers were very large chunks and not quite cooked through. Both entrees were served with about 2 cups of rice on each plate. The combination plate of almond chicken, fried rice, chicken chow mein and sweet/sour pork was the most interesting take on almond chicken I have ever had. Bite sized chunks of chicken fried in a very thick tempura batter with chicken gravy over and crushed almond sprinkles. Chicken chow mein was more like chop suey, wet, lots of bean sprouts over crunchy fried chow mein noodles Sweet and sour pork was also fried in a tempura batter, no seasoning what so ever and some sweet/sour sauce over the top. Probs not the best place to go for Chinese, although the egg drop soup was okay, and the bathroom was clean. read more

Impressed! Based on the reviews I was skeptical but I should have figured I should try it myself before reading Yelp.. got the Mongolian beef, the meat was tender and juicy. Hot and sour soup was the right tang and consistency. Lunch special was a great price and they serve tea for the table which has been lost for a lot of places. Will definitely be back! read more

The pork fried rice is just white river dressed with soy sauce and tiny pieces of pork and egg. The sesame chicken is hard chicken with more vegetables than chicken and very salty. I wanted to celebrate my 41st birthday with some Chinese food....this place failed us big time! first of all they were takeout only tonight, that I can handle and deal with. but after driving 30 mins back home with my birthday dinner we got home to find our food tasted like dawn dish soap! the chicken was fried so many times it was harder than Jerky and I ended throwing out the soapy leathery food and made myself a peanut butter sandwich and it alone far exceeded the quality of the food we paid $40 for! go somewhere else! even the local grocery store sells some Chinese food in the deli that at least doesn't taste like dawn dish soap!!! read more

I've been here many times, and I honestly don't understand the negative reviews. It is the only good chinese place in the bozeman-belgrade area and I enjoyed their moo goo chicken. Service is great, I have never had a bad or impatient experience with the workers. The lighting is nice, and I think the smell is amazing. Put in an order through Door Dash and couldn't be more disappointed. The BBQ Pork Loin appetizer was flavorless and almost too dry to eat. I couldn't get through more than half of it. The Chicken Chow Mein HAD NO FREAKING NOODLES IN IT! It was just straight chicken and veggies... and it was so greasy and watered down that every fork-full was dripping. The entire bottom third of the container was liquid. The Garlic Chicken tasted fantastic. However, there had to be only about six or seven pieces of chicken in the container. I was just there, wanting to have a nice birthday lunch and the hostess was so rude right off the bat with eye rolling and glaring and very loud sighs of annoyance. Imagine a half dried up fish tank full of rotting fish and vegetation in the hot sun... that is what the egg drop soup smelled and tasted like. When I went in I had placed an order and she didn't tell me my total was going to be 62.50 when it was supposed to be around 40 dollars. For three simple meals. She said it was too much of a hassle. Then, she went into the back yelling at the chef to give me a refund saying I don't know what I was thinking looking at an old menu. The chef came out and he was also very disrespectful. He kept cursing at me.. dropping f-bombs and saying "this is stupid!" Throwing paper around, yelling, etc. And when he was walking away the waitress/hostess said again "I don't know what she was thinking" all while yelling this in front of other costumers! They called me stupid and continued to degrade me in front of others. Making it a way bigger deal than it needed to be. Eventually they "voided" the 62.50 and dropped it down to 40.00 (the price it should've been) BUT they instead double charged us. At this point we've been charged 102.50! I went back in a few hours later with a parent to try and understand why the money isn't on our card yet, and she told us it would take a few days. We also tried to have them acknowledge the way they treated me wasn't okay. Instead, the waitress laughed at us. She made no effort to apologize. So disappointed. I have ordered takeout here quite a few times. Not the best food, but it's okay. Anyway, I order the same thing every time. We get home and there is no soup. My husband called to let them know our soup was missing and gets attitude. The girl tells him he didn't specify the soup choice. Unfortunately this restaurant has serious management issues. We ordered a delivery order and it took over 2.5 hours to be delivered. As a hungry couple with little children we tried to remain as calm as possible. We called 30 min after our meal was to be delivered and they said it was on its way. This went on for the next 2 hours... "It's on its way". Once it arrived, we were given a $50 dollar credit. We called back tonight (1 month later) and were told they will not honor our credit because they don't remember it. We stated we still have a voice mail from the Belgrade Wok from a worker Emily and all they said is sorry. Unfortunately we will never eat here again... Way to lose loyal customers! read more

I called to ask about my order and was informed they are busy & the computer couldn't Calculate my delivery time accurately. However, if I can place an order for pickup & get it in 20 minutes I feel this isn't a very good excuse as I'm only 15 minutes away during the highest volume of traffic. This leads me to believe that my food sat in somebody's car while they made several deliveries & I drew the short stick to get the cold food. Not to mention I ALWAYS have to request crispy noodles because they are not on the online menu & I NEVER get them unless I order pickup & ask for them AGAIN upon arrival. I have asked several times for the menu to get updated to no avail.
