First time here and not sure if we liked it too much. Alcoholic drinks were strong. Was okay nothing special. I had to send back the Mac and cheese because it watery and did not taste good at all. We did not see our waitress very much she hardly came to the table. I understand that it was busy but really you should treat every customer as if they are your only customer. She wasn't the worst waitress I ever had but she sure wasn't the best. Heck just to pay the bill we had to ask another waitress to take our bill so we could pay and leave. I frequent WOB pretty regularly for lunch, they have a $6 hamburger on special every Monday that is delicious. I have also had their nachos and flatbreads, all delicious. I'm not big on chains because of the food quality but this place is one of the few exceptions. Great atmosphere with plenty of TVs and the wait staff is always on point and friendly. The kitchen can be a little slow sometimes but that's the only negative thing that I can say about this place. Will continue to be a regular and would definitely recommend. read more

Stopped by tonight to check it out. This is my third WOB to visit. Without a doubt, this one is the best! The staff is on top of the new arrivals and courteous. The food was brought out fast and with enthusiasm. The Pretzel was the best I've had. This staff and management is obviously ahead of the others. Live music tonight! The duet is awesome! Great place to come watch the Eastern conference finals. Everyone is into the game so it makes for a better crowd. The drinks are mostly beer. Plenty of variety and options but if you prefer mixed drinks, they have that too. The server is quick with the food even with the place being packed! This place is so good! They have the cutest 5 oz - $2.50 Happy Hour at lunch. Literally you can have amazing beers for $2.50 each! I ordered the chicken sliders with Mac and cheese. They came out fast and the sliders were a litter overcooked but they were redoing my meal and didn't want me to wait so they sent out the sliders and Mac and cheese! I came with friends to watch two 4pm football games on a Sunday. I was glad to find that ALL the NFL games were playing! We started out with loaded tater tots, I eventually ordered some dry rub wings (seasoned well and came with celery and either ranch or blue cheese) and my husband got the salmon - which he says was good. If they don't have something on tap, be sure to check out the additional choices that they have available in bottles. On the food side, the wings here were pretty solid as well. Hate it when buffalo sauce gets too salty, but this place does it perfectly. The flavor is all there without being too greasy, acidic, or salty. I was also eye the tater tots, but didn't have enough room to carry it all. The only downside is the parking situation outside. Since this place is so popular, parking may be a bit tough. Being restaurants are struggling because the C word, I'll try my best to write this with that understanding, but we were not impressed that much with this place.. The poor waitress was running around as if she was the only one working so I'm guessing that's why she wasn't the friendliest and observant. It also took way too long for the table to be cleaned. I got the French dip and truth be told it wasn't anything special. The meat seemed really fatty and grainy (if that's a thing with steak) . The fries I was so stoked about because Nonic in Columbus has truffle fries and they are the bees knees. These tasted like frozen fries with a weird, flavorless powder on them. The husband would live off fries if he could and he didn't even eat them. I would say for the price and up charge for them you'd think they would give you more than they do but I didn't care because they were gross so no worries. Mr Picky got some type of chicken sandwich I think and asked for no lettuce or tomato, but that didn't happen. Luckily he didn't think the vegetables contaminated his meat so he just took it off and ate. The price was a little much for what we ordered. We had to actually get the check fixed because somehow someone else's appetizer got rang up on ours and it was 25 dollar. Also I for sure don't want to get anyone in trouble, but I feel it needs to be said. They need to really pay attention to their serving alcohol vs eating food intake. I watched a lady who was a friend of the server, or she might have even worked there based off her shirt and maybe she was just hanging out after she got off, but she felt the need to loudly proclaim how she was drunk/tipsy and then proceeded to get in her car. Stopped in WOB to get out of the torrential downpour this area is famous for and to enjoy a pint while we waited. I don't go to a lot of pubs, so I was pleasantly surprised by how couples-friendly WOB is. It has a nice atmosphere with just the right amount of noise and bustle -- you can still talk if you want, but there's enough going on that you wouldn't get bored either. Service was prompt and friendly, even at 7:00 pm, and the drinks and food reasonably priced. We had two pints and two sides (sweet potato fries and tater tots) and escaped for under $25. read more

There food is fun and delicious We had s huge Bavarian soft pretzel to start then I had a chipotle chicken sandwich and my husband had a bowl with rice carrots chicken and tomatoes. Background - I always wanted to go the location in downtown Savannah but that is a pure bar with no food. I cannot take my daughter there. But I was looking online the one day to see what Savannah had for beer and saw the new location of Pooler. SCORE!! Atmosphere - The area is mega shopping area, and they put this oasis in the strip mall. A little beer makes everyone's day better. Okay so this is a chain, typically I stay away from those kind of places. But is it a bar and it really is about the beer, and they do not make that. They just service it, and you still can mess that up, but most places do not. So inside there are lots of TV's with sports games on them and a long bar with booths and high top tables. You need that long bar for all the fridges with glass doors and the 40 taps they have. They even have beer from a cask. Food Drinks - A got the Intro to Hops, 4 flights of IPA beers. I am no stranger to hops so no introduction needed form me. I have killed my fair share of hops. I love that India Pale Ale. Beer is the reason you come here. My daughter loved the Abita root beer that they have. Food - Early I indicated it was a chain, well the food came out and did not have that feel. I ordered the flank steak with French fries probably one of the more expensive items on the menu. But I think it was worth it. I the menu indicated it came with broccoli and I told my waitress do not bother putting it on the plate. Service - I had a very helpful waitress, and very patent and helped me hunt down IPA's from the area for my flight. Three of the four beers I had from Georgia and one was a collaboration beer. She also made sure my daughter was comfortable. There were some older kids there but not too many. At 9 PM you have to be 21 or older to be there. My visit this time was disappointing. I ordered beer cheese nachos, the taste wasn't bad but the cheese sauce didn't look creamy, it was a sort of thick looking texture laying on top of the chips. The Asian wings I ordered were baked and not fried (that's disappointing) and the flavor of the sauce, not the best. Maybe a lot of people enjoy large wings, I don't because it makes me think they were injected with hormones. During my last visit I had the best tasting tater tots but this time around they were greasy and didn't taste fresh, in fact after getting cold, there was a fishy taste to them. To top this all off, patrons are allowed to bring their dogs inside this tiny restaurant. As we were eating, you could see dog hair flying all over the place. In addition to that, I watched a server vigorously pet the dogs. That's unsanitary if she have to serve food and drinks. The customers with the dogs left and as they passed us, more dog hair flying near us and our food. I had to go boxes but ultimately I just put everything in the trash.
